That was an absolutely amazing dinner, from start to finish, the service, our meals, the atmosphere everything was just perfect! Definitely made a lasting impression and my husband and I will visit often. Well done!
Interior is slightly dated in style and restaurant seemed a little understaffed as it took a few minutes for a host to greet us when we got there. However, once seated our server was attentive and knowledgeable about the food. Cocktails were very good (Shizo Julep and G12), oysters and sushi were good, Chilean Sea Bass was great but a bit overpriced ($37). Given the ease of making a prime time dinner reservation on a Friday night, good service, and quality food, this is recommended for an upgraded seafood dinner on a regular basis.
Awesome dining experience. Our waitress Gillian was amazing and we would totally come back.
Very good food in a lovely setting. Excellent service with a very knowledgeable and personable server. We hoped for more seafood selections, not realizing it was mostly sushi type options, but we had not researched the menu before hand. Would eat there again.
Always a great choice when I visit the area! Service and food are fantastic! Park in the garage connected to the restaurant.
Firecracker and Duck Pot Stickers are highly recommended appetizers as are Chilean Sea Bass and Icelandic Cod for entrees. Try sharing the refreshing Black Rice dessert.
Per usual the food was excellent. Sea Bass is the best around and the mussels appetizer was great. Great restaurant.
The Sea Bass was amazing -- cooked to perfection with a wonderful glaze. This is one of many consistent items on the menu.
I thought the cod entree was excellent—my girlfriend, who claims she doesn’t like cod, kept stealing little bites of it—although rather small in size. Overall, I would like a seafood restaurant with more Mediterranean options, rather than Asian. Coffee just so-so; not a really aromatic espresso.
Waitress extremely helpful and knowledgeable.
I had sashimi and a romaine salad. My sister had cod. The sashimi and cod were both excellent. The romaine salad was drowned in dressing. It might have been excellent if I’d asked for light dressing. Server was pleasant and attentive. I’ll go back.
I have been to this restaurant numerous times. I have never had a bad meal. The ambiance is nice and parking in the garage below is easy.
We have eaten at Sea Pearl before, usually with good results, but this time? Not really. We had to use Deck A parking, which is a very long walk indeed for a disabled person. The waitress was rushing, and spoke too fast to process. The clam pasta had almost no clams
, while being otherwise tasty. The cod was a bit overdone, and otherwise unmemorable. We suggest staying with the cold side of the menu, since that has always proved to be good.
Not Great for Sunday Brunch - The pancakes were greasy. The friend potatoes tasted odd. The options for the chocolate fountain were too limited and inappropriate (melon and chocolate are just not good partners). The fried chicken was so-so. A lot of mediocre food for $40.
We had a wonderful time here as always. The chilean sea bass never disappoints 😊 We can’t wait to come back.
Good food, but a bit on the small portion side. Were there early so was quiet. Clam and corn chowder soup tasted good.
The music was annoying and loud when we came in, but the server turned it down a bit it’d be good to make it background music not louder.
A very good experience. My party of three was delighted.
Fabulous food and ambiance. Frustrating when you want to clear and bill and request boxes to go. Service is slow then. Overlooking that, Sea Pearl is wonderful and we will absolutely be back.
Perfect place to celebrate our anniversary! The salmon and crabcake dishes were delicious. Our server, Anne, was attentive and friendly. Will definitely be back.
Great food. My cocktail was done just right. The appetizers, oysters fresh and fried tasted really good. The main course dishes were tasty. Our waiter, was very thorough and explained each dish very well. My dessert drink was the best !!! Taro Cocktail ?
Love this restaurant! Been going there since it first opened. Super nice staff. Delicious high quality food. Sushi is to die for!!! A true delight.
Everything was good. Service was great! I was with an elderly group (noticed quite a few there) and my recommendations are to put a handrail for walking down the two steps from the buffet area and to give alternative sauces for the meat etc that isn't too spicy.
Overall, my friend and I had a nice time dining for dinner. The duck potstickers and sea bass were delicious, but I wasn’t impressed by the sushi rolls we got. The prices were a little higher than I expected. The service was excellent but felt awkward when the furniture around us was moved when the staff was getting ready to turn the room into a night club. I guess that was our cue to leave!
Overpriced buffet was mostly tasteless diner fare and not Asian.
Service was great. We arrived 1:40 and brunch buffet ends at 3 but food was cold business was slow.
They did not acknowledge our special occasion, it was my adult daughter’s birthday.
I loved every aspect of the place! Everyone looked like they were enjoying themselves, the food was excellent and I enjoyed my time with the waiter too! I personally never tried Sea Bass, but it was recommended and I loved it! I will happily come again! And especially on their Thursday nights when they have a DJ!
Food was O.K. but I has to send it back because it wasn't hot. They need more non-seafood Chinese options for those of us with seafood allergies
The buffet was terrible
Food was great. Our waiter Ben was courteous and very knowledgeable about the menu. Will definitely be back.
The waitress was the absolute best. She recommended really good food that tasted amazing. We got sat in a very nice place. The restaurant was clean and everything was organized. It was very lovely, I would go again.
Clearly, management needs work! Though we were seated quickly, we were waited on by the Bartender as apparently they were short handed wait staff. In fact I noticed he was waiting on 9 tables! It took almost 45 minutes for our food to come and we never received the water we asked for. Though the food is very good, we won't be going back after having eaten there numerous times before.
I have been to Sea Pearl before and had a great experience! This time around there were a few issues...
I reserved a 2:30pm time slot for Mother’s Day on the Tuesday before through Open Table. My husband had went to the actual website and saw that there was a Mother’s Day brunch menu. He called same day to see if the brunch menu was optional, he was told yes. I received a follow up call on Thursday about our reservation and double checked what he was told and I was given a different answer. Ok, at this point, there is nothing we can do, we will just have to pay the higher price for the brunch buffet. We get there and are seated and then we are told, the buffet closes at 3pm, so you may want to go ahead and get your plates. The issue I have, is that you allowed me to schedule a reservation 30min before you close the buffet, knowing that you don’t plan to put out fresh food. We were scraping the bottom of pans and for $49.99pp, that was unacceptable to me! The food was cold and picked over! I would like for Sea Pearl to do a better job managing this time gap!
It’s a different experience when you are ordering from a menu and receiving your food fresh and hot, than when you have to scrap up food from a buffet!
For $49 a person, no Sushi or Sashimi. Ran out of Oyster. Cocktail shrimp was soggy. Few entries worth mentioning. Didn’t even bother to touch its desert. Servers were attentive. Place bright and clean.
Very nice place, went for Mother's Day Brunch. Food very good. Service very good. Overall happy with the selection of this restaurant.
Great Server, Ben. Everything else, just ok. Disorganized hostess and seating process. Egg dishes need help; cold benedit and drastically undercooked scrambled eggs. Overpriced for what you get, and at $50 a head, ridiculous that coffee and juice isn't included in the price.
We love the Sea Peael. It is our go to for special occasions. The food, staff, and venue all come together to make for a great time.
The Mother's Day buffet was excellent. There was a variety of food from typical breakfast items, to steak, crab cakes, and sushi. The deserts were good and the chocolate fountain was a nice touch. The restaurant can seat large groups, which, if you're a small group, can be a bit loud. The wait staff was helpful and courteous, taking plates away quickly.
A+ service and the food was delicious. We will definitely be going back. If it's your first time, stop by for the 7 days a week happy hour, it's worth it!
