I pre-scheduled reservations for my husbands Birthday. We were staying at the Shade Hotel. When we arrived the hostess said she didn't have my reservation for outside and that all they had was a small seat by the front entrance. Not to mention the hotel concierge confirmed my reservation earlier in the day and it is also up top. We ordered cocktails and waited for nearly 25 minutes for them to arrive. We did not want to run the risk of waiting another 25 minutes for dinner so we paid for our drinks and left. Horrible Birthday Experience!!!!

We had Thanksgiving buffet in the late afternoon. The food was very good. We enjoyed the buffet selections and appreciated the option of salmon for those who do not eat meat. But we would have preferred traditional holiday pies for dessert.

When we were offered drinks, we asked for a wine and cocktail menu. Instead, for some reason the server asked what we liked and chose for us. I always prefer to be given a menu with prices, and other tables got them.

On the downside, this restaurant is basically open air and can get cold and windy after sunset in the fall/winter. Our table was in an outdoor tent and every time a customer or worker opened the door we had to hold on to our table linens and hair. I had even asked for a warm location, so this really detracted from the overall experience.

My daughter and I went for an early dinner, exhausted after a memorial service during the day. Our server was instantly engaging and got us laughing within minutes. We just had salad and appetisers but it all was great! And then came the sunset over the harbour...

We were there at 8PM on a Sat. night and were seated right away. It took us 20 minutes to get our cocktails after the order was taken- there were two bartenders working... and it wasn't only our table, it was just a slow, laid back attitude, not that they were swamped with customers. And you miss the details... why don't you serve your cocktails with napkins? refill water? The food was tasty, but again, we were pretty much done with our meals until someone checked to see if we needed another drink...

Had an amazing brunch at Sea Level Restaurant with a group of friends. We sat outside around a fire pit while gazing at the sailboats and beautiful Marina. The food and wine was fabulous and service attentive. Everyone loved what they had, which included the crudo, seabass, farm to table omelet, eggs benedict and the house salad. The waiter overheard us talking about one of us having a birthday and surprised us with a delicious, complimentary dessert with a candle. Can't wait to go back!

The food was amazing, as is the view of the marina. On the downside, we were seated 30 minutes late for our resrrved table. Also, there was a private party in the banquet hall right above the restaurant. The noise level from the party was out of control.

We went to the Sea Level restaurant on a Saturday night to enjoy the seaside view. Inside was loud, so we asked to sit outside. This was also loud with a bar like atmosphere and there was a competing private party on the level above where we sat. Our drink order was taken pretty quickly by friendly and fairly attentive servers. Given the number of drink options on the menu, I expected our cocktails to be tastier than they were - overly sweet and not very flavorful. The wait for the entrees was fairly long, but once we got them, they were good. Dessert was so-so, again not that flavorful or interesting. So, all in all, I would have said that this is a place that focuses more on their bar and ambience than on the food, except the drinks weren't that good.

We had 6:00 reservation, we showed up at 5:30. There was NO room for us at the bar and no where else for us to sit to enjoy happy hour before our reservation. So we asked to be seated earlier. EVEN THOUGH OUR TABLE WAS READY AND EMPTY, THE HOSTESS WOULDN'T SEAT US. She said she had to wait to see if anyone came for 5:45.....doesn't she know who has a reservation? We stood there, freezing and just waited for table, we would have ordered drinks and appetizers if she had sat us! Total loss for them. We left after one drink and went somewhere else. Also, the wind is very annoying....does not make a nice atmosphere while you are sitting there.

We have been to Sea Level several times and the atmosphere is great but he service is very poor. It takes forever for the food to come out and the wait staff is not very attentive. Often times we’ve had to flag
our server down if we want to order additional drinks, find out where our food is or ask for the check. We have had the same experience if it’s just two of us or if we are with a group. It’s really unfortunate because it’s a great location.

Had a great shaded table outside with a nice breeze and a little warmth from the sunlight. Unfortunately the table next to us decided to ask for the heaters to go on so it did get a little warm (hint: they probably should’ve asked for a table in the sun if they were cold). Waitress was friendly but she would tend to not be around which made it hard to ask for refills or dessert or the check. Other than the less than stellar service. The food was good and much better than I expected since I have low expectations for any place that comes with a great view. Would definitely come back again and would just make sure I try to find the wait staff that actually will be around a little more. By the way, valet parking is only $6 and just a few feet from the restaurant.

I would have given this a 1 star if it wasn't for the food and ambiance. We were celebrating a very good friend's birthday and we wanted some place fun unfortunately we went hungry. The food was excellent when we received service. There looked to be enough staff but we always had to track them down which became both frustrating and annoying. So if you go...sit outside and enjoy the view to take your mind off the fact you haven't been served.

Caesar salad not great.. had a hair in salad, dressing blah, no parmesan & croutons that could break your tooth.

But mussels in broth were to die for!

Never had a bad meal before.. so I will definitely go back :)

Brekky by the water... wait staff tripped over each other to take excellent care of us... had two 90 year old ladies out for grandparents day... they were cold... 2 heaters rushed to the table... they were hot... they were cold... spoon was too small... more coffee... more yellow type of sugar... the staff deserves a metal!!
Happy daughter and grandson!! Happy old people!!!

You can't beat the view of the marina. The food was very good. The server was great and patient at explaining all the dishes. On the down side, the food was served very slowly, so plan a long meal. Also if you sit in the outside area to the right of the restaurant, prepare to sit in a wind tunnel no matter the time of year.
