Place is nice. Music was great. Food average and don’t order truffle fries- up charge of 9$ and staff doesn’t tell you. Food was lukewarm. Expensive.
Overall, it was an ok night; however, we had some concerns. We arrived and ordered drinks off the menu but were immediately told "none of the specialty cocktails could be made" and the menus were being removed from the tables. I then ordered a pear martini but it did not taste remotely close to what it should have and I could not finish it. The champagne toast was literally being poured with only minutes to go until midnight causing the staff to have to pretty much RUN the trays out to guests. I'm not sure what was up with the bartending staff but they certainly did not seem prepared or trained. The food was delicious but the table was not restocked so when we went to go back a little later for a snack, the food was all gone. The heaters above us were turned off and it was quite chilly. We asked twice to have them turned on and they came on for a second and were immediately turned off again. No idea why. Lastly, partway through the evening, tables and chairs were being brought in making the room more crowded. It was probably not a smart move during Covid considering no one had masks on. We started to get uncomfortable with the reduced proximity to others. We would certainly recommend going to dinner there again, but would probably not do an event like this again.
We went for the New Years Eve early seating. The experience was very elegant - valet, coat check, bubbly upon entrance. The decor was beautiful as well. They were well-staffed, but some of the servers seemed either immature or unfamiliar with how the evening was supposed to happen. None of the "errors" ruined the evening by any means, but were just unexpected considering the price and how extravagant the experience seemed. A few examples: it wasn't made clear up front that you had to specify you were a vegetarian to get the vegetarian option or how to properly order from the prix fix menu (although we really liked the price fix structure!). One of the small plates included squab, which was a little unusual. Taste was ok, but I think our entire table would've preferred the vegetable (cauliflower) substitute. Our server brought us butter plates, but then never brought the bread. We had to request the bread once we realized everyone else had received it (we were wondering what the butter was for for a while before realizing). The bread was AMAZING; we were very happy we got it! We ordered a bottle of Justin, but were brought a bottle of Joseph Carr. Luckily we caught that before they opened the bottle, and that was corrected. There was only one dessert option, a very delicious cheesecake, but right before serving it, the server let us know that there was another option, but there was only one left, so only one person at our table could have it. We thought this was a very strange offering. Lastly, when we ordered the tickets, it included a cocktail hour after dinner on the rooftop bar, but when we asked our server if we could just head up, she told us that that option was for the later seating. Then the hostess told us that only SOME people were given this option. In the end, they were very accommodating and let us enjoy the cocktail hour, which was well worth it - the rooftop was gorgeous, the atmosphere was very fun, and the bartenders were awesome!
A very bad experience and will never return!!!!!
Drinks way over priced, more attention to detail. Had to ask for flatware, few items on entrees were not prepared to request
Great staff, very pleasant and fresh and hot meals. Presentation excellent. Offering many items on menu
Nice place, solid food but lacking ambiance in large room.
Thanksgiving dinner was amazing! We loved the cocktail hour with the raw bar and charcuterie. The buffet was awesome and the dessert was fabulous! The waiters and waitresses were so friendly and attentive.
What an incredible experience! Lina was such a delightful waitress, and the entire restaurant was beautiful. Had a perfect atmosphere and just the right amount of other diners. We went for Thanksgiving, and have decided this will be a repeat event for us. Beautifully done, and staff that really care about creating a positive experience! My favorite part was my dessert, those homemade marshmallows were to die for!
Excellent Thanksgiving buffet with raw bar cocktail pre reception. The roof top is beautiful! Recommend!
Our first visit and we loved our Thanksgiving meal and raw bar experience before. Food was excellent and staff/service was great!
An amazing place!!! I will definitely be back. Thank you again for a unforgettable night
What a wonderful experience.
Everyone was so helpful and happy, from valet to the oyster shucker. We can’t wait to go back.
Went to the Pelham House for Thanksgiving buffet. The food and service were terrific. I highly recommend and will definitely return.
The setting and buffet were perfect! Great raw bar overlooking the ocean. Traditional foods that were wonderful. Would definitely recommend it.
We loved our visit to sea level @ Pelham we were disappointed by our stay at the resort with noisy neighbors but the resort was most accommodating! Thank you!!
The location and ambiance can't be beat. Unfortunately there were a couple of hick ups with the waiter taking our order. One diner was not asked how they would like their eggs cooked and the kitchen cooked them over easy (diner does not like runny eggs). Another diner asked for the lobster salad and as it was a "side" and waiter did not ask what main dish diner wanted. Diner had wanted salad with the lobster salad accompanying it. Person delivering the lobster salad was very accommodating with getting order corrected. Waiter did not come back to ask how our order/slash food was. As it was a beautiful Sunday, extra tables kept being added for diners as they arrived and the poor food expediter was delivering food to the wrong tables (not his fault, just confused). Food was very tastey and creative menu offerings. I noticed next page asks if I would recommend this restaurant for special occasions. I had notated this was a special occasion with our on line reservation and there was no reference made as to the occasion we were there for.
No ambiance whatsoever. Like eating in an abandoned conference room. Food was ok. But way overpriced. Service was subpar. Go to another place
The dinner was very good. Our waiter was wonderful. And, since we were there on a Thursday night there was live music. What a treat! It was a thoroughly lovely evening.
The Pelham patio area is a complete package. A beautiful view, appointed with comfortable and attractive furnishings, indoor and outdoor seating, delicious food and a brief but worthy wine list. As with other restaurants during this odd period, they struggle to maintain a complementary wait staff. However, the staff they have is friendly and accommodating. Lastly, if you enjoy the idea of entertainment while dining on great food, you’ll love the spacious indoor music venue. It’s not too loud and there is plenty of dance space if the music moves you. A discriminating diner…..
One of the most scenic locations on Cape Cod. Server (Kate?) was terrific. Pleasant attentive without being intrusive Sat at fire pit table on a glorious fall late afternoon/ evening Extensive menu choices and a short but approachable wine list both by the glass and bottle. I highly recommend
Food was great
Fitzy did a great job on our post dinner drinks
Enjoyed listening to Mattie Sheehan as well!
Wonderful dining experience!
Views, food & service outstanding!
This such a fantastic experience! If you can get seating at the fire pit, I would highly recommend it. You overlook the ocean and you get the wonderful ambiance of the fire - so lovely. The food is outstanding and the servers are efficient and friendly. It is a very special place to go with a date (or to propose…..). I can’t recommend it highly enough! We’re going back for Sunday brunch.
Oktoberfest was a blast !!! So glad we went!
Excellent experience, we spent about 2.5 hours for lunch, really enjoyed outdoor patio with fire pit, excellent view and food. Very nice facility and server was excellent, very attentive.
The menu was odd for the location, like they are not sure what type of food they should be serving so trying a little of everything. The food was overpriced and poorly presented. It's a beautiful location but not somewhere I would rush to go back to. They definitely need to improve the quality of the food.
Great night and a perfect view.
It’s a beautiful place with beautiful views right on the ocean. Ambience couldn’t be better. I’d been to the Rooftop once before for Mother’s Day dinner and it was perfect. This time we thought we’d try their Sunday Brunch on the Patio as a bon voyage celebration for a family member. The service was slow, but that’s been true all over the cape this summer due to the pandemic, so no big deal. The food we ordered was delicious. The only problem is that the menu was no where close to what you’d expect for a Sunday brunch. Yes, they had Bloody Mary’s and Mimosas. But the menu was just their regular lunch menu. Plus 3 brunch specials, a bagel breakfast sandwich, pumpkin cream cheese French toast, and some kind of untraditional Benedict (can’t recall). No egg dishes, no pancakes, nothing else. We asked if they could do pancakes for my mom, but they said no. More than $300 for 7 people and the two older kids ended up with fried chicken sandwiches and 3 of us settled for menu items we didn’t really want. We should have reviewed the menu more carefully on their website beforehand. If they had offered more traditional brunch options, I’d be giving them a 5-star review. They do everything else very well.
Can I give this 20 stars? We love Everythung about PH. The staff is fantastic, friendly, fun. John the manager is The Best at making you feel comfortable. The campfire, s'mores, and champagne in front of the campfire on the beach...while the full moon rose...life is good!
Birthday celebration, great view and great food!!
Beautiful but a glass a red wine $25.00 is ridiculous and cocktails very pricy ,Food was very good and the view was to die for
5 star service, from the valet to the hostess to the server. The view's not bad either!
Beautiful view of ocean , delicious food and the staff was super nice!
Killer views. Fantastic live music on a Friday evening around sunset. A little pricey, even for the Cape. This chef has a lot of potential. The beet salad was almost perfect - the whipped cheese was fantastic / a different green would really elevate this imaginative dish. Lots of Japanese influences on the menu. The statler chicken and cavatelli entrees were imaginative, if a bit over-designed. The espresso brownie is exceptional - the flavor profiles, the plating, just everything. The Fallin For Ya martini was clever, but a little weak. Looking forward to how this chef matures.
The food was fantastic! Best Calamari! Service was great and so were the specialty drinks!
Great spot on the water. Food good but expensive. Service slow but understandable considering lack of help on the Cape. Friendly staff, fire pits, wonderful views right on beach but not the place to go if in a rush.
Lovely to be outside with delicious food!
Had a great time at dinner the other evening. Had dinner on the patio. Live music, gas fire pits, right on the beach. Background sounds of the waves. Food was very good, again had a great time.
We waited at our table 15 minutes before a waiter came. The service was extremely slow. The special omelette was supposed to have poblano chiles in it ,there wasn’t one! We’ve been before but it will be quite awhile before we go back
