Sea Glass Bistro & Lounge
We ate at this restaurant because we did not want to drive any more that day. It was a pleasant experience with a great view of the ocean. The menu and wine list were both very limited. On a recommendation from front desk staff my husband and I both ordered the Thai steak sandwich which was delicious. The sandwich and fries were both served hot. We shared a side salad which was just average. Overall, we enjoyed our dinner and would eat there again.
We ate at the Sea Glass Bistro three times during our stay at the Best Western Agate Beach. I read the reviews and they said the menu was different than the menu on Open Table so we were prepared for a different selection. The first night we both had the sirloin steak and it was excellent. We also at breakfast the next morning and it was so large we saved half for the following morning. That evening we had the burger and the Louie Salad. Both again were delicious. Later we went back and ordered a dessert for our room, the chocolate espresso brownie with vanilla ice cream. It too was delicious. We had the same waitress as we had two years ago so it was like coming back home to eat at a familiar place. Afterwards we went and sat by the fire ring which was lit in the sand pit be the patio. We had a wonderful time and the smoke had cleared out so we could enjoy ourselves.
This is fourth or fifth time I/we have eaten here in the past two months. Still terrific burgers, flavorful and juicy! Last evening, two of us ordered the ribeyes and they came out cooked to perfection. Nancy, our server, is sweet, knowledgeable, and accommodating. Wanted to sit outside but due to fires, the air quality kept us inside. Pacing of our meals is always spot on.
First of all, do not rely on the menu posted on Open Table. In reality it is a fraction of that. It consists mostly of what I would consider bar food. The fish and chips were heavily breaded. So were the asparagus spears from the appetizer menu. So much breading that the items doubled in size. The service was slow, but the server was very nice and attentive. There was no wine menu, so I had to guess at ordering a glass of wine, which was a decent glass of wine.
Food is very good, service is great. Of course, odd during the covid shutdown. Probably best to reserve a table.
Great views, food okay but given the supply chain. Service was great! I’d certainly go back again!
We were expecting a stand alone restaurant but found that it was inside a Best Western Motel. Food was good although the menu didn't match what was online. Service was good and very attentive.
Ate there two evenings and both were very fresh and delicious. Would recommend to friends and family.
Showed up 6:10 for 6:15 Rez.
They asked us to wait
Party of 7 took shows up and takes our reservation
I have the Rez confirmation.
I had a delicious dinner at the Sea Glass Bistro. The Bistro Burger was tasty and the Apple Pie with Caramel Sauce was the perfect dessert!
Washa was the best and helped us with reservations and seating and serving! Thank you!! Great experience X3 -
Nice outdoor experience. We had a table with but in fireplace. Good food. Good service.
Still slow service, but friendly waitress. They didn't open on time. I waited about 15 minutes for them to open the doors. Clam chowder still had grit in the clams and was not very flavorful. The Caesar salad and strawberry shortcake, however, were very good. The shortcake was huge, so bring help to eat it! I would say come for the view of the ocean more than the food...
Varied menu, fantastic view, great service! Calamari crispy, prime-rib/smoked cheese grilled sammie was mouth-watering! Clam chowder was tad salty. Cheeseburger was juicy and shareable. Absolutely no complaints from anyone!
Great place to dine in if you’re staying in the hotel. Patio was chilly, but we chose it anyway and had a lovely evening. Staff really went out of the way to make us feel welcome. The food was far better than I had anticipated. Beer selection was limited. Overall, this is a great place to have an evening meal; choose a place at the south end of the patio to get the best sunset views while dining.
What can I say, except it was great, and I didn't need to go anywhere else for food etc.
The eervice was great and I will be back .
My food was over salted and it was noisy when being sat right next to the kitchen.
This is the captive restaurant in a Best Western. The view was great on the patio, but the food offerings were hotel room service. Menu on the open table site was not what was available. We left without eating. Lame
The food was very good.. Great Location and Very Friendly staff.
