   I stay at the Wonder View Hotel when I visit Bar Harbor and eat just about all of my meals in this spectacular restaurant. I've never been disappointed.

   From the moment we were greeted to the time we said goodbye, our dinner was nothing short of amazing! Faith, our server, made sure to educate us about the menus and wines. All suggestions were welcomed! The lobster tacos, and cheese bord were delicious! As well as the gorgeous scallops! But the braised ribs took the front lead! My husband won’t stop talking about them! Complimentary champagne for our anniversary was so nice! We’ve already recommended the restaurant to many friends and look forward to returning ourselves! Thank you for making our 5 year anniversary so memorable! Sea Glass is now a favorite of ours! Good job to the whole team!

   I decided to try this restaurant out being new to the area. I’ve seen it on Open Table many times but have never been here to eat. I overheard the waitress that was serving the couple next to us if they were locals? They said yes and she gave them a discount. However when our waitress asked how we were and if we had a good night. I explained to her we didn’t stay there but was new to the area and wanted to try something new out. We did not receive the discount for being locals on our meal. We came for brunch as we eat out a lot just being the two of us... I love the atmosphere and the food was great. Just not sure why our server wasn’t “all the way there.”

   We had the same dish we had the night before. Mushroom Bolognese. A vegan dish. Well it was not near as good as the previous night. The portion was 2/3 the previous night. The sauce was 1/4 what it was. A bit disappointing to say the least.

   The food was mostly excellent. In my $55 surf and turf the shrimp were underdone even for a guy who likes his meat rare. Our server was somewhat inattentive compared to the others who were working.
