Always wonderful fresh seafood! The specials are always great!
Everything was great.
We went the day after Valentines hoping it was less crowded but no chance. We got in within 15 minutes of our reservation. The first thing I noticed was the noise level was very high and the tables are fairly crowded. Not what I was expecting for a $$$$ restaurant. While waiting we were able to carouse the fish market and watch them cut the fish. We had the sampler appetizer, lobster bisque, snapper special and swordfish. All were excellent and came out fast.
Service and food was very good. Have had better desserts. Will go back for the fresh fish.
Great quality meal for Valentines Day. It was a set menu. Only thing that was surprising was the cost seemed to be about 30% higher than comparable higher end seafood establishments. Ambiance was not as great as I would have hoped for but getting a reservation for Valentine's Day the night before made up for it. The two meals with wine pairing came out to 250.00. Be Prepared! The food was excellent. SEA BASS and Sea Scallops.
Excellent fresh seafood.
This place is a total wanna be New England Seafood joint and proves that when you are in Texas - stick to meat and potatoes. I ordered the New England Platter - and it was anything but. The chowder was clumpy but ok. It was the platter itself that was an embarrassment - where to begin? Portions - these are a joke - it’s like you are getting served bite-sized portions with the exceptions of fries and coleslaw- but given how bad these tiny portions are - it probably isn’t a bad idea. Case in point, the clam strips were totally rubbery and worse yet came with a healthy dose of sand. Seriously, do these folks actually clean this food or are they literally taking sea to table too seriously? What is worse is the lobster roll - more like substitute lobster roll. The lobster was watery and rubbery as well. I could only take one bite of it and my appetite was lost. Heck, I just came from DC and had a killer lobster roll at Mason’s Famous Lobster Rolls - THAT WAS LEGIT. This place? Not so much. Bottom line - the food these folks serve bear little resemblance to the New England Cred they claim to have.
Another wonderful dinner at Sea Breeze. Excellent, varied menu and a well selected wine list.
Never disappointed at Seabreeze!!! Outstanding seafood and service !!
Excellent fresh seafood
I don’t know why the reviews on the value for what you get is a bit mixed. When you are getting fresh seafood and you don’t live on the coast ....you won’t get fast food prices. I was so happy with the smoked salmon....oh my sooooo tasty with the crostini’s. We also ordered the fried green tomato towers with crab. Another great dish with deep yummy flavors. We were getting full at this point but split a slice Jannas ice cream pie. That was really out of this world. Will be bringing hubby here for really fresh seafood. Value, food and service were great and what I expected.
Sea Breeze never lets us down! This is the best place in town for a lobster roll, and one of the very best for fresh, beautifully prepared seafood. The service is always first rate, friendly, and fast. It is truly a hidden gem. It's also a wonderful place to buy fresh seafood to take home and cook, sourced directly by the owner.
This was one of the best meals we've had out in awhile. Everything we had was wonderful - hot, fresh, and tasty! We had the shrimp scampi, clam chowder, Taste of New England, gumbo - everything was very good. The service was also attentive and friendly. It was a great date night out! Thanks for a great dinner!
Surprisingly laid back environment, located in a strip mall with diner type furniture. High end tickets, budget environment. Don't let that be a barrier, the cost savings on the facility is clearly invested in the food, which was phenomenal. Everything on the menu looked good, so we ordered five different entrees, appetisers and bowls of clam chowder, every plate was cleaned (yes, I thought about licking it) Fish was ALL fresh. The chowder was good, maybe could have been a tiny bit thicker to tick all the boxes. Best blue cheese dressing I've ever had, skip the ranch on your salad. Be sure to get the ranch whipped potatoes and DO NOT leave without trying the Key Lime pie. We eat out a a new restaurant every Friday night, this is one of the favorites. Oh and the server was awesome, ask for Charlie, my glass was never empty!!
Food was absolutely fantastic. Jan, our server was phenomenal. Ryan, Chef, came by to make sure we were pleased. I can not believe Sea Breeze has been open for 13 years and we just discovered it.
We have been dining at Sea Breeze from it's beginning and we love this neighborhood gem! But, over the past year, we have noticed that the service is off. It is not bad, but is perfunctory and transactional, rather than warm and inviting. Very little interaction or smiling, no menu descriptions, wine suggesions, infrequent check back after food arrival, etc. I have attributed this to our early Sunday evening timing which has a significant contingent of the "blue hair" set on the scene; perhaps personnel presume a low tip and are setting their own performance bars low. We tip well and base it on level of service, so server will be compensated accordingly. (And, yes Sunday diners, please review your tipping practices to insure that you are up to date). Hope the servers will become happier in the New Year. The food remains great!
Fantastic food and service. Devin was spot on as usual as was the food. Highly recommended.
A really great dining experience, delicious seafood and wonderful service. One of our favorite neighborhood restaurants!
Absolute best seafood place around, cannot recommend enough
Seafood is what they do, and they do it as good as anyone.
We always enjoy Seabreeze. The best seafood in the area.
Great food and service. Open seating but not overly noisy.
The best Seafood, the best menu, and the best wait staff!
Great food at reasonable prices. Some of the best New England tastings in Texas. Can’t wait to go back.
Great bar, great food, great service. Thanks guys. Will be back soon and often.
Sea Breeze is the Best seafood Restaurant! Wonderful fresh seafood!
Great variety of sea food - New England, Gulf, etc. Excellent service and you know it is fresh when there is a fish market there too.
Had the black mussel pot and they were sandy. The dish is tasty, but the grit was unfortunate for the price.
The service was exceptional. Devon was very attentive. Jan made the birthday a great experience , she provided the birthday candle and taught us the Italian Birthday wish tradition. The food was excellent. The wine list was superb. Thank you for the wonderful experience.
Odor walking in was unpleasant. Calamari was nicely breaded but tough. Seafood was mediocre. Wine list was limited. Service was good. Atmosphere was not commensurate with prices.
The waiter was awesome. Just can’t remember his name but he served me before as well. Knowledgeable patience kind and provided excellent service.
Tried one of the new specialty cocktails - the French 75 was very good! Also loved the shrimp scampi entrée and cioppino. Can't wait to go back! Definitely recommend.
Awesome food, fresh and a huge selection of fish! Customer Service is top notch. Love everything about this place.
The food is wonderful and service is excellent! Ambiance is nice as well, this place is a hidden gem!
Always wonderful! Fresh and tasty, with excellent service
Excellent service and food
Food is good if you just want good soup and good fish, without a lot of frills. Laid back place but not cheap. Though it’s a nice meal, you can dress casually and relax.
I enjoy the casual setting matched with excellent food. I tried the fried seafood platter and enjoyed it; however, I have to recommend the non-fried selections here. The large menu always lets you try something new.
Clam plate was bland and overpriced! Will seek out other restaurants rather than return!
