Food was good. We never got our salad. Apps came with dinner. Slow service.
Lunch with the family
Was able to sit outside on the patio and it was beautiful.
Would I recommend to a friend? Yes and No.
Yes, because I did have a great time and enjoyed everything I ordered.
No, because most of my friends don't want to pay $100 per couple at a pub.
I had The Riso dish for dinner, which was good, but slightly overpriced in my opinion. For some reason they charge $6 to add chicken to their $16 zucchini noodle dish... which seems slightly unreasonable to me. The cocktail selection was great. Service was great. Love the vibes.
Will probably return, but only for special occasion type dates.
If you have a beer on the menu but then say we haven't tapped that keg yet, what's the point? The burger was decent. The fries were overcooked in what tasted like oil that was very old. You could tell the staff was not working well together and it showed in the service to many of the customers not just our table.
Our first trip to Scouts, very pretty location and building. We came early and they sat us anyway outside as requested, not bad patio area kinda small. Our waiter seemed to have either to many tables or was forgetful, had to ask twice for silverware set up (which came after we finished our app) by the way the crispy Brussels sprouts are beyond!! Besides our waiter issues, good food and nice location. We would go back again to see if it was just our sever.
Our table had a pizza ( don't remember which one), salmon, fish and chips and one of their burgers. Everyone was extremely happy with their meal. Zack was our waiter and was very attentive without being overbearing. It is a small place, but it has great ambiance.
We dropped into Scout's Pub midday on a Monday, as we were out that way coming back from an appointment. The restaurant was rather quiet, but the service was attentive and the food was as good as always. Honestly, The Scout is one of the best burgers I have had in the area, and the one I had on this visit was the best one yet. Highly recommended!
Great service and food. We always enjoy the food here. A busy Friday night and we had made reservations!
The pub rolls were amazing and the pub burger was delicious. Our server, Robin, took great care of us!
We thought Scouts had a Sunday brunch. So we were disappointed To only my find a couple of items on a very small brunch menu. We ordered off the lunch menu and the food was good.
We love Scouts in Westhaven. The service is always friendly, food tasty and the hand crafted cocktails are great. The bar tender is lovely and we like to sit to the bar to eat and chat. Great place.
Place was nice but the food was just ok for the price.
Down in the city to show someone the sites. Wanted something close to things. This is on south end of The Loop. Causal atmosphere which we wanted and reasonable prices for the city. Give it a try especially for sporting events!
Scout’s is one of my top favorites. Great place to meet a friend or see neighbors...
Excellent experience. Great food, great service!! Definitely be back!!
Great place to step in and visit again on a cold day! All of our dishes were flavorful and well prepared.
Great food and great service! The bacon brussel sprouts are awesome!
Over priced option for captive audience at Westhaven.
Delicious burgers and a fun atmosphere!!
Had a great time here. Had reservations for 6:15 on a Friday night. Was sat quickly, many tables already full. I think there is some new staff. Just amateur mistakes that weren’t a big deal. Solid menu choices making it hard to decide ! Got the Brussel sprouts, very good! California burger no bun was pretty darn good! Great draft beer choices. Will definitely go back!
The food here continues to get even better on every visit!
You don't come across many places the create their own meat blend for their burgers, which I love. They are definitely selecting seasonal produce and create new selections on the menu regularly.
Love this place!
Outdoor dining was cozy🧡
The flight of beer 🍻 was 😋 yum!
Attentive service, consistently excellent food, and casual yet classy ambiance. Great visit!
Our waiter was not super focused on us, but more on the two young blondes on the patio he was outside taking selfies with while we waited for water and my friend’s order was wrong. Food was ok - definitely fresh ingredients except the ugly pale green tomato on my friend’s burger, which she didn’t order, btw. It wasn’t as spectacular in flavor as it was in price. My cocktail - the TN Sling - was the best part of the meal. Helped me forget the sun was in my eyes for the first part of my meal.
We have eaten at Scout’s twice, and it was wonderful both times! It is very kid friendly, and they have a really nice patio. Everyone in our party liked what they ordered both times. Scout’s will be a place we take out of town guests in the future!
Loved our dinner and everything about this restaurant. Delicious food, and when you go, ask for Oscar. He definitely delivers!!
I really like this restaurant. The food is delicious with healthier options, the atmosphere is active and the servers are very good. It's not a place for a quiet, or intimate meal, but great for a fun occasion. Very uplifting. Been several times and will continue to go there.
Reservation, seated immediately at nice corner table. Drinks served a little slow but at happy hour price-we were happy. Food came out hot and in a reasonable time. Hubs & I had the Thai chicken curry. Flavor excellent but chicken appeared to be pre-cooked as opposed to fresh. Friends enjoyed fish & chips & mushroom burger. I really enjoy this neighborhood restaurant with friendly staff and a menu that changes at least quarterly.
The food was okay--certainly nothing special. And our waitress was very nice--she just forgot--about five times--to bring something we asked for, like ketchup.
The food was fine, but I would not say great. My french toast was sopping with syrup, on the side would have been better as it was already drenched in sweetness. The bacon was a bit underdone, but had good flavor. My friends fish and chips were good. Just not great. It was good, but we are always looking for great options.
We arrive for brunch on Sunday morning at 10 AM. They opened promptly and we were seated promptly. We ordered water and coffee first. After 25 minutes the waitress came by and said that they were having trouble with the coffee machine but it would only be a couple minutes. We received coffee 35 minutes after we sat down and we received our food about five minutes before we got our coffee. The service was very slow & no one seemed to be in a hurry.
We love the friendliness of the staff and the customers. Sit at the bar and it’s easy to strike up a conversation with those around you. The drinks are good and the selection generous. The bartenders are fun and knowledgeable. The food is consistently good - we especially like the wings, pizza, salads and chicken curry. The patio is a great option on a nice night but we usually prefer the buzz at the bar.
Overall it was great. We will go back again. Love the environment.
Local Westhaven spot that serves mediocre food and has generally inconsistent service.
The prices seem high given the quality and quantity of the food.
Wine list has gotten better recently.
A convenient spot for locals, but that’s about it.
Great food and nice selection!
Made sure we asked the waiter about certain menu items....how prepared, what changes could be made, could a meal be split, etc. when one item arrived, the sandwich was make with berry aioli inside..might be ok, but said they could not leave off/out but the item arrived with pancake syrup and whipped cream....after saying can’t have sugar and don’t need anything sweet. Poor diabetics!
Restaurant in a great location with a fab neighborhood vibe!
We never been so disappointed in a meal. We ordered the Margherita Pizza and Bangers and Grits. No flavor at all. We had 1 drink each and the bill was $60.
One of their signature drinks, the Smoked Ol' Fashioned, was not available because the smoking machine broke the day before. Should have been replaced or fixed by the time we were there. The Bangers and Grits were totally unimpressive. Yes, it was supposed to be smoked sausage, but it seemed to be two Ball Park hot dogs on a bed of grits.
Tables were too close together so it was impossible to have private conversation.
We won't be back.
