We had a late night dinner with our keynote speaker. It was great that the restaurant could accommodate us for a 10:30pm reservation. The food was excellent and service was superb.
First visit to Scott’s for my birthday! Booked through open table was so smooth. Walked right in and was immediately seated at window table. Food was delicious especially desserts. The service was top notch! Made me feel super special. Family enjoyed too. Definitely will be back!
Fabulous ! Made my birthday very special!
The food was just amazing and the service was excellent
Scott’s Seafood at Jack London Square is a wonderful restaurant for a date! The service was excellent and the drinks were too. The waiter was very friendly and let us take all the time we wanted to sit, talk, and enjoy our drinks. I highly recommend.
Waiter brought new glass of wine to my wife. Instead of just placing the glass, he poured the remaining wine from the previous glass into the new one. Nobody was hurt, but come on! A minimum of training of a waiter should be expected, and this kind of behavior is just not too bad.
Excellent service and food! Great celebration place
As you would expect for a restaurant that has been here for a long time, the experience was wonderful.
I liked the seafood choppino but the marinara sauce was a little too spicy for me, my husband loved it. Also you might try to have gluten-free bread on hand for those that are gluten intolerant.
It was an amazing experience! The food was spectacular and the service was impeccable.
The food is seriously overpriced by 2x-3x what it should be. The service was indifferent. We won’t be going back.
The food was amazing, the atmosphere was perfect. Definitely recommend for an intimate evening dinner with a spectacular sunset looking out at a San Francisco.
we were seated promptly with attentive service that followed. prime rib was excellent. petrale sole, tasty but could have been prepared with a bit less cooking time. jack london square is a pleasant and safe place to be. overall, i would come back again with more friends.
We had an amazing Sunday brunch experience all around! The food was delicious and plentiful, mimosas were free-flowing, atmosphere was scenic and the jazz band was awesome! Special shoutout to our friendly, efficient, professional and accommodating server, Jade H., for making our dining experience even more wonderful!
It was our 28th wedding anniversary, we got engaged at your restaurant. we had a loving dinner.
We had a party of 10, food service excellent. We spoke to staff out water linking from air conditioning onto my mother in law and myself, then the manager. Nothing was done, never offered another table set empty next to us. We spent a lot of money and disappointed that nothing was done or offered.
Last night in California, we chose to dine at Scott’s. The appetizers (Oysters Rockefeller and a pear/spinach salad) were good. Entrees were less impressive - overcooked swordfish, a combination sort of seafood plate, and halibut were just okay. Dessert of Bread Pudding and Bananas Foster was the best thing we had all night! The view was lovely. Service was terrific!
We were celebrating our anniversary and we chose Scott's because we one we would be treated well
Love the attentiveness provided by the staff from the minute you check in until the time you leave; every detail is thought of including s photo of the special occasion, a rose for the woman and a dessert on dry ice with s candle in the center....rich tasting sorbet.
Very enjoyable lunch
Scott's Seafood was very good. Service and ambience were perfect. Excellent wine choice was recommended. I had my doubts, but it was just right for our meals. I had the Cajun prawns dinner. The shrimp was good. My only criticism would be that they left the tails on. I know it looks beautiful, but it's my personal pet peeve. I just don't like messing with them. The dirty rice was just a bit dry, but it was tasty. My husband's Louisiana seafood gumbo was delicious and perfectly cooked. Rum cake dessert was really good, as was the banana foster bread pudding.
Amazing food and service. We sat outside enjoying the water and quiet. It sounded a bit noisy inside.
Nice venue food was good especially the appetizers . Service was excellent I will go back again
Won a gift certificate to Scott’s Seafood Grill in Jack London Square. Have eaten here many times before. Today we were celebrating our anniversary. The wait staff were very attentive but not smothering. A lot of food choices and the dishes we chose were fresh, delicious, well prepared and nicely presented. Atmosphere is very low key and not rushed. We ordered one dessert and when they brought it, they also brought a dish of sorbet with a lit candle and a red rose and the manager took our photo. The waiter brought our tab and also presented us with our picture in a little frame with the date on it! Very nice touch! Very nice meal and experience!
Good seafood, a little expensive. Nice experience with good service.
Waiter took our drink order in A reasonable amount of time. We sat for 20 minutes till he made it back. Tried to serve our bottle of wine to another table.
Missed our order we both ordered fish and chips I halibut she snapper. Both came out halibut. Both way over cooked. Ordered desserts with coffee, no surprise he forgot coffees.
Gave him my parking validation he did not give it back, when I asked for it he gave me the wrong ticket.
Bad food worse service. How do they stay in business?
Not sure what happened....but we were seated quickly. Received our menus quickly.....then waited waited waited waited waited to place our orders. No drinks while we were waiting. After that...everything was OK.
Overall solid. Pride was decent. Server was attentive. Food was above average but no wowed. Will definitely go back to enjoy the view and the piano player.
Our experience at Scott's was excellent. We went there for our anniversary and the staff treated us like gold. We were seated by the window which gave us great views of the bay. We had the cajun popcorn shrimp to start. My wife had soft shell crab and I had the steak. We are every bite. The best part of the evening came after. The manager and our waitress brought out a very eye catching dry ice dessert. They also gave my wife a rose and took our picture. A few minutes later they gave us the picture in a little folder commemorating our anniversary. All in all a great night. Thank you so much Scott's!!
Had the Halibut Cheeks, the correct Chowder, and a shared Caesar Salad. Companion had the Petrale Sole, Chowder, and the Bananas Foster bread pudding. Everything but the Caesar salad was GREAT, do not eat bananas so I speak for the bread pudding. Was told it was fantastic dining companion got a single rose, a candle server in sherbet, and a picture taken cause it was her birthday. All-n-All t'was a very good time.
Service was excellent - We will be going back at least once a month!
Since we are total fans of Scotts in Walnut Creek, we were disappointed in our experience here. First of all, we appreciated having a table by the window but the tables and chairs were set so close together it was really difficult to get in and out, plus the noise level from the nearby tables was loud. Our prawn salads only had 3 delicious prawns on them which made the price seem too high? ($25!) Cheeseburger was only average and not the quality we find at our other Scott's. Waiter was very businesslike but not warm and seemed always rushed. Not typical for us to post a bad review.
As always, great food and interesting seasonal selections. Service was attentive and location on the waterfront is quite nice.
4 ppl for brunch cost $311, not including the tip of $68. The food was OK, definitely not worth almost $100 per person.
The area we sat was on the louder side, and the guest surrounding us had us uncomfortable with there choice of conversation. The food was excellent and the restaurant was beautiful. The staff could’ve been more attentive but overall it was a nice evening.
Overrated and pricey for the products served
It was my daughter's 23rd birthday annes Scott's is always her favorite for birthdays.
Awesome! Great catfish!! Lol
we had lunch for my wife's birthday and the day was just perfect. The food was great, the
window table we had was wonderful watching the boats and families coming to dock there
and coming into eat. Just a GREAT day.
The food was delicious. The waiters were plesant but it took a short while for entree to come out.
Friday night dinner. The weather was perfect for the outside patio area with view of the estuary and boats. Drinks, entrees and dessert were all good selections. Special treat for our anniversary. Wait service was prompt and attentive. Area is busy on Friday at other restaurants, galleries, and pop-up shops. Parking garage was full by 6:30 pm.
We celebrated our 25th Anniversary at Scott’s Seafood Restaurant. Everyone there had an awesome attitude and made us feel special.
