Friendly service. My dish was excellent but my husbands dish was only so-so. Definitely not worth $32-39 per entree that didn’t include any vegetable or salad. This used to be one of my go to restaurants but the prices are now too high for what you get.
Excellent food and service. The menu has a range of fresh seafood to choose from.
I took my mother for her birthday. She is 87 and uses a walker. Host was unfriendly but eventually came around and gave us a table in the far far corner of restaurant. Service was terrible. I had to hunt down waiter for everything...even a coffee. We were there for a Sunday brunch.... $60 per person seems very excessive when you can't even get a mimosa or coffee refill. Food was OK but service was really bad. We arrived at 1:30 so it was definitely not crowded and service should've been better.
My family and I usually frequent another brunch on Sunday; however, Scott’s Walnut Creek, is our new go to.:)
The food was great. The server was very attentive and made sure that we had an overall great dining experience.
We have been coming to Scotts for many years and always have a wonderful experience. The food is delicious, the fish is always cooked just right, with great sauces, sides and vegetables. The white clam chowder is fantastic. A huge hunk of the best sourdough bread is placed on the table as soon as you sit down. The drinks are excellent. Happy Hour is an amazing bargain for drinks and generous appetizer plates too. The staff is always friendly and they seem to enjoy working there. This is a great place for a date night or a family event. Love the free valet parking in the garage attached to the restaurant. You can't beat it!
Chuck was our waiter and was very accommodating and personable right off the bat. Our group of 7 ordered appetizers of calamari and oysters Rockefeller to share, both delicious. All entrees were excellent...it was difficult to decide because the menu offered so much. Our 2 desserts to share were also good. Lovely ambience; easy parking. Scott's is a favorite of the whole family.
We have dined ar Scott’s in Walnut Creek for many years and have always enjoyed a superior meal and service. The atmosphere is always pleasant. We celebrate our special occasions at Scott’s.
Birthday for dear friend’s 80th , who just lost her husband of 40 years.
Food very good indeed.
Very elegant decor.
See other in private
Our server Taylor was great. She was very attentative and pleasant to interact with.
One of my favorite restaurants! Always greeted with a smile. No 5 stars this time because the server didn't deduct my coupon and I was having so much fun with my guest, that I didn't notice until I got home.
Repeat customer for years, but Saturday night’s experience was horrible. The waiter appeared to be bored and did not check back for drink refills or ask how our meal was in the 90 minutes we were there. The food was OK, but not great. Very surprised for such poor service at this visit, that is not typical. However, it was bad enough to make us pause when we consider eating here again.
Great food, service and atmosphere.
It was very busy but fun. Great service and excellent food!!
The food was wonderful and the service was very good. We have not eaten there in quite a while so it was a nice treat.
The cioppini was loaded with fish scallops shrimp with a terrific flavor base ! The Atmosphere was terrific and service very good. !
I believe this was the worst meal I've ever had. Hot plates with cold overcooked entrees on top. Nothing was warm, cold pasta, overcooked seafood all the way around the table, cold mortar like mashed potatoes. At the prices they charge, they should be ashamed. Invisible service, there wasn't any. Sad story for a Tuesday night.
The Champagne Jazz brunch was an amazingly decadent, fun experience! Definitely felt like a special occasion - wish I could do it every Sunday! And our server, Jesse, was the best. Can’t wait to come back!
Very pricey but food and service excellent. We save it for those special times when the sky's the limit.
just not a good vibe, waiter acted liked we didn't matter
Great as usual. Wonderful dinner.
Service was terrible and food wasn't much better, and the price is outrageous considering. Took an hour to get our meal and the table next to us that was seated after us got their food first. Waiter messed up order multiple times, the Scott's brand wine is undrinkable, the seafood tasted like they picked up a to-go order from Olive Garden.
Our first time at this Scotts. Food was excellent and the server was extremely helpful. I had the seafood omelette off the brunch menu. Very delicious and filling. We will definitely go back the next time we’re in Walnut Creek.
Maybe it was an off-night (Sunday) but the quality of the food has deteriorated. I ordered a Petite Filet/Lobster Tail and was thoroughly disappointed with what was served. After explaining to the server that on my previous visit I ordered the meat cooked "medium" - it arrived still bloody. This time she recommended I order it "medium well" to which I hesitantly agreed. Well, the meat arrived beyond "well" - totally brown and dry. Further, the lobster tail arrived slightly undercooked and tasteless. I had other complaints which I will not go into here. Prices at Scott's are very high for what one gets.
Great old-style seafood restaurant with classic ambiance to match. Live music is a big plus. I wish they didn't have giant flat screen TVs above the bar, but that's just a nitpick.
The crab sandwich is amazing! I enjoy the view at the Jack London location however they no longer serve this sandwich. It was well worth the special trip. Chuck gave great service and I will definitely visit again soon.
Great service. The food is really good; ahi tuna and surf & turf very tasty! Live music on Saturday evening was really nice to listen to during our meal!
Beautiful evening...The live jazz set the atmosphere.
Food excellent; varied menu; complentary parking behind restaurant off Main Street. While this is good features be prepared to pay a high price for dinner
Awesome server. All staff members we interacted with were super nice. Food came out great. Will be coming back again.
A true East Bay classic. We love Scott's for special occasions and holidays. Perhaps the classiest restaurant in Walnut Creek - and with complimentary valet parking.
Just not that great for the price. Steak was over cooked and sides had no seasoning.
Good food; horrible cocktails.
Great food, great service, old school class.
We dine at Scott’s approximately 5 or 6 times a year and have become acquainted with Sebastian. On Feb 14th we were seated in the Contra Costa room, a very busy night. We were disappointed at first, because we normally sit in the main dining room. However, we were blessed with a subdued environment with a harpist playing sothing harp instrumental music, and were pleased for a very nice and quiet diner. When we left, we saw and heard the main dinning room at overflow capacity and load. Thanks for anic3 romantic dinner with my wife.
My husband took me to Scotts for Valentine's day. It was a lover's food find. We both had your Valentine's special. It was marvelous!! Our waitress was very professional and we had excellent service.
We will continue to dine with you.
We had the best waiter (Scott's Walnut Creek). Dionisio was efficient, cheerful, helpful and very pleasant. He made our Valentine's Day celebration extra special. We'll come again & ask for him to give us another great dining experience.
Food was great. Service was spotty. We had to order dessert 3 times as our first two choices were not available. TELL THEM TO BRING BACK OYSTERS ROCKEFELLER!!!!
