Maybe it was an off-night (Sunday) but the quality of the food has deteriorated. I ordered a Petite Filet/Lobster Tail and was thoroughly disappointed with what was served. After explaining to the server that on my previous visit I ordered the meat cooked "medium" - it arrived still bloody. This time she recommended I order it "medium well" to which I hesitantly agreed. Well, the meat arrived beyond "well" - totally brown and dry. Further, the lobster tail arrived slightly undercooked and tasteless. I had other complaints which I will not go into here. Prices at Scott's are very high for what one gets.
Great old-style seafood restaurant with classic ambiance to match. Live music is a big plus. I wish they didn't have giant flat screen TVs above the bar, but that's just a nitpick.
The crab sandwich is amazing! I enjoy the view at the Jack London location however they no longer serve this sandwich. It was well worth the special trip. Chuck gave great service and I will definitely visit again soon.
Great service. The food is really good; ahi tuna and surf & turf very tasty! Live music on Saturday evening was really nice to listen to during our meal!
Beautiful evening...The live jazz set the atmosphere.
Food excellent; varied menu; complentary parking behind restaurant off Main Street. While this is good features be prepared to pay a high price for dinner
Awesome server. All staff members we interacted with were super nice. Food came out great. Will be coming back again.
A true East Bay classic. We love Scott's for special occasions and holidays. Perhaps the classiest restaurant in Walnut Creek - and with complimentary valet parking.
Just not that great for the price. Steak was over cooked and sides had no seasoning.
Good food; horrible cocktails.
Great food, great service, old school class.
We dine at Scott’s approximately 5 or 6 times a year and have become acquainted with Sebastian. On Feb 14th we were seated in the Contra Costa room, a very busy night. We were disappointed at first, because we normally sit in the main dining room. However, we were blessed with a subdued environment with a harpist playing sothing harp instrumental music, and were pleased for a very nice and quiet diner. When we left, we saw and heard the main dinning room at overflow capacity and load. Thanks for anic3 romantic dinner with my wife.
My husband took me to Scotts for Valentine's day. It was a lover's food find. We both had your Valentine's special. It was marvelous!! Our waitress was very professional and we had excellent service.
We will continue to dine with you.
We had the best waiter (Scott's Walnut Creek). Dionisio was efficient, cheerful, helpful and very pleasant. He made our Valentine's Day celebration extra special. We'll come again & ask for him to give us another great dining experience.
Food was great. Service was spotty. We had to order dessert 3 times as our first two choices were not available. TELL THEM TO BRING BACK OYSTERS ROCKEFELLER!!!!
We had one of your coupons, we were a party of 4. The waiter gave the other couple the full amount. It should have been split.

Service was rather slow however a manager came by and helped us out on a couple occasions overall food is excellent and we enjoyed ourselves
Thanks to the manager things turned out fine
A great Sunday brunch with a great selection of items.
The cioppino there is terrific and on this particular evening it was the best of the best! All of the fish was cooked to perfection, delicate and ample. Loved loved it.
We always love the delicious choices for brunch. The only thing I would suggest is to add either signage or teach the employees about Gluten Free options. So many people have a wheat allergy now that it would be nice to know what is safe.
Great service. Fantastic experience!
Good food ; great ambiance ; excellent service.
Your hostess, service was outstanding. Thank You for helping me on a great celebration for a friend that turned 86 Year old
Great birthday celebration!
Great. Special birthday celebration
We were celebrating our anniversary. We usually go to Scott's in Oakland at Jack London Square. But we wanted to give this a try. The biggest issue with us was the service by the waiter. Not very attentive. We had to flag him down whenever we needed something. Then he complained to us about a patron at a table across from us after she and her husband left saying that "She was a tough customer. I don't think she is playing with a full deck!" The irony of it was with this patron, is that when the waiter first came to our table she called out "Aren't you going to check in on us to see if we need anything else?" (Which was our issue). My hubby also had to send back the steak because it was cold. My dish came out 10 minutes before his so we figured that the waiter was not paying attention. The food was good. Very nice atmosphere and great live piano music. But the service spoiled the occasion. One of those rare times when we did not give a good tip. Not sure if we will try this location again. Could be a different situation with a different waiter.
The Sunday special was great. My son and I really enjoyed the food, ambiance, service and the piano.
We were there on a Sunday night for the prime rib dinner. Prime rib was ordered medium rare, 3 of the four steaks came out as expected one was roughly one third gristle and fat not the best. We've been there before and not had this issue. Service however was very good.
