Scott's Restaurant - Walnut Creek
Book your next event with us
First time at Scott's took my date there and she loved it, liked the love music the set up and especially the food.
Aside from the server forgetting I was allergic to something twice. Mixing up the order and bringing the food to the table before telling him of the allergy a 3rd time, it was a wonderful night. Food was wonderful. It was Valentine's Day, so understandably busy. But if someone says they are allergic to crab twice, don't bring crab cakes to the table lol. Still will come back and enjoy the wonderful food again.
The food was mediocre. They sat us in a annex room of the restaurant. It felt like we were eating in the cafeteria of an old folks home.
Had Valentine’s Day dinner and all in all it was good. Entrees were excellent. Food was delicious. Pre fix menu was a perfect selection of salad, prime rib, crab cake, asparagus and mashed potatoes, dessert of chocolate strawberry, macaron, chocolate mousse, and topped with whipped cream and a chocolate heart, and champagne. Service was very slow but that’s to be expected on Valentine’s. Bar service could be better. Didn’t make our cocktails very good. We had a lovely, romantic dinner along with the harpist playing music in the back ground made the night memorable and we will return!
645 reservation. Didn’t get seated til 715. Then took another 15 minutes just to get our menus. Food was good at least
Maitdre d was awesome. Our original table was too close to the music. At our request he re seated us at a wonderful table.
We contacted the manager to express our thanks.
Valentines was awesome.
busy busy on valentine's day
food was ok
ambiance very nice
would recommend based on that
Our waiter was HORRIBLE. NEVER CHECKED ON US, never refilled anything...NEVER HELPED US AT ALL BASICALLY.
Food was spectacular, music was great and the view of the gardens was beautiful
Always love to Brunch here. The only issue I have is the live music. It’s way too laud. Very hard to carry on a conversation.
Everything was lovely. The food, the jazz, our waitress and so on. I went with a group of my closests friends who have never been before (except my cousin and I) and they all loved the place. We went for my birthday and the staff came out with desert and candle, a rose and even took our picture and framed it. It was so nice! Can’t wait to go back!
We had a wonderful brunch on Sunday. Food was excellent but very expensive. Around $70 per person.
You will need alot of money to eat here. There's not a big selection especially if you bring your children. The pianist is amazing, the garden view is great. The kids choice was bbq chicken and onion pizza and a certain burger. No pasta options.Every option seem to be $40 & up.We ordered water and we still were almost $200.00.I went there because we had a gift certificate otherwise,we could never afford to go there. We would LOVE it if it wasn't super expensive.
Great time I will go again
I loved the location
Celebrated my boyfriends Birthday at Scott’s. Absolutely, a first class restaurant. Food was delicious & service professional. I love Scott’s. Returning really soon.
Every time I go to Scott’s it is always excellent. First class all the way.🍷
Celebrating my mom’s 95th birthday. Food and service was wonderful. She felt very celebrated with a lovely rose and commemorative picture.
Food was very salty. Lettuce In Caesar Daly’s was old. Server disappeared at times.
Great food, wine and service.
Over priced for size of salmon serving. Otherwise it was a tasty and nice lunch. My guests salads were very generous in size and very good.
We have been to the restaurant several times with friends and family and it is consistently good. Good service, food and atmosphere -especially with the pianist! We will be back!
Excellent food, service and ambience. Piano music was lovely. I will be back soon.
Meet with old friends
Scott’s in Walnut Creek is another one of those gems that’s been around. Never goes out of style, it’s classy, classic, and timeless. The food, service, and ambience, is consistent, from start to end, with the valet parking, to the welcome, and thank you, at the conclusion. Always a most pleasant dining experience, that doesn’t disappoint.
Fabulous, great service, great people, great food
Our server was the best ever! The food was perfectly prepared. The attention to detail was the best I have ever experienced in Walnut Creek.
The food is terrific and we enjoyed the live music at a reasonable volume. Lovely.
Our wait server was less than exceptional. 1) Took food orders from the five men first and then the three ladies. 2) Asked only once, at the beginning, for drink orders. 3) When one of our guests asked for another beer she said "of course" and left the table without looking at the other glasses on the table or asking if anyone else wanted another glass of wine or beverage. 4) She never did bring the guest his second beer. 5) When she brought the check she had hand written a note on it to let us know what a 20 percent gratuity would be, however, she calculated it on the full amount including tax. This might have simply been that she has never been trained that gratuities are calculated pre-tax.
A great way to celebrate the anniversary !! Great Brunch, Great Service !!
excellent buffet/brunch and attentive service
good service from time we met the valet parking attendant until we drove out
excellent selection of food- something for every one in our party
Service slow. Very busy with not enough help. Bottle of champagne lukewarm. Could not get attention if waiter to take care of it. Ordered Ahi entree and Ahi was ice cold. Again unable to get attention.
Our waiter basically ignored us in our opinion. Reservations had been made well in advance too.
We were seated adjacent to group of 6-8 diners with screaming and crying children. Awful! The large group behind us were very loud like they were the only ones in the restaurant.
The waiter spent his time at other tables as he walked by our table several times not checking with us as the evening progressed on.
The food is good but the management needs to check on their wait staff.
We have been to this restaurant several times and about 50% of the time we end up with wait staff that is aloof.
It was the perfect place for a birthday celebration for a good friend... delicious food and drink, most attentive and friendly wait staff, and delightful birthday surprise. Scott’s has remained consistently excellent through the years in warm and beautiful surroundings.
Scott's is known for its seafood. Each month has a theme and we usually go in October for their wonderful lobster Thermidor. I had Dungeness crab pasta which a loads of cheese and fresh crab. My wife had an outstanding salmon entrée. Not inexpensive, but worth it for a special occasion.
Our party of two enjoyed a traditional seafood dinner of poached salmon entree and the mixed seafood salad, each of which was very fresh and shared. The kitchen did a nice job splitting each dish for us—the half portion of salad (high quality shellfish) alone was very filling. I’m a San Francisco native so I appreciate the classic dishes like they had at Fisherman’s Wharf. Our wait staff provided excellent service; even as we were leaving I casually mentioned that it was my birthday our waiter insisted that I wait a minute and then presented me with a rose!
The food was "not bad". The service was impeccable. Had Chuck as my server.
Had the Tuna, tasted ok.
Something didn't agree with the belly, had a few visits to the growler.
Key lime was nice and light.
I hosted a brunch at Scotts as a charity fundraiser, with contributors bidding to join me for a Sunday brunch. Alas, the cost of Sunday brunch at Scotts, now about $70 per person plus the mandatory tip for a party of 6, made this a more painful event for my bank account than in past years. While the food is good, the spotty service and relatively noisy environment take away from the value as a social event.
I have one more charity event that I already agreed to host at Scotts on February 10, but that will likely be it. They obviously have plenty of demand for the Sunday brunch, but it’s not working for me.
Brunch was very substantial and the Jazz accompaniment was particularly enjoyable
Biggest brunch scam in town. Don't waste your money. Overpriced and underwhelming.
