We went to Scotland Run for Sunday brunch to celebrate a birthday with family. The food was very good - cycled regularly. There was a good selection. We have been to Scotland Run for dinner several times and have always been very pleased. This was our first Sunday brunch, and it was just as good. A strong recommendation for a great place to eat.
Overlooking beautiful golf course. Sky divers too great atmosphere and fun food!
We love brunch at Scotland Run it’s the best
We chose Scotland Run for dinner as the food is always good and eating outside overlooking a beautiful golf course was available.
Three out of four of us had the short ribs entrée which was delicious. The meat just melted in our mouth. The vegetables that go along with it were excellent, too.
Service was good and the Happy House drinks and appetizer hit the spot.
Girls Nite Out seated outside overlooking the course. Happy Hour menu. LOVE the martinis and the entire menu especially breaded shrimp and wings and rings. Would highly recommend.
Our waitress was awesome ... food okay, ambiance GREAT
We had a 12:45 reservation for 6 people on Sunday June 17th. We were seated right away but processed to wait 15 mins for any service. Since we have never been here we did not know if we served ourselves or wait to put in a drink order. We were completely disappointed in the brunch selections! Everything was basic, and the omelette station was on the other side of the room with no plates so if you wanted an omelette you had to walk all the way to other side of the room to get a plate! My guess is that the people who work the omelette station did not set up the plates! The prime rib was good, but the server was very stingy with the slices as if he didn't want to run out so he wouldn't have to go and get another one.
Also, it was very hot outside and the air conditioning was not on.
The grounds and the views are spectacular! But I think the brunch menu should be upgraded. I understand that with that the price would go up but people who go to brunch at a golf course are willing to pay for a more upscale experience.
Fathers Day was wonderful at Scotland Run brunch. We had a great meal and a fun time
Good service and staff were very friendly and efficient. Made us feel welcome.
Lovely sitting outside. Nice music too!
We had an early dinner on Saturday on the patio we each wanted sandwiches I had the crab cake it was delicious not a lot of filling a little too much bread though with the roll so I ate it with a knife and fork and left the roll ...delicious three other people had Burgers all were cooked perfectly and the fries were delicious service was superb
I thought everything was really well done. The throughput for the buffet line could use some tweaks but wow, that brunch is a tremendous value.
We had a great experience at the Scotland Run country club during our small bridal shower we had with friends this service was good the food was good and we enjoyed our afternoon luncheon
Just a friends dinner , The food was delicious and the waiter was polite but forgot a few things but took care of it immediately. Will definitely return.
found dirty dishes, it was the same boring food, fruit was mostly melon.
We are never disappointed. My husband loves the Prime Rib and Shrimp special on Wednesdays and I enjoyed their new Chicken Caprese dish.
Servers were very efficient and pleasant.
One down fall - we ordered an appetizer to share and with in a minute of that being delivered to the table, the salads appeared. I felt I had to eat quickly for fear the entrée would be on its way out when I started my salad. Fortunately, there was some time (which we like) before the main entrée came out.
The food was delicious. The wait staff was conscientious and attentive. We had a wonderful time.
Just one suggestion-provide sugar free syrup .
The food was fair at best. The chicken and French toast were very dry, eggs benedict (which took extremely long to come out) were served on a biscuit instead of the usual English muffin. The service was fair and my husband got better service than I did. Our server would ask him if he wanted more water and my tea cup would not be mentioned although it was empty. Also his dirty dishes would be cleared and mine would be left on the table.
Nice place to eat... great music outside on Friday night.
Service was terrible. We did not receive our drinks until 40 minutes after being seated. My wife actually walked to the bar and bought our drinks and brought them to our table. The food, after we finally got it, was pretty good and the view from the outside seating was pretty. We will never go back though.
We were not impressed with the food. Don’t think we will be back.
2nd time our group of ladies dined heere for happy hour.
The atmosphere is good, as is the food and the happy hour prices. Wine good, drink was a little tart. The poor waitress had too many tables but she did fine anyway. We are coming back in June, so that speaks for itself.
always good service and excellent selection for lunch, dinner and sunday brunch
We love Scotland Run .. the food and service are outstanding!
Most enjoyable. Great Happy Hour menu with generous portions and very reasonable. Liked it so much we plan to hold our montly dinner there again next month.
Early evening Birthday Dinner. Food was excellent. Service was very attentive. We brought a cake that they brought out by surprise with candles and gladly cut and served to us. Lovely celebration.
Experience was good nothing above and beyond. Went for brunch with family for a birthday.
A great brunch. Lots of choices including an omelet and carving station. The deserts are incredible. Beautiful view of the golf course.
Dinner celebrating our daughter’s return from her training in the military! Every menu choice was delicious and presented beautifully. Our party of 8 was unanimous in their enjoyment of the food and beverage. Our server, Jeff, was very gracious and made our evening a real pleasure. We look forward to dining here again soon.
The food was amazing. The prices were good. It was clean and nice. Beautiful view of golf course.
Happy hour menu had some good choices and great prices. Food was just OK. Beautiful setting and good service.
We had terrific service, very accommodating, extremely nice wait staff. Highly recommend.
The Sunday brunch here is great. Came for dinner and it was mediocre. I will return for Sunday brunch but not necessarily for dinner.
I think the prices need to better match the meal you receive. While the entree prices were average, the price for the side salad and appetizer are a bit excessive for what you receive. I do not understand the $5 additional for a side salad when in most places it is included with your entree. I understand a slight upcharge for Caesar salad but I think $5 is excessive for that as well. The coconut shrimp appetizer was good, but not for $10. The value just was not there for the 4 you received. The shrimp were not even that large to warrant such a price. The crab cakes were good with real crab. Unfortunately, the rest of the dish was lacking for the price. Three grilled vegetables coupled with a small mashed potato was underwhelming.
The live music was so loud my waiter got our order wrong. There needs to be a happy medium, music level where it is enjoyable but we can still hear each other.
Well meaning servers but a bit inattentive.. 4 of us. 3 apps came out not 4. We mentioned this to the server and he acted surprised .. 4th app came significantly later.
Scotland Run is a lovely place. Their Sunday brunch has a variety of food options. No matter if you are in the mood for breakfast or lunch there is plenty to choose from. My advice is to go there hungry and leave room for dessert!
As usual, brunch was a great time. My only suggestion would be to list allergens on the food labels. There were not a lot of options for someone who is gluten free. But the service and overall quality of the food were wonderful.
enjoyed the food.small bar but good drinks with decent prices.noise level was high and with a one man band playing on a friday night it was even noisier.the happy hour looks good and will return in the next week or two to try it.
