Service was great. Prices are a little high for entrees especially because soup or salad was additional charge.
I took my elderly parents out to eat after 13 months of quarantine and am so glad I chose Scotland Run! We ate on the spacious patio where staff were seating people at least six feet apart. We were able to watch golfers as we waited for our meal. Food was well prepared and arrived in a reasonable amount of time. Our waitress, Juliann, was darling. My only complaint is that there is a lip on the door from the restaurant to the patio that made it difficult to maneuver a wheelchair. Otherwise, it was a lovely re-introduction to dining out in South Jersey.
We had a nice quiet booth. The food was very good. The service was ok.
I can see no reason why you cannot give separate check when requested ever other restaurant has this service
Great lunch and atmosphere. I highly recommend the outdoor seating
My friend told the waitress her drink was awful and the waitress said sorry about that , didn’t take it away or take it off the bill and my friend didn’t drink any of it. Thought that was very odd
Our meal was excellent, the food was terrific. Our sever Laura was so friendly, courteous and professional, she was the icing on the cake with our dining experience
There was a party and a wedding occurring while we were there. That could explain the slow service and lukewarm food. It tasted good and was cooked perfectly but it was lukewarm. I was disappointed since this was the first time I’d eaten out in almost a year!
Great bartender who was also our server.
beautiful scenery overlooking the golf course
amazing happy hour specials
Great weekday spot. Thank you!
Thank you. Had a lot of fun.
had a good experience there. great service and we were not rushed
We had a great experience at the country club. Food GREAT!!! Atmosphere wonderful, and GREAT!!! Service as always
Very nice! Food & menu is great... Bloody Mary’s are awesome!
Food was completely underwhelming. $40 steak had to be sent back not once, but twice due to it being undercooked. Meals that were supposed to come with asparagus were sent out with disgusting mixed vegetables with no explanation. Added a side salad to the entree for $5 extra and couldn’t eat it because it had bleu cheese crumbles all over, sent it back and was still charged for it. Also offering a pierogi appetizer at “market price”, hmmmm. Didn’t find out what “market price” was because at 5:46, they were out of them. Beautiful bldg, such a shame the food wasn’t good.
Bad weather night and you had 25 people cancel. I got your last serving of mashed potatoes and my wife didn't get any. Just as well as mine were luke warm and pasty. Also my steak was over cooked. My wifes shrimp were very good.
Great time! Food was fresh and the presentation was great, and dessert was awesome.
Enjoyed being at Scotland Run on Friday evening. Our service was excellent (Katie) and our meals came out delicious and at a great temp!
Food was tasty. Cooks were going back and forth, friends/people going in and out of kitchen. Wasn’t too reassuring knowing there were “people” other than cooks in kitchen.
Jason was very attentive. Our mid week outing was great. Thank you.
The food and service is always consistently excellent
We haven't been out much in the last 10 months, like most people I suppose, so we were really looking forward to this dinner. I'm thrilled to say it lived up to our expectations!! The service was excellent, the food was delicious and the safety measures definitely made us feel comfortable from the moment we walked in.
Scotland Run Golf Club's Highlander Pub & Grill is a great place to have drinks after work or to have a nice meal with your family. The staff is friendly and attentive. The food and drinks are good especially the tortellini and the chilled shrimp caprese. The atmosphere is nice too.
Eh. Just okay , felt like a hotel lobby but will try again during normal times, think brunch would be fun too.
We wanted to have a holiday lunch with a beautiful view and Scotland Run did not disappoint. Tables were socially distanced, waitress was attentive and food was very good. We will definitely go back.
Very very disappointed. It was Xmas Eve we had a reservation and upon arrival seated in bar area and handed a “lunch” menu and told Xmas Eve menu was from 4-8 PM only. Our reservation was made a month ago for 3 PM and we had not been informed prior. They could have made an exception for the three of us but didn’t offer so we sadly left.
In a covid world we felt very safe eating indoors. Food and staff were excellent. Beautiful view of the course while we enjoyed a holiday lunch
We all enjoyed our dinner. Drinks were good too. Service was good.
I was amazingly surprised with the food. I have been there before a few months ago but the new menus items and how great the food was...... I definitely will be back again soon.
All the food, especially the Sheppard's Pie, was good though I'd say the salad was just average. Atmosphere was comfortable with nice decor but the lighting was too bright. Felt a bit like we were on display. Especially with the nice Christmas lights, having less lighting would have improved the ambiance.
I took my mother to lunch at 3:15, we were the only ones in the restaurant. It was so quiet we could hear the staff in the serving area talking about us. Completely inappropriate!
The waitress was a drama queen and at best, mediocre. You would think the service would be excellent because we were the only ones there, it was not.
The food was cold. The waitress told Chef Mike, who said it was suppose to be served cold.. Chef Mike must have been a short order cook at McDonalds!
This place has really gone down hill and we will not be returning!
We remember your visit & we apologize for how you felt about your experience. Your main complaint was that our crème brulee was cold. That is how it is traditionally served, although we do realize some places may serve it warm. Chef Mike came to personally remedy the situation & offered you another dessert but you refused & insulted him. We don't appreciate insults to our staff who went out of their way to help. We wish you the best in your future dining endeavors but please remember to be kind.
Food was delicious and server was very nice and attentive!
Service was great, bartender made excellent drinks .
Delicious food. Great service. Only complaint is the dining room was drafty.
Always a great place to eat
Eveything was great .
Social distancing was excellent. Food and service was excellent as well.
Loved having lunch with a dear friend on the back patio. It was a beautiful warm November day, the food was fabulous and the service was friendly and perfect.
Great place with a great atmosphere and menu. We often visit Atlantic City Country Club and love it there and this is same ownership so expectations were high and met. Thank you!
