Here you'll enjoy a neighborhood tavern atmosphere, delicious menu and hearty portions. The extensive menu offers over-stuffed pub sandwiches, mouth-watering steaks, delectable pasta and seafood dishes and more including upscale, gourmet chef specialties daily. You'll even find authentic Scottish dishes such as Shepherd's Pie, Fish & Chips and Chicken Pot Pie. The Highlander offers an outdoor dining area like none other. The expansive patio over-looking the course is the perfect place to enjoy a drink, have dinner or just relax. And, with an extensive wine menu, diners can delight in sampling featured wines nightly. The Bar also features many imported and domestic draft and bottled beers. The house draft, Belhaven Scottish Ale, has been brewed in Dunbar, Scotland since 1719. The food was amazing and the lava cake was to die for. Service was impressive to say the least. I loved the OG burger. The only thing that was off was the bun on the burger fell apart quick. The burger was still delicious and I’d definitely order it again.

The Highlander was excellent. Food and service was excellent. Plenty of room at the table and prices were good. Highly recommend. Outside overlooking the golf course was a plus.

My granddaughter and I sat outside and enjoyed the beautiful weather and view. She has the cheesesteak and fries and I had the cheeseburger and fries. So much food neither of us could finish it. We each took home 1/2 our meal. The best burger and fries I have had and they were hot. Jordan, our waitress, was attentive and a definite asset to Scotland Run.
