Eh. Just okay , felt like a hotel lobby but will try again during normal times, think brunch would be fun too.
We wanted to have a holiday lunch with a beautiful view and Scotland Run did not disappoint. Tables were socially distanced, waitress was attentive and food was very good. We will definitely go back.
Very very disappointed. It was Xmas Eve we had a reservation and upon arrival seated in bar area and handed a “lunch” menu and told Xmas Eve menu was from 4-8 PM only. Our reservation was made a month ago for 3 PM and we had not been informed prior. They could have made an exception for the three of us but didn’t offer so we sadly left.
In a covid world we felt very safe eating indoors. Food and staff were excellent. Beautiful view of the course while we enjoyed a holiday lunch
We all enjoyed our dinner. Drinks were good too. Service was good.
I was amazingly surprised with the food. I have been there before a few months ago but the new menus items and how great the food was...... I definitely will be back again soon.
All the food, especially the Sheppard's Pie, was good though I'd say the salad was just average. Atmosphere was comfortable with nice decor but the lighting was too bright. Felt a bit like we were on display. Especially with the nice Christmas lights, having less lighting would have improved the ambiance.
I took my mother to lunch at 3:15, we were the only ones in the restaurant. It was so quiet we could hear the staff in the serving area talking about us. Completely inappropriate!
The waitress was a drama queen and at best, mediocre. You would think the service would be excellent because we were the only ones there, it was not.
The food was cold. The waitress told Chef Mike, who said it was suppose to be served cold.. Chef Mike must have been a short order cook at McDonalds!
This place has really gone down hill and we will not be returning!
We remember your visit & we apologize for how you felt about your experience. Your main complaint was that our crème brulee was cold. That is how it is traditionally served, although we do realize some places may serve it warm. Chef Mike came to personally remedy the situation & offered you another dessert but you refused & insulted him. We don't appreciate insults to our staff who went out of their way to help. We wish you the best in your future dining endeavors but please remember to be kind.
Food was delicious and server was very nice and attentive!
Service was great, bartender made excellent drinks .
Delicious food. Great service. Only complaint is the dining room was drafty.
Always a great place to eat
Eveything was great .
Social distancing was excellent. Food and service was excellent as well.
Loved having lunch with a dear friend on the back patio. It was a beautiful warm November day, the food was fabulous and the service was friendly and perfect.
Great place with a great atmosphere and menu. We often visit Atlantic City Country Club and love it there and this is same ownership so expectations were high and met. Thank you!
A Job Well Done by All of Staff
Particularly in these Covid Times
Love the place
Great food
Good spacing of tables
Feel safe with Covid issues
We have been there many times. We always enjoy ourselves. It's got a great atmosphere regardless of whether you're inside, in the pub, dining room or outside on the Terrace. Service is always excellent.
Lovely meal with friendly service, as always! Good value for the money!
It was excellent the food is always very good and so is the service.
I've always been happy with the service and food. They also make very good drinks.
I took my friend to lunch and we celebrated her birthday. It was great to get out and we had made reservations so we were seated on time. We had a great time and your staff followed Cova mask policy. They were every polite and did not rush us. We will be back again.
Very enjoyable meal and service. Only negative was the closeness of the table behind us .
We arrived a half hour before they opened and they were very accommodating. They went over and beyond to take care of us. Great customer service and great food!
Service was excellent with good food, a very nice evening out.
Scotland Run has become mine and my husband's favorite outdoor dining spot over the past 6 months. We've enjoyed indoor dining over the years but outdoor dining has been just as enjoyable. We love the view and the calm and serene atmosphere. We hope to be back at least once more before the cold weather sets in. If not, we will definitely be back next year.
It was an overall poor experience. For the price we paid I was hoping for good quality food but unfortunately it was sub par. The service was ok. We weren’t greeted by the host, she just grabbed the menus and walked expecting us to follow. We had mad a reservation for indoor dining but she took us outdoors and was perplexed when I asked for indoors. The waiter was standard, made sure to stop by avidly. The aesthetics were incredible and the facilities were very clean. You can tell time and effort is put into upkeep.
Scotland run never disappoints always a great Destiination for good food and hanging out with friends
Was a great night out ! We love it here and Jeff our waiter is the best ! We try to get him every time we go . The outside is very nice and I love to walk down thru the flowers .
Waitress service was just ok. She was very nice. We experienced long weight for drinks , asked for water 3 times , finally told I’ll have the buss boy bring it. We were right next to bar . No water refills went to bar myself to get. Never asked how food was came at end . Provides check did not pick up one item in front of us. I have had better service in the past , wasn’t busy but clearly she need additional education or perhaps this isn’t for her. We had pub food that said it was hot fries were not cooked.
Even with the new menu the food is still just ok:(
Great outdoor spot to eat a bite and have a drink overlooking the golf course. I hope they get heaters for the cooler weather as I will not be dining indoors anytime soon.
Overall a very pleasant experience however, we wish the server was more attentive as in refilling water and follow up for drinks.
Absolutely wonderful lunch with a friend! Love the patio view...food and service excellent!! One of my favorite places to dine!♥️
We sat outside it was a bit chilly but preferable to dining in at this time. The menu was a little pricey for dinner entree's so we settled for soup and sandwiches/burgers... both were good. My drink was a bit small and lacking alcohol for $12 (lots of ice), the wife's house wine was good. It wasn't very busy for a Sat night at dinner time I thought. My only suggestion would be to have a few outdoor heaters for the cooler weather many people are still wanting to dine outside right now.
I was expecting the food to be much better than it was. We spent over $200 for a party of four. The service was good and so were the drinks. I personally, wouldn't recommend this place for food. The steak was dry and over cooked and the burgers were slapped together and dry as well.
It was the worst dinner I have had there no bread no salad table was not in dining order it almost was like please eat your dinner and go. But the cost was even higher it was not worth 420 dollars for six I will never waste my money there again. Tom moore
Food was 7/10 .. service was poor .. initial greeting nice and cordial .. follow up horrible ... nice ambience and setting .. last two times below expectations
Love the food here. Beautiful view of golf course
