Arrived to no one there. Location open and saw oven on but not a single worker. Walked in, moved a cart blocking doorway and said hello several times to no acknowledgement or anything. Very disappointing that we booked a reservation and yet couldn’t even enjoy and had to scramble to find another restaurant open who could accommodate us. Why would you allow reservations if you are not fully open or even going to have staff keep an eye on their walk ins/reservations as they do their assigned work?
One of the best pizza in Boston. If you want something less usual, try their prosciutto and fig pizza, you won’t be disappointed.
My review is not on Scopa, but on OpenTable. The restaurant is CLOSED.
We sat outside which was a nice atmosphere on Hanover Street. Food portions were very small for price. A glass of wine was listed at $8 on the menu and waiter tried to charged us $13 per glass. We made him get us a menu and he asked me to do the math on my phone and ended up charging us correct price. Very strange situation all together.
Excellent chef with super choice of wines, aperitifs, pizza, pasta, chicken, no desserts menu
My friend and I sat by the window and had the best time! The service was incredible and our waiter Roberto was so thoughtful. The food was DELISH. I would HIGHLY recommend.
Good food, good ambience, and not as crowded as some of the other Hanover street places.
Didn’t have any record of my reservation which didn’t start things off well. Server must have been new - more of an order taker and rushed (very different fr previous experiences at this restaurant). Quick to let me know about corkage before even greeting us - not friendly. Desert (doughnuts) cake out under cooked and doughy sent back and other desert took over 35 minutes. Not a good finish to the evening.
This place is tiny! They completely overbooked for Valentine’s Day and left couples stranded in their 8x8 closet entrance while the one server frantically ran around and was totally overwhelmed. Very poor management considering all reservations were booked in advance. Some couples waited over 1.5 hours past there reservation time.
Can’t give any good rate to Scopa because when we arrive at the restaurant they over booked and did not honor a reservation that was made two weeks ago.
Scopa offers takeout which you can order by calling the restaurant at (857) 317-2871.
Scopa is rated 4.2 stars by 10 OpenTable diners.
Yes, you can generally book this restaurant by choosing the date, time and party size on OpenTable. Due to local restrictions, this restaurant may not be accepting reservations at the moment.
