Scoozi began solely as a pizzeria and soon expanded our menu to include Italian-American dishes. With this expansion Scoozi took off and gained a strong following quickly. Since then Scoozi has had a reputation for our fresh food and delicious Sangria. Scoozi is known for our delicious fresh salads, panini, pizzas, flatbreads, burgers and of course homemade bourbon marinated steak tips, all deserts are made in house, Scoozi has over 130 seats, our bar has 17 beers on tap (mostly local & craft style) also try our original margaritas and cocktails, we have a cozy lounge perfect for gathering with friends or reading a book in the mornings, also perfect for birthday parties or lunch meetings and of course the 50 seat outdoor patio.     I'm going to chalk this up as a bad one time experience. The food was just ehh but the service was really not good. There were only five parties there while we were there. It took us 10 minutes to place a drink order. Staff seemed distracted and attending. There were french fries crushed up into the rug. The tables were not clean. Really missed out on some basic stuff. As BU employee, I'd like to be able to go here but would really hesitate to go again.

    Food came OUT very late was cold. Can NOT serve cold food....the fries were not cooked and very cold, difficulty making drinks and ordering drinks..... The ciabata steak and cheese was NO STEAK at all would have NEVER put it on a plate. very disappointing will NOT go back again!

    We thought we were going to experience great food before we hit a concert at the House of Blues. The food here was mediocre at best. We won't be stopping back in here. The reviews were all 4 star, so we were expecting more.

    Where do I begin? Busy night, concert at Fenway around the corner, so clearly understaffed. It took forever to be greeted once we were brought to our table, food took forever and was dropped off without silverware, two of our three entrees came out first to the point where those two people were eating slowly and were still half done with their dinner before my dinner came. As far as the food went- the entree salad was decent, the cold turkey panini had to be repressed and came with what was clearly the bottom of the bag of potato chips, once my (presumably rushed) undercooked turkey tips arrived the plate was missing the salad it was supposed to come with and my sweet potato fries were mostly just tiny well-done partial fries. No one ever came to check in once the third entree arrived so I ate the smallest and most thoroughly cooked pieces of turkey and left the pink gummy pieces untouched. If we hadn’t been in such a rush to get to the concert we would’ve brought more of these issues to someone’s attention but as we proactively handed our server our credit cards so we could leave asap, I nicely pointed out my undercooked and inedible meat and was told “sorry but there’s nothing I can do, remind us next time and we’ll give you a discount” ... oh trust me there will never be a next time.

    Visited before a Fenway concert. The service was non-existent. We waited 30 min to see a server and over an hour to get any drinks or food. I had made a reservation weeks before and was still pushed to outside seating because “other diners were still sitting”. Service was awful even though there seemed to be few people at the restaurant. Once we got food it was good.

    We arrived a few minutes early and were seated right away. It took 10-15 mins before the waiter acknowledged our presence and another 10 mins before he came to take our drink order. We were eating there because we were attending a show nearby later that evening. Once he finally came for our orders he was very hard to understand. The food started coming out and we quickly realized that my daughter did not have her meal. When we inquired the waiter said it would be 5 more minutes for a burger. It became clear very soon that he never placed her order as 15 mins passed before he came back without her meal. She asked if she could at least have the fries that come with her meal but that took another 10 mins or so. My daughter’s friend asked to speak to a manager about it. When he came over my daughters friend asked for her meal to be comped. The manager was extremely rude saying that they were very busy. Never once did they apologize for her missing meal. We will never eat at this place again and wish I could have given them negative numbers for a score. We realize that the area was busy due to the show but had they been honest and apologetic about her missing meal we would have been reasonable.

    Came upon this place by accident and was pleasantly surprised. The menu was huge, food was good and our waitress was so helpful and attentive.

    Their website said that there was trivia on a given night, we brought a bunch of friends there for trivia and then there was no trivia and they had no idea what we were talking about when we asked. It was very disappointing. We would have stayed and maybe even returned if there had been trivia, and we wouldn't have been as upset about it if the website hadn't been wrong (we triple checked). I would recommend that in the future they keep the website up to date so as not to disappoint and mislead patrons!

    Overall the food was great and the Pear Cosmo was delightful. Our waiter seemed pretty new still and a little inexperienced, but courteous.
