Founded in 1965, Scoma's Seafood Restaurant is located in the heart of San Francisco's Fisherman's Wharf. Family-owned for three generations, our iconic waterfront restaurant is famous for serving the freshest seafood from pier-to-plate. An award-winning bar program includes an extensive wine list, local microbrews, and expertly crafted cocktails. For nearly 60 years, locals, visitors, politicians, athletes, actors, singers, and heads of state have been frequenting Scoma's for its old-school hospitality, delicious seafood, spectacular views, and impeccable cocktails. Located on a working pier, Scoma's has its own fish receiving station, dealing directly with local fishers for 100% sustainable seafood.

    We had two nights in San Fran and had made reservations at Scoma’s for the first night based on positive reviews. The food, service, experience was so good that we made reservations for the second evening too. Two nights in a row still wasn’t enough! If you haven’t been, please go! You won’t be sorry.

    We took our dear friend to Scoma's on her 97th birthday. Scoma's was perfection. We hope to be back at Scoma's for her 98th birthday.

    It was our 60th anniversary when we went to Scoma’s. We took our adult children and everyone had a marvelous time. My daughter in law, who doesn’t like calamari, stated it was the best she had ever had. The chowder and the salads were a great hit. One of the best events was that our waiter found out it was our 60th anniversary and he presented us with some tiramisu and presseco! This made it an absolutely perfect celebration. We all live in the Vancouver area and vowed to return the next we were in San Francisco. Thank you for a wonderful lunch!

    Outstanding old school San Francisco Italian Seafood Restaurant. The Lazy Man’s Chopino is always amazing. The clam chowder is the best. The service was excellent. Please go and support this gem of a restaurant. You won’t be disappointed. Many other restaurants on Fishermen’s Wharf have closed. Please don’t let that happen to Scoma’s.

    Scoma’s is a S.F. tradition. Been going there since the 70s. Gus was our server and represented the best of table side service. Cocktails were generous and well crafted. Good is consistent and delicious! The vibe is old school but still hip after all these years. Al Scoma’s tradition lives on!
