Everything about our experience at Scoma’s was outstanding. This was not our first experience dining at Scoma’s- been going for decades- and, as usual, we had a wonderful time/meal…

If you are in San Francisco, and you want seafood, this is THE place to go. No trip is complete if I don’t have dinner here. The Ousters a la Scoma are to die for. All the food is fresh, and possibly alive earlier in the day. Excellent cocktails and wine list. Ambiance is old school Americana—think dim lighting and wood paneling. It’s classic San Francisco on the waterfront

Scoma’s is the last of the best of SF. Everything is just right for one of the 5 star restaurants in SF that are sadly few and far between. Incomparable is the best adjective to describe it hands down. The 4 of us felt it was the best experience in a very long time. Just be careful in the area. Use their valet parking as Fisherman’s Wharf is the sign of loonies running the asylum in SF.

It’s best to make reservations. We did for a table of 4 and were seated promptly. Ordered a cocktail before dinner which was excellent. We were not rushed to order dinner immediately. Once we ordered our meal it came rather quickly even though they were quite busy. Excellent service from the staff. Excellent food and cocktails. Highly recommend

No one prepares seafood and fish as well as the chefs at Scoma’s Fisherman’s Wharf and they get the highest quality! My shrimp cocktail was the sweetest and tastiest I have ever enjoyed. HUGE shrimp. Waiters are stellar and have been there for years. Management (especially MariAnn) are really talented). Parking valets are charming and careful with your car. No wonder this restaurant is one of the best in the US! Ten stars!!!

Great San Francisco restaurant. Although located on Fisherman’s Wharf, it’s not a “tourist trap” place with questionable food. We were there on a Friday for lunch and it was a mix of locals and tourists. Fish is always fresh and the sour dough bread is excellent. Great location on the water.
