Founded in 1965, Scoma's Seafood Restaurant is located in the heart of San Francisco's Fisherman's Wharf. Family-owned for three generations, our iconic waterfront restaurant is famous for serving the freshest seafood from pier-to-plate. An award-winning bar program includes an extensive wine list, local microbrews, and expertly crafted cocktails. For nearly 60 years, locals, visitors, politicians, athletes, actors, singers, and heads of state have been frequenting Scoma's for its old-school hospitality, delicious seafood, spectacular views, and impeccable cocktails. Located on a working pier, Scoma's has its own fish receiving station, dealing directly with local fishers for 100% sustainable seafood.

    Scoma’s is a S.F. tradition. Been going there since the 70s. Gus was our server and represented the best of table side service. Cocktails were generous and well crafted. Good is consistent and delicious! The vibe is old school but still hip after all these years. Al Scoma’s tradition lives on!

    When I first ate here in the late 1960s it was great. It hasn't changed. Fabulous seafood in a funky Old San Francisco location.

    A true San Francisco Treat (sorry, I hate to be trite but this fits the bill). The cocktails were excellent. Had truffle fries and fried calamari to start. My party of 5 had various entrees. All were loved. Our server was very friendly and took care of us! This was a two-part business dinner. The second was a short walk to Buena Vista for (you can guess) Irish Coffees.

    The food is good, still like the Sausalito location better for ambiance. Our waiter was excellent. Been there 20 years and took outstandnig care of the 4 of us. Will go back just to sit in his section

    I’ve been coming here for 40 years. The quality of the food is going down. The crab today was totally processed out of a tub. Not a single leg visible. Just mashed up white pieces. The cioppino soup sauce also tasted like it also came from a container. Sad. Al must be turning in his grave.
