Science Club restaurant has now permanently closed. Science Club is best known for being the downtown bar that offers a quirky environment along with an attractive scientific theme. The neighborhood where it's situated is home to some very unique places in town. This site is a must visit for all the chemists out in DC. One of the main reasons why Science Club got famous is because of its signature cocktails and quirky scientific décor. All drinks are served in beakers, along with test tubes and dry ice. One side of the club is pretty dark with a giant size periodic table hanging on it. Another wall holds a sketch of Carl Sagan. The menu is ideal for vegetarians since its all veggies. Science club also provides a number of appetizers. The Mediterranean Olive plate is one dish that's worth checking out.
