Don’t be put off by the shabby decor or the scaffolding; the service and particularly the food was exceptional and all produced by just one chef. First class burger, crab linguine and guinea fowl milanese. Very enjoyable. We will be back and we will recommend!

Really disappointed with such a lovely spot. The over priced ciabatta which is described in a luxurious way came with 2 bits of wafer thin ham, little bit of cheese and a kilo of rocket. Which took over an hour after being first to sit down and last to recieve. Really disappointed considering the price which I don’t mind paying if the quality was adequate. Even the pizzas lack a minimal amount cheese? You’re just paying for dough. -although tasty , you couldn’t help but feel ripped off, like Jesus, just put enough cheese on to cover the pizza, and maybe buy some quality bits of meet for the ciabattas? Felt ripped off , such a shame.

We arrived on time and had a choice of tables. We have eaten at Schoolhouse many times and they didn’t disappoint. The food from Will and Sam was awesome and the service from Lucy, Maisie but especially Penelope was second to none. Can’t wait to come back !! We would recommend it to all.

Very noisy indoors due to large table hooraying it up. As pensioners we would have been perched at the end of one table. So we sat outside in one of the two main seating areas under plastic roofing. It was very cold and wet and the wood burning stove which would have made things cosy was not lit which when the temperature is 11c and extremely wet was very poor indeed. Mains are around £20 plus sides so not cheap. The food was good though. I can see that on warm summer days and balmy evenings it would come into its own.

Such a lovely little place. Quite a small menu, but to be expected from a small venue. Everything freshly made and very tasty. Dog friendly inside and out, so great to go for a beach walk too.
