Taking over the old site of the Laundrette, School for Scandal still has the best bits of the old venue, which means they still have an outside terrace, double-height ceilings and windows, and an open kitchen with a huge clay pizza oven, but it’s been livened and brightened up with plush green and gold decor.
Dark green tiling and a gold worktop make up the bar, which is a focal point of the room, with a red neon quote above the lines of spirits and plants draped down from the ceiling. School for Scandal Manchester is just a 6-minute walk from Manchester Oxford Road Rail Station.
School For Scandal have live music from 2pm on Sundays with Dj’s playing every Friday and Saturday evening too from 7pm!

Food is a little pricey for what is it but choice of drinks and service is amazing. Would return for drinks but not food.

We visited School for Scandal for my Partners birthday, it was a Saturday and it being so close to Christmas there were a few Xmas do’s happening, non the less the food was quick and delicious and the wait staff were very attentive.

We had a great vegetarian meal, the Vietnamese tacos were amazing and the Vegan Tagine pizza off the charts. Great service Great night 👍

Great place would definitely go back. Only fault is the outside style seating either really cold or artificially hot with the heat lamps on. No happy medium.

The service was excellent and the restaurant is lovely (wasn't keen on being allocated a table outside, but they moved us inside on request). Cocktails and bar really good too. Wasn't super impressed with the food. It looked nice but wasn't actually that tasty. Still had a decent night, but wouldn't go back. Can get much nicer meals for same price or less.

Great menu and amazing cocktails, very, very reasonably priced. Service was slow and staff were inattentive however. Would go again but would hope for better service.
