Schonely’s 10 Barrel Tap Room

The waiter was the worst, he brought the WRONG drinks to the table but it took so long we just took them. The food was bad and their was not much of a choice.
Couple attending Trailblazer game. Good and timely service. Large portions, tasted good to me but wife disliked the Chile, actually I’ve had better too. Nice drink selection, Sinister dark beer was good, $12, more than I could drink. We’ve been there before, food much improved, the girl who waited on us is gem, others are not so efficient although better than 2-3 years ago, really sucked then!
The only reason I come here is because I have season tickets to the blazers. The concession stands have better buns. The wings are horrible. The buns are horrible. The meat is okay and the drinks are drinks. Not much choice. No, I would not reccomend
Food wasn’t great. Had steak nachos, burgers, and fish and chips. None were great. Just passable.
Good service. Arena priced drinks. $12 beers.
The food was horrible, although the service was great. But for the price we paid, the food was of poor quality and we left most of it uneaten it was so bad.
We like to go early to the games but I can no longer plan to eat at Schonely’s, only have drinks. We have eaten there fours times so far this season and every time their has been a problem with the food...either frozen or cold...for being the only sit down restaurant in the Moda Center it’s sad that they can’t provide better food...most people who eat in there are season ticket holders.
Our server is always nice, takes a while to get your drinks. Just plan on drinks when you go there....makes me very sad.
I love going before a game, but the hamburger is terrible. I keep thinking it's that time, but it's everytime. The bun is so dry its like powder. This last time it fell apart and had no lettuce or tomato. $16.00 for a dried out hamburger, no juicieness at all.
Staff was disorganized, food was not the best, took a long time to get service.
Lexis and the rest of the staff were friendly and professional. Of course the Schonz stopped by and was nice enough to take a picture with my mother inlaw. It was her 80th birthday and she was so tickled! 😁
My wife ordered her burger with a few order changes and they got it exactly right. Unfortunately I ordered mine with everything and it came matching my wife's order, but it was still delicious!
I strongly recommend, but get there early as they get very busy as game time approaches.
Our waiter was awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Not much to choose from. Didn't get what I ordered. Waited for a fork. Seemed very disorganized.
Very fun atmosphere. Bill Schonley greeted us. Very personable man. He was there with family members a couple of tables away. Our waitress Diane was very good and our bartender Neely is fabulous
Waited 45 minutes then was seated but game ready to begin so left without eating. got a pizza slice. have eaten there before and food is good. young lady that was ready to serve us was wonderful and very apologetic. To be fair, the people that were there before us , ate, and would not leave their tables.
Don't know what can be done about that.
We waited over 40 minutes for our food and then the fries weren't even warm
The restuarant was very busy, as expected. However, after our order was taken no one checked on us for over 1/2 hour. We were eating there because of the Trailblazer game, and it was getting close to the time for the game to start, so we flagged down a waitress and asked to have our food boxed to go when it was ready. We arrived at our seats to find my companion's burger and fries were cold and my salad had no dressing. Too late to have it fixed. Probably won't eat there again. ☹
They cut down the menu to practically nothing other then a couple of burgers and vegan options. This is a shame because last years menu was great. Service was terrible. Good chance it was because of opening night. Need to change the Menu A-SAP!
Despite having reservations, they made us stand in line.
We are seated 40 minutes after our reservation...then no service so we ask several times for service. Finally order is taken but after waiting another 40 minutes, no food is coming out. Game is ready to start so we tell them, put food in Togo boxes so we cane back after Q1 to get the food. Then they made a mistake on our order, gave us a Moscow mule instead of one of the salads. Frankly the place was in disarray.
This is by far the best place to eat before a Blazers game. Dr Jacks is a complete disaster, waiting times, ordering, delivery process. So, make your reservations here, enjoy a decent burger and your favorite 10 Barrell brew.
We had reservations at 615 the table was on time but the waiter was so busy we didn't get food or drinks till almost 7. We ordered another drink and it took 45 mins to get that one as well. The waiter actually had to go behind the bar and pour them. So we missed all the introductions very frustrating...
As one of the only places to sit down in the Moda Center prior to attending a Trailblazer game, as long as you arrive early enough, you will be served and able to finish prior to the start of the game. I always make reservations for 6:00 for a 7:30 game. We arrived at 5:50 and were seated by 5:55. It was 6:10 when I finally flagged down a server and said we were ready to order. Within five minutes, a server came by to take our order. I have eaten here over a dozen times this season and the service is almost always very slow. The menu is fairly limited and moderately priced considering where you are (the other sit-down restaurant, Courside, is much more expensive). The food is tasty and portions are generous. Food is delivered by the first available server. We did not see our original order-taker until he presented us with the bill. We were out of the restaurant a little after 7:00
If you have a 7:00 game, make sure you arrive by 5:45 unless you don't mind missing the introduction of the players.
Several issues popped up this time...made a reservation for a regular table but didn't get it and asked for a marguerita with salt and the waitress said that the bartender made the drink before she could tell him about wanting salt. Would have been good if she made sure I got the drink I ordered.
Would love to have a ew more low calorie foods on menus. Chopped salad? Other salads? Iceberg wedge?
Apparently Open Table wants me to write reviews only when I make a reservation and sit at a table in Schonely's. Normally I am alone, so, not wanting to take up a table meant for two or more patrons, I sit at the bar. No reservation necessary, so no review. On April 10, however, (the game where the Blazer reserves started (and finished) the entire game, getting behind early, then pulling together for a furious comeback for that magnificent win) I took my grandson to the game, made a Schonely's reservation, then was given the opportunity to write this review. As always Schonely's braced for the onslaught of a whole lot of fans descending on the restaurant, expecting quick service and good food so that they could reach their arena seats in plenty of time for tipoff. And, as always, Schonely's came through. Never have so many servers and chefs worked so hard, so intensely, so effectively to make dining a great experience in anticipation of a Blazer win. Always a pleasure to see Scott, Amy, Hilary, Becca, Hannah and Marcie who provide that welcoming spirit behind the bar.
Good pregame experience
One of us ordered a hamburger. On the hamburger was the end of the tomato. For the price you'd think you could get a good part of the tomato. I ordered the fish and chips. They told us the kitchen was behind it would be 15 20 min. So I told them to forget it. But the table on the side of us got there fish and chips and I ordered first. So I told them about that. Just got a smile and look like o well. Serve was poor. Had about 2 or 3 people waiting on us. No one knew what the other person was doing. When canceling my order they didnt even ask if I'd like anything else. I was the one who recamened this restaurant. Very disapointed
Fun - great game - both teams played hard!
We had a group of 6 for a Blazer game. Getting the reservations was a tough process, but the food was very good (except the cod fish and chips were more greasy that crispy), and the service was good considering the pre-game circumstances. Will definitely do again.
The menu items continue to be low end. Heavy breading on all deep fried food. A 2 star place at best.
Great place just slow service which is hard given you are there for a scheduled game.
Some servers are great and say things like "hey the game is getting ready to start, would you like your checks now?" Others don't come around after getting your food and you end up tracking them down.
Great food and outstanding service
The pastrami cheese fries were terrific, "I want more!" The burgers and sandwiches tasty, but were pretty small for the high price. It seems like other places are serving up really good juicy and flavorful burgers these days. S10B is behind the curve. Service was friendly, but it took a long time for our food to come out, thirty minutes. Still, if you are looking for a spot before a game, and you can arrive early, this is a good option. I will probably give it another go, especially because of those pastrami fries.
Luck of the draw I guess, simple burger and tots ordered, tots were Luke warm at best, top bun on burger was nearly still frozen. Salad was very good. Waited awhile to get check. Still a very good alternative to same old concession food.
Super for before the Blazer games. Recommend you get a reservation.
Enjoy most everything except they refuse to not overcook burgers. You could order meat raw and it is still well well done. Don't get it.
Made going to the game early with friends a pleasure.
We were late due to traffic. They still had our reservation we’re seated where we wanted. And the server was friendly. It was a good experience
1. Only reserved seating dining option at the blazer games. Wish there were more than one.
2. South end of the retaurant is near the entrance and is freezing cold. Balance the heat. Easy fix.
3. Wait staff is friendly and nice.
4. Food has been better in the past. They have regressed to a half step above what you can get at any of the walkup burger/popcorn stands around the concourse.
5. Hostess station is confusing. There is one big line but if you have a reservation there is no indication if you should be standing in that line or just walk to the front. When you walk to the front the hostess will say "oh you dont have to stand in the line if you have a reservation". But how would I know that? Make a sign.
Overall the general situation has been better in the past so seems to be trending in the wrong direction. But again, it is the only reserved seating option at the blazer games so they dont have much pressure to get better.
Lexis our waitress was OUTSTANDING. Food was as always; very good at a reasonable price.
Lisl is so efficient, tempting to ask for her on reservation.
As always, friendly, efficient service, good food. Dependable, too.
