Schnitzel & Co. on Eggert
The service was efficient and very friendly, the food delicious and was very fairly priced. I also like the fact that they have other activities (trivia, sing alongs) for something different.
My family and I really enjoyed the German food. Especially the brockwurst and bratwurst.
We were a large group and all the food was fantastic. service was great. everyone was friendly. Everyone's food came out hot and was enjoyed by all of us. We left fat and happy and we will be coming back.
Welcoming staff and excellent food. Why else do you go out?
Great family night out.
Everything was very good; but when I "checked in" on Facebook - it still shows Rizzo's Italian Res.
This is a very quaint restaurant. The food is German-American. Nice quiet interior with a decent beer selection. Prices are good and portions are substantial. Great place to go for a quiet chat.
I enjoyed everything. Except for some old family issues it was a good time. Staff was very friendly and cooperative and efficient. My grandson greatly enjoyed the rouladen and he's a chef. Everyone enjoyed their meals and the atmosphere and even the music were like a true biergarten.
Great place for German food. Always consistent. Good value.
The food continues to be excellent and the service is friendly. I am only disappointed that every time I go they are out of Spaten Optimator. I do not understand how a German restaurant cannot keep their dark, German beer in stock.
They did offer me a free beer to make up for the lack of the beer I wanted. That was nice of them.
Decided to take my grandchildren to a restaurant featuring German food that they had never experienced. All of them loved the food and enjoyed the whole restaurant atmosphere.
Our second visit with a different group of friends and everyone enjoyed it. All will return.
Great service and food as usual!!
We love coming here, as the schnitzel and worst are the best (according to hubby).
I ordered the 2018 menu and the pork schnitzel was very dry, the cabbage was excellent and the dessert was very cold almost frozen. My husband had a chicken sandwich which was good but his fries were terrible, the potato pancakes were ok. Overall I was a bit disappointed I had gone to the Transit location and was not impressed. I was hoping for it to be better since it is close to my home.
Excellent food, and great service . Staff was pleasant.
Delightful neighborhood restaurant. Good German food; prompt service
The occasion was Restaurant Week. The staff was friendly, though it was pretty busy and the food seemed to take a long time. The food was delicious, though not all was hot when served. I think I’ll go again on a regular night and order off the menu. You would be hard pressed to find a menu like this elsewhere. Delightfully different. The background music was quiet enough to hold a decent conversation, which I appreciate.
We liked our chicken schnitzel, but were disappointed in the sides. The green beans were canned, with added bacon. The sweet potato pancake was not as sweet as I expected for being a sweet potato. The dessert, Dutch apple pie, was very disappointing. It was not homemade and dry. We took our desserts home. There was a dollop of whipped cream in the container, but I added a little ice cream too as I thought it was that dry.
Snitzel breaded chicken tasted of oil only. Could not eat it. Carmilized brussel sprouts were so undercooked, hard, unflavorable. And, potato pancakes were plain greasy. Couldn't eat them. Have ordered this meal in past and was always excellent. I think maybe it was so busy due to Restaurant week and cook had difficulty handling this crowd. The upside, chicken dumpling soup was awesome!
we arrived on time, however after being seated we waited over 15 minutes and still did not have anyone come to our table to take a drink order or even acknowledge we were there. WE WALKED OUT AND WILL NEVER GO BACK
We took my Mom there for her 90th birthday. The food was authentic and delicious. The reuben, german potato salad, and potato pancakes were so good. And not like what you get at other restaurants.
I did mention when I made the reservation, it was my Mom's special birthday. I thought maybe they could have given her some ice cream or something for the special occasion. Many other restaurants acknowledge a special occasion with a small dessert.
Always fun to visit and enjoy great foo. Service this last time was not as great as previous visits, this is only a one time thing and we are dealing with people, no big deal. Food was great and we even had a manager/owner ask about our experience as we left. Nice personal touch.
Our waitress was vert attentive. The food came out hot and accurate. The martini I had was delicious.
Arrived shortly after opening, so it was pretty quite (week night). We were promptly greeted by our server. She was pleasant and attentive though out our visit. The menu had a nice selection , you have a choice of sides with the entries. Just make sure you leave room for dessert - the apple strudel was excellent!
We all enjoyed the meals. Delicious! Never disappointed here.
German/Swiss meatballs with potato pancakes were delicious! Would order them again. Dining room is very dark, but maybe that's German ambiance. Could use a little more light, for my taste. Food and service were great.
Excellent food, just outstanding. My husband and I will most certainly be going back again.
The flights of beer were fun and the food was good. Nice German decor.
The food was not as good as their restaurant on Transit.
Wait staff was patient with us as we waited (no pun intended) for the rest of our party...who'd gone to the Transit location! We were served seamlessly when everybody was together, and everyone enjoyed the wonderful food and drink. We definitely will go back!
We had a great experience there & will go back...We rec'ed our food quick & hot & delish
Food was good. Decent beer selection.
The potato pancakes didn’t hit home with me. Too thick and not like grandmas. The German potato salad was really good!
I may go back some day however not running back.
Great food & Service, our 4th visit, reservations made online honored each time, everyone left happy & full!
The food was reasonable but not the best German food; the Wiener schnitzel had a bit too much breading, the sauerbraten was nice and the best dish at our table. The apple strudel was very good. The service was efficient, unfortunately the atmosphere was too much like a bar.
Food ,service & price outstanding. Our waiter acknowledged, (per a note I left online), that we needed to catch a show at a certain time, and was on top of all our orders! I love this place.
Service was slow considering they were pretty empty. Food was good
Went with 2 co workers and My mother before a play. Waitress was GREAT...food was phenomenal and plentiful. It did not disappoint. I had the pretzel...which I shared. The Reuben roll, Brussel sprouts and pierogi....all amazing.
Excellent food and service
I want to recommend however the service was so horrible that it took away from the experience.... server was rude with a smile, didn’t acknowledge us for 1/2 hour and turned his back to my husband at least 3 times...... my food was good but cold and I was afraid to have it sent back for fear I would never see it again.... maybe if we went back it would be better but we left so angry that it may be a while..I always give people the doubt but our server made us feel like he was doing us a favor
Wanted to try this new location since we had already eaten at the Transit Road location. Pros: much closer to where we live. Cons: not as an extensive beer menu as Transit Road.
