Schlafly Tap Room
Schlafly Tap Room in Saint Louis, Missouri opened back in 1991, though its brick and timber interior makes it look much older. This brewery usually has between 16 and 18 hand-crafted beers available on tap.
Love this place. Awesome and a bit unusual food choices. A St. Louis tradition. But bring back the Rarebit Cheese sauce!!!
Great beer, food and service in a warm, inviting old STL building.
We each had a tasting, then chose a few to try that weren't available in the tastsings. The beer mussels, meat and cheese platter, as well as the white chicken chili were all very good, but the mussels were my personal favorite! The mussels serving is quite large!
We went for dinner before attending the hockey game. Our server, an African American woman who I think is named Aliyah, was excellent! We ordered quickly and were served promptly! The food was good and we were happy!
Good food. Good beer. For some reason even though they were not busy our server seemed to be ready for us to leave after our food was gone. We would have had another beer but she immediately showed up with the check and left without a word. Not close to closing time. Odd but I would go back as maybe she was having a bad day. I know I have.
Great food. Good service. A great family place.
Great Food, Friendly and hard working staff!
Fried green tomatoes were delicious, the ribs were ok, beer was good too, definitely a place to check out of you enjoy their brews. Service was excellent as well.
The food was fantastic! My husband ordered the mussels in beer and he LOVED LOVED LOVED them! Sweet and spicy pork rinds were amazing too. Coconut beer was a hit as well.
We've been to this location before and I found my Reuben to be drier than usual The fries were between crispy and limp, not the best I've had. The pretzels, as usual, were awesome. Overall, though, we always enjoy eating there.
Everything was great. The server was very personable and attentive. The food was delicious and the restaurant atmosphere was very welcoming.
The Cuban sandwich was delicious and the wings with the spicy mustard sauce are the best I’ve ever had. Great location and building.
Though the wine list is just offered to satisfy the odd wine-drinker (when asked about the wine list the waitress stated “we’re a brewery) the offerings by the glass were very good. We wanted the sticky toffee pudding and that’s why we went. It was as fantastically delicious as we remembered. Two of us could barely make a dent in it. It’s huge!
Great food and beer, worth a visit and you will likely come back often!
