Always a great meal when we go here! One of my husband and I’s Favorite restaurants in the area! Check it out!
THE FOOD HERE WAS AMAZING AND EVEN BETTER THE NEXT DAY. EVERYONE WAS FRIENDLY AND KNOWLEDGEABLE.
Our server, Amber, was excellent! Attentive, but not hovering; knowledgeable and approachable! And accommodating! We shared our main course and she had it split in the kitchen, so we didn't look like the Clampetts, haha! Food was fast, super fresh and delicious, and plated perfectly! Favourites were the scallops and the blackened Barramundi, and the bread pudding (oh my!)!! So all of it, really!
Wonderful New Orleans food and service.
Outstanding service and the food was amazing !!! Look forward to my return
I love this place, but the quality has gone down each time I visit. :(
Convenient Woodlands location, great seafood and wine pairing. Service impeccable.
Schilleci's was better than ever on Saturday night. We shared an amazing seared blue fin tuna app followed by main courses of barramundi and pan-seared filet. Chef David created both specials based on the fresh ingredients he was able to obtain that morning. Waiter and Somm Ben paired these offerings with a beautiful bottle of 2015 Puligny Montrachet, which we enjoyed through a huge dessert trio of cheesecake, key lime pie, bread pudding and beignets. We look home enough food for 3 more meals, plus desserts reminding us of another great evening on Market Street in The Woodlands. We will return!
Food and people are amazing. Can’t wait to come back.
Superb in every respect. Service was flawless. Food delicious. Just lively.
A great little restaurant in the heart of the Woodlands. Having lived in New Orleans, I not only love the cuisine I am a bit critical when places ‘don’t get it quite right’. Schilleci’s gets it right. From the extremely personable service staff to the creative and innovative kitchen staff , this place makes for a wonderful experience. Start with a varied but limited fresh catch listing, add the means you want the fish prepared / accompanied and you have started a wonderful dining experience. Authentic, yet creative, appetizers / desserts round out a pleasant night of dining. This was my first time there and it certainly will not be my last. . . . Simply put, they get it ‘New Orleans’- right. Very high praise in my book.
Food was great and our server Jason was fantastic!
We googled good places to eat near the Cynthia Mitchell pavillion and this restaurant popped up. It was definitely an enjoyable experience from the exceptionally friendly and knowledgeable staff to the unique and extremely delicious food. It is a bit pricey but that's understandable given the quality of the service and exquisite food in addition to the location in the Woodlands.
Absolutely incredible dining experience. From the second we came through the door until we left, everything was perfect.
Had a great dinner with friends; everyone had great food; recommended wine was delicious and paired well with food. The bread pudding is delicious.
We struck gold with this find. On a whelm, we decided to have dinner here. It was great in every way. The food was AMAZING. The service was great. And the atmosphere was upscale, but relaxed. Not pretentious at all. We will defined be back very soon. It will be one of our regular haunts.
I was born and raised in New Orleans, still have family there and visit often. This restaurant is the real deal, the best New Orleans food I’ve found outside of New Orleans.
Saw it was 2-3$ signs but the dishes were price at 4$. I felt like the service could’ve been better since I asked for my water to be refill when dinner came out n I had to ask again before the dessert menu was served since none of our waters were refilled. If you plan on coming here it’s very similar in price of a Ruth Chris Steakhouse. The food is good but get ready to pay for it. We didn’t have any alcohol which I believe hurt in the service that we got. We had a appetizer, four dinners, one dessert, and four waters and our bill was $236.
Amazing food but the service wasn't great.
Consistently exceeds expectations! The food is always fresh. The service is phenomenal.
Our 1st time there. Was impressed with the service and food. Definitely going back.
Always a pleasure going here! We were on our way to an outdoor concert and dressed accordingly for 100+ degree evening. There were several other tables also with concert-goers who were similarly dressed. We were welcomed as we always are, and no raised eyebrows because of our casual attire.
Great food, great service, traditional hurricane is really good! The owner was there and he made us feel at home! Will definitely return
Basically a no frills southern/Cajun fish and seafood diner. It is exceedingly overpriced as neither the quality nor preparation are anything special. Waitstaff and management are cordial and competent.
The host was actually one of the owners. He was so welcoming and friendly. We walked in with tennis shoes and cutoff shorts, and we couldn't have been treated any better if we had walked in all in Gucci. The whole staff was great. Most importantly...they make the BEST CRAB CAKES I HAVE EVER HAD. Seriously a must try. Directly across Lake Robinson street from the Cynthia Woods Pavilion. I am going back very soon, with friends!
Our server Matt was great! He made excellent suggestions.
The owner stopped by our table a couple times to check on our meals.
Love this place!
What a wonderful experience we had at Schilleci’s!! Expert food and wine suggestions (all delicious!), personal touch, this place is a hidden gem!! Will definitely be back - soon!!
Overall food was flavorless. Bread and crackers a little stale, not freshly made. Gumbo lacked zing and fish portions were small for the price. My family had to add Tabasco sauce to everything to add flavor. Dessert was nice. Bread pudding was tasty as was key lime pie. Beignets were okay.
Excellent food, service. The lobster ravioli and crab cakes were excellent as was the cheese cake brûlée. Would recommend and will be back!
Superb food as always. Very fresh and beautifully presented. Service was a bit slow and inattentive which is an anomaly. I only which they would use white table cloths and had a full bar.
Hands down best food in Woodlands area. Staff and owner personally welcome you and make you feel at home.. one of our favorite places!!
My wife and I had a belated anniversary dinner on Friday July 6. She had the lobster ravioli after a garden salad and I had a cup of chicken and sausage gumbo and the blackened Barramundi with mango salsa; as I am allergic to shellfish, the waiter kindly replaced the 3 jumbo shrimp that comes with the fish with a side dish of mushroom risotto.
Everything was delicious and the Chablis recommended was very good.
A great evening.
Always great food that takes back home to NOLA. Beignets are awesome.
We had a great time. We were greeted promptly and led to our reserved table. Our waiter, Matt, was attentive and patient, even when one on the party forgot to make a request until the plate arrived. Without hesitation, he removed the plate and replaced it with the requested substitution. The snapper in lemon butter was very tender and flavorful. The host even took our picture out front. Good time all around. Would definitely go again.
We had been wanting to try them for a while but last time we couldn’t get in so this time we made a reservation. We were greeted by Wayne who is a family member, our service staff was amazing. Very knowledgeable, and the food was unbelievable. We will definitely be going back.
We all enjoyed our dinner together. The restaurant reminds me of a neighborhood restaurant in New Orleans as it has a neighborhood ambiance which we enjoy. Also, it’s so convenient to the events at Cynthia Woods Theater!
Trying New Things PAYS OFF!
My husband and I found ourselves "kid-less" one evening, so we looked on Open Table to see what was available for dinner. We were in the mood for seafood so we decided to try Schilleci's New Orleans Kitchen. And WHAT A TREAT! The food was AMAZING, so tasty and fresh. But it was truly the service that made this such a gem. From the moment we walked in the door, we felt welcomed by the owner and by our server (Ben) and appreciated by the staff. You can tell the folks at Schilleci's are happy to be there!
We took Ben's recommendations for dinner (I had the golden tile, blackened, and my husband had the lamb and scallops) and for a wine pairing and everything was just so incredibly wonderful! Excellent flavors, truly fresh ingredient and an extensive menu that I look forward to discovering MORE OF in the future!
Always amazing food and service!
