I was expecting more. The waiter seemed overwhelmed as we received our drinks after 3 other tables were served their drinks and even an appetizer that ARRIVED after US. I won’t spend my money with them again. Sorry. :(
Exceptional, as usual!
Overall it was an extremely enjoyable dining experience !!
Great. Food and service
Great food. Professional staff.
Love going here for special occasions. The food and waitstaff are consistently wonderful!
The food was great it was just the service. It was very unusual to have such slow service. They must have been short staffed. We will go back
This was my first time dining here. The food was delicious. I had the duck and sausage gumbo, it was all that and some. The seafood platter was huge everything taste very fresh. Great place. Make sure you make reservations, because the place is rather small, but wonderful. You won't regret it. A little pricey but worth it.
Great everything! Food, ambiance, waitstaff, location!
Great food, great service
We were thoroughly pleased with our selections for dinner as well as desert! I enjoyed the 12 oz buffalo rib-eye and my date, the lobster ravioli. Everything was cooked exactly as requested and tasted wonderful. For desert we had the bread pudding which was some of the best I've ever had, and my date agreed. Last but certainly not least we shared the crab cakes smothered in sauteed craw fish tails. They melted in our mouths! The wine list was great, as was the service. All in all it was a great dining experience. I will not only be going back but would certainly recommend Schilleci's New Orleans Kitchen to friends.
Great fresh food. Excellent service!
Celebrated my wife's birthday here this week. First time I'd ever been. Staff was very attentive. Food was fresh. Good atmosphere. We'll be back.
In visiting from Napa, California and went here with my family. It was an outstanding experience all the way around. Great service, great food, great atmosphere, and again, great food. I will definitely go back during my next visit to Houston. Thanks.
Went early on a Friday evening. Food was great. Service was really outstanding. Will be going back.
Had a great business meal here. Food was very good but the bill was quite high. We had a $40 bottle of wine and spent $195 for etouffe, jambalaya, one small gumbo and crab cake appetizer. No tablecloths. Restaurant feels like you are in a strip mall. All that said, I would go again on business but not on my own dime. This was convenient. I will do a bit less convenient if on my own.
Great as usual.
The food was great. Atmosphere was cozy and peaceful. Had a nice birthday dinner with my special someone for their 40th bday. Only con was that I reserved on behalf of his birthday. But, had not received acknowledgement from the server in regards to the birthday preparation I made prior to our arrival.
Chef sampler was very bland. No bar so mixed drinks are out of the question. The chef leaned on the counter the whole time we were there. The best part of the visit was the owners upbeat conversations with other customers.
Reminded me of dining in New Orleans.
Perfect gumbo. Scratch kitchen able to customize. Very tasty lamb chops and crab cakes. New Orleans here in The Woodlands.
I love this place! I came one weekend with my mother in law, and came a week later with my husband! Love the servers, love the food, love the overall set up. It’s very friendly and welcoming. I did not feel rush! I love this place, please check it out!
Love the personal feel of the this hometown fave. Not a chain...hard to find anymore.
Great food, relaxing atmosphere, friendly staff and excellent service. My family and I will definitely be returning!
Delicious food, superb service. The seafood gumbo is the best. Blackened Red Fish topped with crawfish etoufee was excellent as was the seared pork St Charles.
Wonderful meal with awesome New Orleans cuisine, fantastic service, great wine, and all made nicer by sitting outside on a gorgeous Fall evening in The Woodlands.
Great Service and Good Food. Space a little tight and a little noisy.
As always, the food does not disappoint! No need to go to NOLA for good cajun food. Fabulous fish and staff able and willing to help with wine selections.
Very Impressed with the food and the great service.
First visit and definitely won't be the last...
The food was awesome and a very attentive staff. I was really shocked when my wife slipped and fell when we were leaving our table. What made it even worse is not 1, not even waiter, asked if my wife was ok. They just looked away like nothing happened. Beware if you ladies wear heels the laminate floors are extremely slick.
Clever and inspired options. We had chicken and sausage gumbo and crawfish bisque to start, both really well done. For entree; fresh fish is brought in each day. We were delighted to see traditional creole and Cajun recipes paired with non-gulf fish. Everything came together very well and was a terrific dinner.
Had lunch here and loved it. There were three of us, and we had gumbo, jambalaya with shrimp, and jambalaya with chicken. And of course we had to try the hush puppies! Everything was absolutely delicious. Wonderful service, fun atmosphere. Thought about having dessert but we were all too full.
This is an amazing place with amazing food and great service! At each and every visit we’ve experience fresh food and quality service.
Save room for beignets! We had a lovely lunch. They were busy, but when our waiter couldn't tend to us, someone else rushed in to fill the void. The bread for my poor boy was just right, crunchy outside and softer inside. Gumbo was flavorful. Other dishes lacked a little spice but were serviceable. The beignets come in a generous portion, perfect for sharing - just don't wear dark clothes because you're sure to wear powdered sugar home!
We always enjoy our occasions at Schilleci's. The food is great, the fish fantastic. I love the choice of fish with choice of topping and method. Service is great. It's small, intimate and lovely. We also love sitting outside in appropriate weather. I hesitate share my pleasure - I love the ambience and coziness! But Schilleci's does deserve being bragged on. Well done!
Amazing options for the daily fish specials! Will definitely be back next time I'm visiting Houston! Service was beyond excellent!
Celebrating my wife’s birthday. Food lacked flavor!!!!
Fantastic food in a nice little New Orleans themed restaurant. The scallops were perfectly cooked, and huge! We enjoyed the barramundi as well as the shrimp jambalya. We are looking forward to our next visit.
The food is so fresh here! Very well seasoned as well. I can't say enough about how kind and personable the waitstaff and owner is. Best creole in the area by far!
