Our optional small bites ($15pp) are a great addition to your tasting experience with us. With a focus on acid, fat, sugar, and tannin, these simple vegetarian pairings will elevate your palate. Vegan options are available and while we love accommodating special requests, we are not able to substitute for nut allergies.
Well-behaved adults, children, and dogs are welcome! Children must be seated at all times or accompanied by an adult while strolling around the property. We ask that guests do not bring outside food though we are happy to recommend dining options around Sonoma Valley.

Vegan options are available - please note your request when booking your reservation with us. This experience includes a flight of 5 wines and small bites at $40 per person plus tax. We'll waive the $25 wine flight when you purchase 3+ bottles!

I had such a lovely time at Schermeister Winery for an intimate, delicious and memorable tasting for 1! The location is unbeatable -- I sat on their deck overlooking the river that ran on the side of the building and loved enjoying the peaceful ambience. The wine was delicious and I ended up taking a bottle home! The owners are incredibly kind and make you feel very welcome. Their dog Eli is also a plus :) Will definitely be back here again!
Love the outdoor seating near a babbling creek. Wines are lovely and the owner are a delight to chat with and personable. Eli (the dog mascot) was the highlight though. Friendly, but not pushy. :-)
Wonderful, intimate tasting experience that took place outside next to the creek. The tasting card with my name on it was a nice personal touch that made me feel very welcomed. I usually only like 1-2 wines at most on a tasting menu but my husband and I ended up buying 3 different wines!
A wonderful small winery. Great to have the winemaker and his wife pour the tasting. Would high recommend it, and will be back soon.

My group and I enjoyed our time at the winery! The outdoor patio and vibes were great. Rob and his side kick Eli were very hospitable. The wine tastes very good and we want to go back for another afternoon tasting soon!
One of my favorite places I've visited in Napa/Sonoma. We were served by Rob, the owner and winemaker and his wife, Laura. They were super warm and inviting and answered all of our many questions. I love that the wine is all natural fermentation and even though this requires smaller batches and a lot more risk, the end result was absolutely unique and delicious. Would highly recommend this winery to anyone passing through Sonoma. We visited on a 110 degree day and sat outside but still worth braving the heat. Don't forget to say hi to Eli, the winery dog!

Unexpected gem find. Beautiful outdoor seating at this boutique winery. The owners; Rob and Laura greated us right away. Very personable and friendly. Rob has a wealth of knowledge about his wines and the local wine industry in general. Everything we tasted was amazing. You can taste the craftsmanship in the wines they produce. The attention to detail right down to the personalized printed menus was a nice touch. Definitely coming back!
We can to Schermeister off of a recommendation from another winery where we are members; they believed we would enjoy Rob's wine. They were very, very right! Some truly sublime Pinot Noir, and one of the most unique Viognier (in the best possible way) we've ever encountered. Part of our party immediately joined the wine club. Coupled with a tremendously friendly winemaker, and Eli the (canine) head of sales, this visit was the highlight of a long weekend of wine tasting.

As residents of the Bay Area, we have been wine tasting in Sonoma and Napa for many years. Rarely am I impressed as much as I was Sunday at Schermeister. The wines are outstanding- the care and quality comes through in every sip. We loved each one- which is rare! I truly feel like we discovered wine worth a cult following! The owner/winemaker is very experienced and talented. He shared how each wine was made in detail. It was an intimate and beautiful setting as well. It’s off the beaten path but I would highly recommend it. We joined the wine club and I look forward to many years of fantastic Schermeister wines.

It was our first-time experience in wine tasting and it was great. The owner was very friendly, shared a lot of stories, and was interested in the conversation. My only recommendation would be to add bites packages for purchase or complimentary with wine purchase (they really helped to experience wine better for newbies).
The wine is amazing and the owners/wine makers are super accommodating and welcoming. Also Eli the dog does the Hula, so worth the trip just for that.
Absolutely the best winery experience I’ve ever had! It was so nice to be in a smaller-scale environment where I could actually taste and discuss with the owners themselves. A married couple operates the winery COMPLETELY by themselves, and are very lovely people. I will definitely be coming back when I can, and I can’t wait to buy more wine from this location!
Small, personal, and intimate, the owners generously accommodated us despite an incidental overbooking. Due to COVID-19, all parties were seated on the various outdoor porches surrounded by nature with beautiful sculptures and artwork. We enjoyed their sweet pup, Eli, as well as stories and conversations with Laura and Robert about their passion for their wines. Overall we had a wonderful experience!
