    The food was outstanding, has the surf and turf Valentine special for 2. A nice bottle of med red Italian wine completed it nicely. Service was a little slow because our server had tables at both ends of the dining rooms, it was acceptable but hopefully correctable. Overall Schafer's is one of our favorite restaurants in the Bigfork, MT area.

    The new club house is so beautiful! Wonderful place for date night. Our server was so sweet. They were very busy for Valentine's Day with so many couples coming in. Took us awhile to get drinks but they were great! The food was good once we got it. My husband had the steak and the demi glaze was delicious! I had the Salmon. I thought the rice was slightly undercooked but it turns out it was a cauliflower rice which has more of a crunch. The kitchen team made it right. We both really enjoyed our date night even with the setbacks. We will be back and recommend Schafer's to our friends!

    This was our second time to dine at this establishment. (See first review) We decided to visit again and try something else from the menu. Our server, Laura, was OUTSTANDING. The two servers we've had at this restaurant have been polite, patient and genuinely interested in your relaxation and meal. Laura recommended the appropriate wine pairing and gave us plenty of time to enjoy each course without rushing us. The Duck and the Salmon options were fantastic. The food is remarkable but the service was memorable.

    Courteously greeted when we arrived and seated promptly. Our server, a young lady named Jess A, was attentive and very pleasant. She did not rush us and actually encouraged us to take our time and enjoy the experience. The food was very good. The wedge salad was a new take on the classic wedge and it was superb and the mushroom soup was delicious. My wife enjoyed the sea bass special. I ordered the filet cooked medium rare. The steak was good but medium rare at this establishment is actually rare. Our server had the kitchen grill it some more which was appreciated but I would recommend ordering a steak from this restaurant with the understanding that it may be advantageous to order up a classification in order to receive what you actually want. The Huckleberry mud pie is outstanding. Overall, an enjoyable experience.

    Bradly was our server and he was fantastic as always. We each had the filet and I’m a bit particular about how I like it cooked and it was done perfect, so delicious in taste and full of flavor. We had an fantastic meal.

    A lovely dinner on a slow Autumn evening. The menu is not extensive but it offers something for almost everyone - including a vegetable a pasta main. Very nice wine list at a wide price point. The service was exceptional. Our waiter mentioned that he was fairly new, but he was familiar with all the dishes. He noted that we were taking our time and waited to put in our entree orders. We certainly never felt rushed or as if we were waiting on anything. That sounds simple, but too often appetizer or salad dishes are pushed aside when the next course comes. Good luck to Schafer's at this (fairly) new location,.

    12th wedding anniversary. We arrived early and were graciously sat right away. The dining area was very nice and clean. The the wine menu was great and priced fairly. The service was great and our dishes were timed perfectly. We will definitely be back.
