The food is great, the service is excellent, but the room is very loud.
Way too loud. Their other location was much nicer. Shame because their food is great.
The NYC location is my favorite Scarpetta dining room! Service, food - all excellent thank you! Look forward to returning!
Great place to share a special meal. Fantastic wine list and incredible plates to share, if you’re willing to part with any of the short rib agnolotti, which is a must have.
We asked to move table due to extremely loud party next to us. So accommodating to our request. Food and service was outstanding!!
Perfectly prepared Black Cod flavored with fennel. The Straccitella was bursting with flavors. The waiters were friendly and welcoming.
Coming from napa valley, it was a pleasure And met our expectations. Great experience
Great service but it was very loud, definitely interested with the experience. Food was good not great.
Was so wonderful! The service was excellent and the food was amazing! Coming back!
Food and Service at the table was AMAZING. Unfortunately, I found the hosts incredibly rude and not accommodating.
Same great Italian in a new bigger location. Always great food and service
The food was very good. We had a good experience overall. The last time was amazing, and the service was more pleasant. This time everything was good, but our server had a wee bit of an edge to him. He could be a bit curt and judgemental. But he was polite overall.
Way over priced and tiny portions! More of a French Restaurant than Italian. Don’t let the name fool you. Nothing authentic Italian on menu nor portions. Don’t mind paying for a quality meal but at least let me leave full! I ordered dessert just because I was still hungry! Appetizers of short ribs wasn’t ribs it was a slice as thin as possibly cut , 3 tiny slices. Total rip off!! Never never again!
Quality meal as always
Taking my daughter out before a Summer college program. My food was excellent, hers was fine. However, she is a vegan and the waiter came across sort of condescending when it came to making something special for her. It all worked out fine in the end, it was just the way I read the server’s attitude. This restaurant is not supposed to be a great vegan experience - I realize that. 3 stars overall, but again my food was great.
Loved Scarpetta. We went there for early evening dinner after a show at MSG. We loved the whole look and feel of the restaurant as soon as we walked in. We order the roasted cauliflower starter and it was very good. We heard the pasta was amazing, so we both ordered pasta dishes. I ordered the spaghetti with tomato and basil and my husband ordered the Scialatelli. I was little apprehensive when the dishes came out that we didn't order enough food, as the portions seemed small. However, it was the perfect size and it really was amazing. The pasta was delicious. I can never eat boxed spaghetti again.
We shared the twice baked lemon cake for dessert and it was so tasty and lite. Overall it was a great dining experience and we will be back on our next tri[ to NYC.
Best pasta I've ever had.
Service from being seated until the end of the meal was terrific.
Great food and fabulous service.
Who knew a simple tomato & basil spaghetti could be so delicious! The dish was executed to perfection at the restaurant. The sauce was creamy, delicious, and full of flavor. The cauliflower romanesco as a starter was also well prepared. Even though the food was wonderful, I feel the price-tag of $24 at lunch for a pasta dish (albeit exquisite) a bit pricey. But nonetheless, I would highly recommend this place, and maybe I'll even come back for seconds - probably won't deviate and explore other items on the menu though.
This was by far the loudest dining experience of my whole life - and we were there on a Monday night at 7:00. Not a fan of having to yell to be heard - and even then we were only picking up every 3rd or 4th word. Food was good - although my halibut was overcooked. Beware of the noise!
Very poor service the day I ate there. Kitchen was super slow and server messed up the orders.
Our 40th Wedding Anniversary could not have been better. Our server Lillie was off-the-charts WONDERFUL. Thanks to all!
Another delicious meal. We went with the fixed price menu: Appetizer, entree and chocolate biscotti and coffee for dessert. We started with the creamy mushroom polenta and bet salad, then the roasted chicken with the mezzaluna with zucchini flowers and anchovy sauce. YUM! Service was great. We even had a celebrity sighting. Will definitely return.
First rate service. Pastas were perfect!!
really loud. i wish i had known as this was a business dinner and difficult to have a conversation. food was good though.
Good food and good service
Wonderful service and the food was delish. We shared everything and it was all amazing - octopus, yellowtail, their famous spaghetti, rabbit cavatelli, branzino, the wagyu strip. They gifted us with dessert - twice baked lemon cake and the chocolate cake which was divine. Great wine recs, really great server, and the room is lovely. Location moved from near my apt to near my office. Lucky me!
Amazing. Ennio the manager the best!!
While we had to wait longer then excepted they did right by us and gave us complimentary glasses of Champaign and complementary appetizers!
Our waiter Craig was amazing and made the night. Food was great. It’s definitely loud so don’t expect a quite romantic night even though the place is gorgeous.
The dish was a little bit too salty for me as it is covering the flavor of the ingredients. Other than that, this place is amazing. The ambiance is idea for a date!
Very good experience.
Service and good were amazing!
Celebrating birthday- waiter forgot and I had to ask to remind. Food was just okay, not as memorable as I have experienced in the past. Just ok experience
Our experience at Scarpetta was just ok. We love Italian food and were very excited to check this place out at our friends’ recommendations. We had the spaghetti, rabbit cavatelli, and a ton of crudo and apps, as well as some cocktails and wine. The pasta was over cooked, the sauce was good, but nothing exceptional. The drinks were nice but again, nothing memorable. Our bill was >$800 for 4 people. I do not think that was worth it.
Always a great place to go for good Italian food.
Delicious! Bread basket was a surprise, excellent! Overall, really excellent all around!
Not same location. Has new owner. Was very hot and loud but food was still tasty.
