Overall. A very average experience. Drinks very good. Appetizer okay - Tuna tartare. Salad - Burata good. Entrees okay to bad. My filet ordered medium was well done. It was not what I had been recommended and was disappointed!
Ate earlier than we normally would but lots of empty tables, not sure why they didn’t show as available later.
Staff very attentive and friendly, food excellent if a little on the small side. A large number of very expensive wines offered but found a decent champagne at a reasonable price.

Scarpetta was an amazing restaurant! From our wonderful server, Laura, to the food and the ambiance. Our server Laura made the experience special. We actually wanted to come back the next night but they were already full. I suggest making reservations a week ahead of time at least.

My wife and I enjoyed a beautiful Valentines dinner at Scarlett with the prix fix menu. We both ordered the ribeye and truly enjoyed the flavor and the overall experience.
It was my Birthday and it was very special. The food was amazing !!! My waiter Ryan was the best and meeting the chef Valario was the highlight. Wonderful!!!!

This is the third and last time eating at Scarpetta. Every dining experience has had an issue, whether lack of attentive service, long waits between courses or just improperly prepared food. This restaurant is resting on its laurels and needs a reset top to bottom

This is consistently the best Italian restaurant I've ever been to, the spaghetti, short rib agnolotti and foie gras ravioli are to die for.
No Music on patio was very disappointing): I actually have dined main times & brought friends so normally yes I would recommend to a friend, unfortunately this time your equipment was not working.
Allow me to preface by saying that our experience at Scarpetta in NYC was absolutely amazing; 5 star hands down. The food, the ambiance and the service were top and we felt it was one of the best meals we’ve ever had. We especially remember how great the focaccia was at the beginning of the meal.
Unfortunately, Miami did not live up to this standard. It might have something to do with them having been closed for so long due to covid, and just reopening not too long ago.
We tried 5 dishes, and enjoyed 1 out of 5. The pomodoro spaghetti was the best dish on the menu. The others fell extremely flat. The polenta was much too liquid, almost had no substance to it at all. The octopus was very basic, didn’t hand much going on. The short rib ravioli was just so salty, and a combination of flavors that didn’t combine well on the tongue. And most disappointingly, the broccoli rabe - barely blanched with which dollops of anchovy cream that was a little off tasting.
Aside from the food, our waitress was very nice but not as attentive as you would expect. I was accidentally given a dessert fork to eat my pasta with, and it took me forever to get someone to bring me the right fork.
Our bottle of wine was nice... but it was kind of confusing navigating the wine list through the QR scan code menu.
The restaurant is beautiful though, and so are most of the people that dine there.
We had such high hopes for this visit, and were sad to leave disappointed.
The building restaurant area is beautiful. The food quality fair,portions small. Appetizers cost more than the entrée which was a little annoying when we received the bill. The portions for the duck comfy small. I would compare them to an appetizer portion. My recommendations would be to try one of the other restaurants in the complex at the hotel or to go out to one of the many restaurants throughout South Beach. I have no recommendations as to what is really good on the menu as the items I tried were unsatisfactory to my palate. We went back to our room and ordered delivery. It was delicious.

If you enjoy truffles this is the restaurant for you. I do not and was unable to get anything that did not include truffles of some sort. I finally decided on steak since this was the only thing I could get the truffle au jus on the side. The portions are very small and the steak was “just Okay.” Honestly, could have prepared a better steak and tablespoon of potatoes at home. Even the asparagus was disappointing. Do not recommend!!

Dined with my wife as one of our honeymoon dinners. The sommelier suggested a great bottle of red to pair with our meal and the both the food and presentation was outstanding. We loved our corner booth. Dessert was delicious and we were very pleased with the experience.
