Terrible experience, my girlfriend had a plastic object in her meal, tuna appetizer had no taste, atmosphere is terrible, hound children laying down on long booth seating, felt like I was at IHOP, will never go back

Tasting menu was good but timing was way off. Portions were larger than they should be for a tasting menu (translate: we were stuffed by the end of the meal), but were very tasty. Biggest problem was that the entree took 30-40 minutes after the prior course. Too long. The manager was very apologetic and comped us our drinks, but it kind of killed the experience. Like many Miami restaurants, having automatic gratuities included in your check seems to result in poor customer service.

This was our most favorite(and expensive) family dinner on our vacation!
Loved the waiters attention to the kids and us. We chose fabulous wine and indulged with the kiddos:)

Terrible service. Our food took over 70 minutes to come and was served as we were about to get up and leave. For our troubles, the waiter gave us an extra pasta dish (....?). He did have time to tell his life story about being from Italy to the table next to us (who he wasn't even serving) yet forgot to put our order in. And then ran away and had another waiter attend to our table for the rest of the evening. The restaurant decor is confused, as is the service. Price point is fair, assuming your food ever comes. Food was good for the most part but grilled octopus was rubbery. Go to Baoli instead.

Food was excellent , but it took almost 55 minutes for our main dish to come out. Yes I know this was Valentine’s Day but they should of told us that they were running behind before we order the food.

Alway consistent from service to food. We have been coming here for several years and this is one spot we always try to visit. It can get noisy but everyone seems to be having a good time.

Great dinner.
For Valentines Day they were offering a special menu.
Plates are well presented and tasting wonderfully.
Everything was good.
It was a good experience.

Went to celebrate my birthday with the family. The pastas are outstanding. The Bronzino was crispy and delicious. They have a nice wine list.

I was in Miami for work and friends were traveling through coincidentally the same week. I was able to get a reservation with pretty short notice. The atmosphere was beautiful. The food was delicious and just the right portion size. I would definitely come back again.

Very noisy and staff was moving at a frenetic pace. Pace seems to be set by floor managers who looked nervous and unfocused. The speed that the all of the staff moved was really unnerving, unpleasant and distracting. Our server acted anxious and in a hurry when taking orders. Drinks took a long time as well as the entree.

We were really excited to try this place for my 40th birthday on vacation here in Miami. We arrived early for our reservation and sent to the bar because they were not ready to seat us in an EMPTY dining room where tables were preset. That meant spending an extra $20 at the bar for two drinks. After being seated we got what we thought would be a helpful, attentive waiter. He was helpful in choosing our courses or at least approving of our choices. The sommelier was helpful as well in choosing a bottle of wine. Modest by thr wine list prices, but rather high for my budget. Still it was my birthday so I felt justified in a 2009 Rosso di Montalcino. Bread service came and was very tasty. The wine was perfect and our two appetizers were delicious. One was an octopus dish and the other scallops. Between this course and our main we had an arugula salad they split for us. At this point the dining room filled up and our team of two waiters began to focus there attention elsewhere. Water service was slow, began pouring our own wine and waited awhile between salad and main. My wife's Lobster tagliatelle was very salty. No one checked back after delivering the main course. Waters were empty, my food was finished and we waited. Our table was cleared except for the wine. We had to flag someone down to get offered a dessert menu which was banal and the server who was so helpful before was dismissive. We asked for the check, it took ages to come and then ages to return. All in all very disappointed in a meal that was expensive with an autogratuity. No mention of my birthday even though I added it to my open table reservation. So I think Scarpetta falls short of my expectations of chef Scott Conant.

Management and staff go above and beyond to satisfy and attend to everyone. We had a minor issue and it was immediately resolved so a huge thank you to the management. The food is amazing! We come back time after time and Chef never disappoints! I would definitely recommend this restaurant for any occasion.
