Gill our server was outstanding. The food was excellent. Definitely try the handmade pastas.
We have dined at Scarpetta many times as we live in Miami and often bring visiting guests there. This time, although the food was excellent (as always), there was a definite disconnect in service and meal timing. Our steak special came at least 20 minutes after the others pasts dishes. Duck and foie ravioli was supposed to come as an appetizer course and instead all the pastas mains came out (for 2 in our party) and were left at the table with cloches on and server walked away. Several minutes before our waiter came and removed them and went to check on why this happened. When steak and side did come our, I had no fork and no spoon was placed for the side dish. Again several minutes before waiter came to address this.
This was not the typical level of service we had experienced in the past at this price-point. 4 stars for experience based on quality of food only.
The “porch” were we had dinner felt like a cafeteria. There were large glass sliding doors that they can not open, even on a beautiful night ( which it was, our last night of our trip)
With Scott Conant’s name attached I was hoping for better
Nice atmosphere, food was tasty, small portions, the cauliflower app was tasty but cold in the middle .I had the shrimp with gnocchis and for a dish that was over 30 dollars I expected decent if not large shrimp but I received popcorn shrimp, the size of a nickel.very disappointed in that.
The best! Freshest seafood, pasta.......everything!! The service is beyond fantastic, one of our favorites!!
Brunch was as I expected. Many options, Italian delights, and a quiet and calm atmosphere...However, getting to the hotel is a little busy, many people coming in and out and expect long wait for the valet parking...
The bread and appetizers (Octopus and Ceviche) were great. The food was OK, though not blown away. I think the food at Scott's restaurant in Phoenix, Mora, is far superior. Definitely a much better value.
Scarpetta is one of my favorite restaurants in the Miami area. I recommend the foie gras ravioli. It is superb!
Please never remove it from the menu!
Absolutely incredible service
Hostesses were great at helping to combine our 3 table reservation. My food was excellent, our waiter was excellent and wondered why I haven’t been back sooner.
Mala comida muy decepcionante
Nice ambience. Service was fine, but the food was mediocre. Fun spot for gathering with friends if you are not a foodie.
Food very good.
Bartender Ina great.
Overall experience very good.
They chArge $3 for ICE in your drink and don’t give u more alcohol. So the reason for charging makes NO SENSE
Best food we had in Miami Beach, service was excellent !!
Amazing experience. Great ambiance and the service was exceptional. Definitely a repeat
Service was truly seamless an excellent choice if you appreciate attention to detail!!! Pasta simply fantastic!!!
Started off great with appetizers and a generous bread basket. Arugula salad and Burrata were excellent. It took three requests to get refills on our wine. Dinner entrees were OK. The lobster pasta was excellent. My filet was very undercooked (medium was requested and one half was medium rare, the other was VERY rare). The pasta with clams was awful. Came highly recommended by our server. It was so bland. Completely flavorless. We were so disappointed we decided against dessert and headed home.
Food was terrible, not one of the four diners liked it. At this price point, food and drinks should be excellent but not the case. Service spotty and not much concern to try to work with diners to ensure their experience is top notch. Disappointing.
Service was Amazing!
Food was spot on and excellent for the most part. The gnocchi and mushroom pasta were amazing, as well as the arugula salad and bread! However, my wife’s steak was dry and slightly over cooked.
Dining at Scarpetta was a phenomenal experience! I've always wanted to dine at Scott Conant's restaurant and this most certainly surpassed my expectations. The food was absolutely spectacular and truly honored the beauty of pure ingredients. I would definitely recommend the saffron lobster pasta- positively incredible! Service was excellent with a refined yet energetic ambiance which made for a comfortable fine dining experience. However make sure to be on time. The scheduled time for your reservation is the time you will be seated. We arrived early and so, had to wait for our table. However, overall, an outstanding experience!
Food wa excellent. Surprised that our waitress did not have a clue what a kir royale was... but, its Miami Beach! Anything could happen
Truly creative plates. My wife and I ordered the tasting menu which is an excellent deal. The bronzino was every bit as good as the filet mignon! Our server was helpful and ensured that we had a pleasant evening. For what it's worth, they have a kids menu too which my daughter found pleasing.
We did the Chef Menu and it did not Disappoint! ❤️❤️
Ordered the veal chop. Was disappointed as it came cut up in a pyramid , and was luke warm with burnt broccolini. Also brought the wrong appetizer the first time. Waiter Ryan was apologetic
Sunday brunch was a great experience. Great food and service.
Ok ok porch seating, not the best and a different vibe. Misto salad was simply divine!
The overall experience was not worth the hipe. I had not been back to Scarpetta in several years even though I live on mismi beach. But I wanted to try it again. We arrived at 6:30 pm for a 6:45 pm reservation and were made to wait almost 30 minutes for our table even though the restaurant was empty at time. There were 4 different couples all standing around in the bar waiting to be seated and tons of empty tables.
After being seated, we then waited over 10 minutes before anyone came to give us menus. Not sure why hostess does not seat you and hand you menus at same time. The food was good but not exceptional for the reputation of Scarpetta. The sea bass, Branzino and cauliflower were good but lacked presentation. The special risotto with truffle shaving was excellent, but It was served almost 10 minutes after we were served the fish and we had to wait some time for the risotto shavings that came in a trunk to appear at our table. The deconstructed afogato tiramisu fell flat; it had little to no flavor.
There was a lot of staff floating around and talking but not always paying attention to the patrons. Lastly we found the restaurant very loud and not cosy even though we were sitting in a corner booth. Not a 5 star experience.
Food was delicious.Bread basket included .stromboli served with oil, eggplant (tender), butter w marscapone time choose for spreads. tagliatelle with lobster suberb. Chicken was moist and succulent. Both dishes filling Service was ok, not overly attentive to refilling water if you just got "ice water" or asking for another cocktail. Ambience is lovely. Was loud but could have been due to 2 tables if 6, which made it harder to hear a soft spoken waiter.
Very much appreciated the service. Food and menu was amazing. I recommend a reservation for this spot.
Fabulous dinner! We thoroughly enjoyed appetizers of creamy polenta and arugula salad and dinner of gnocchi, tagliatelle and short ribs. Desserts of piña cannoli, tiramisu affogato and apple bomboloni were absolutely delicious. Service was top notch. Definitely recommend Scarpetta when in Miami!
Had the famous spaghetti and tomato sauce and worshiped every bite. I don’t eat pork so they sent out bread with broccoli and cheese instead and it was amazing. Probably my 8th time eating at a Scarpetta and it’s consistent and superior dining.
Amazing! Get the duck ravioli!
Waiter wasn’t interested in our table and didn’t pay us any attention. Food took over an hour to come out on a Thursday night when our reservation was at 6:30 (not prime time) and might I say the food was sub par. I’ve been to multiple scarpetta locations and even this one a handful of times, but really wasn’t impressed with the service or food this last time.
I left the note that it was my husband’s birthday. They wished us happy anniversary......
Good good. Great suggestions from the waiter for dishes we may not of otherwise ordered but were delicious!!! Nice experience.
Great food and service.. highly recommended.
Good was very late, service slow and food subpar
Excellent wine list and food. The pasta is wonderful. My only issue was that too much salt was used. The staff replaced our sides, and never skipped a beat. Also, have a night cap at the bar. An overall wonderful dining experience.
