We were disappointed in our food because the pasta was undercooked. Also, there was no Cabernet Sauvignon available. Our server was irritable and made us uncomfortable. A large family with a baby and small children were seated directly behind us. It was difficult for my family to enjoy themselves with the baby crying. All in all, it was not an enjoyable experience.

Overall everything was great. It can be loud but it really had to do with the guests yelling across the table at each other. When they left all of the other guests acted like normal human beings. Good sized portions. Service was on point. Its a staple for us when we want local eye-talian food.

Our second time to Scalzotto and they did not disappoint. Garlic cheese bread is delicious. Both dinners were properly prepared and very tasty. Service was very good as well. We will return.

This place is family owned and operated and makes everything from scratch. The food is great and the service is super friendly. I was seated in the outdoor area which had heaters. I ordered the eggplant parmigiana with Brussels sprouts and fettuccine alfredo. For dessert, I had the homemade cannolis. The portion for the main dishes are huge. It’s definitely worth the visit.

Anthony was great. The pasta was very good. I sent my Osso Buco back as it described as being braised in white wine, etc. But was delivered covered with marinara, and the inside was not warm. The meatballs I ordered instead were very good.

We celebrated an anniversary and all five of us left thinking it was a memorable evening. Five different entrees and not a disappointment in any of the choices. The food was excellent, the portion size was perfect. The prices were reasonable. The service was great. The noise level wasn't an issue for table conversation. We will return. This can easily become our new favorite place.

Ashley was our server and recommended her favorite dishes upon request. Everything she advised on was beyond amazing! We had meatballs for an appetizer, chicken Parmesan with homemade pasta and the mushroom ravioli. Perfection all around! I’ll be dreaming about this dinner until we make it back again in the near future.

We chose this restaurant based in the online menu and the opportunity to sit in a private setting (greenhouse). We were disappointed on arrival that our hostess said we should reconsider the greenhouse as it seats three and four would be difficult and we were a party of four. Had we known, we would have gone to the Westminster location to eat inside. The hostess was curt and not so pleasant and welcoming. In asking for our drink order, my friend ordered a standard martini and was told they don’t really have much of a bar and couldn’t make her drink. As we are martini drinkers, this would have been great to know in advance. My husband and I wanted a particular dish we saw on the website. We did find it on the menu…for $4 more! My friend ordered a dish and was informed it was no longer available. Neither was his alternate dish. Given we were celebrating his birthday, it was a bummer he couldn’t get what he wanted. We ordered garlic bread and asked if we wanted it with or without cheese. We ordered it without, but it came with cheese. I indicated on the reservation we were celebrating a birthday and it was mentioned in the restaurant too. Normally a restaurant would offer a complimentary dessert or item. They did not, even after our earlier disappointments. The service was ok, albeit a little slow. The waiter was kind and friendly. The salad and entrées were really good! We ordered the Fritti Misto platter of appetizers for the table, but they were heavily fried and not very flavorful. The pear raviolis were the star dish of the evening. That alone would bring us back! Would I recommend this place, yes…but….

Home made food with incredible taste. They treated us like family. There when you wanted or needed them, able to politely interact and yet give you time alone. They have some. Their unique Pear Ravioli dish was an unexpected delight. Elegant, out of the ordinary and extremely flavorfull.
