Amazing staff, solid food with generous portions, possibly Broomfield's best kept Italian secret.
Always great food and great service
We chose this restaurant based off of the reviews on yelp and we were not disappointed at all and the quality of the food or the quality of the service. All the reviews said to go early because they were super busy we got a reservation for 4 o’clock which is fine we don’t with little kids. The homemade pasta was a stand out to me in the whole meal but really from start to finish everything was excellent. The gnocchi and four cheese sauce was excellent so was the seafood faDiablo with fettuccine. We also split a tiramisu for dessert it wasn’t as big as other customers had described but it was plenty for the four of us two adults two children to share. Doesn’t look like much from the outside but definitely has a Jewel on the inside.
Not what I expected. The pear ravioli was weirdly sweet. The lasagna was good but the rest of the meal fell short. The wine selection was also odd. No familiar
We loved this place. Food was amazing and the service was great. We will definitely go back.
Terrific chef, terrific food, terrific wine selection. The pear Ravioli..sounds weird, but it's amazing. I've had it more than once. That amazing. It is a little bit pricey, but you definitely get what you pay for.
Had a wonderful meal-very enjoyable, relaxed atmosphere and great service.
This place has become a Broomfield staple, falling in with a handful of better quality restaurants in what was previously a restaurant desert. Thanks for doing a great job! Highly recommended.
Piano Recital. We love Scalzottos!!
Staff was outstanding and the ambiance was charming. The presentation and flavors of the dishes were delicious! We will definitely return
The restaurant was nice but the food was very average. The shrimp wasn’t fresh and the wine wasn’t high quality. Good wine and fresh ingredients would go a long way!!
Small Italian restaurant with big Italian flavor! Try the gnocchi!
The food and atmosphere there is fantastic. The service is very good.
Amazing Italian food! Fresh ingredients great service. Nice wine selection as well. Pizza is really good thin and crispy. Highly recommend!
First time eating at Scalzotto Italian. We were very pleased with all ascpects of this restaurant. Our server was attentive without hovering. Small but good wine selction. I am a ravioli fand and the mushroom ravioli was excellant. Basic house salad but the vinagarette dressing kicked it up. I also had a side of meetballs and marinara which was also very good.
Our Mother’s Day dinner was great! Really fresh and delicious food! I had the Chicken Parmigiana with fettuccine which was excellent. It was our first time dining at Scalzotto and was really impressed!
Food is good. Service is good. Lots of light from the windows. Open and noisy. Too noisy for us.
They were sitting parties of 5 at tables meant for 4. We were seated at a table under the bar where the staff was gathering and putting together their Starbucks order, putting utensils together, and dropped some items on us accidentally. Not what I was expecting with having a reservation. It took an hour to get our food. Some items were very hot and fresh where others were slightly warm. The sauces were delicious but the meatballs and caprese salad were bland. The tomatoes were the problem with the salad as they were not ripe. Service was slow even though they were all standing across the bar
Amazing food, wonderful service, great value, and super cute indoor/outdoor seating. Will definitely come back!!
Food tasted great! Loved the focaccia that kept coming! Server was pleasant and accommodating.
Two things -
We were one of the first three tables sat, and other tables came in after us, and we were the LAST table to get our food. Server touched the table to say it would be a few more minutes at one point, but it was probably 8-10 minutes later that our food arrived. Mine my son's plate was STEAMING hot (he's 8) so needed to make sure he didn't burn his hands or mouth.
The idea was to keep tables socially distanced, but the 10 top that came in, after we were sat, there was less than 2 ft between my mother and my son from the other patron at the end of the table.
Nice, quaint. Server was good, could have offered more input, asked more questions if we had been before, and made suggestions. Overall, great food, good wine selection, and we will definitely be back!
We had a great experience. We were seated immediately. Hanna was very attentive and informative about the menu, wines, and recommendations. The food was outstanding.
Excellent food from the start to finish, and the service was very strong as well. Limited options for drinks. We sat in an outdoor private 'greenhouse' and it was a great experience.
Great service, excellent food. They did great accommodating gluten free choices. We loved the patio greenhouses - very sturdy despite the strong winds outside. We'll be back. My only suggestion would be to have a better variety of beverages. It would be nice if they made cocktails - they only had wine, beer and grappa shots for alcoholic drinks. My son asked for a Shirley Temple and they weren't able to make it. Otherwise, we loved the place.
No pizza being made despite it being an item in the menu. Had to ask the waiter multiple times for the same items and still never received any butter for our bread. The food was bland with no flavor. Will not return.
This place is AMAZING! My wife is Italian and we’ve been looking for a REAL/AUTHENTIC Italian restaurant and this place did not disappoint. Great service, amazing food and just welcoming environment.
Fabulous food, great service. You feel like you are in Italy!!
Meh. Three of us went, ordered 3 different dishes. 1/3 was meh(fettuccine alfredo w/chicken) 1/3 was really good (spaghetti with meatballs) and 1/3 was awesome (CHICKEN SCALOPPINI AND MUSHROOM). Service was amazing. Desert was divine.
Would you recommend to a friend needs a maybe choice.
Food is always excellent and the menu changes so be prepared for items to not be available due to high demand.
There was a 20 minute wait for our reservation. Had to rush our order since kitchen was closing at 9. Food was good. Server was a bit inexperienced. Will try again though.
Made a reservation for one of the private outdoor seating booths a month in advance. When we got there on time for our reservation the 4th outdoor booth was “out of service” and we had to sit inside. Was looking forward to the experience for my wife and I’s 3rd wedding anniversary.
Me and my family have been here many times and every time we go we love it more and more. They have added pizza to the menu and the pizza is even amazing.
We paid $10.00 for a bowl of lettuce, maybe 6 thin slices of pear, we asked for more balsamic reduction and we couldn’t get more then the tablespoon they put on this huge salad. What is that all about?
From excellent service to the delicious food (2 words - pear ravioli) we couldn't have been more pleased with our 1st visit. we will definitely be back!
First time; Very disappointed
Bland atmosphere, food very average and both main dishes served barely warm and lasagne sent back and returned still undercooked.
Will not return
Our first time at Scalzotto did not dissappoint. We loved the burrata to start out our evening. Would recommend it highly. Each of choose a different entree and everyone enjoyed their choices. I had the pear ravioli, absolutely delicious. We will be back.
We always love it there. Conner and Miguel are incredible at taking care of us! The food is always perfect and delicious!
Food was great! Really noisy.
I’m a picky Italian, and that’s some of the best Italian food I’ve had at a restaurant in a while. Bravo!
