I have been to other locations and have always had a good time, unfortunately the service was not very good as we had to ask repeatedly for water, or request the waitress to take our orders. Not sure if it was a short staff situation, however, we had to wait approximately 30 minutes to have appetizers ordered and we were going to order mains at the same time due to the wait however our server immediately left. Dishes were not cleared from our table in-between appetizers and entrees or dessert. Definitely not impressed by the service. However, the food was incredible and delicious.
our server was on the forgetful side - had to keep reminding her of my companions beer that he had ordered
Very mediocre food & service.
Very dirty bathrooms.
We came to celebrate a birthday and have a family dinner.
The absolute worst service we have ever had at a restaurant. One of meals that came out was incorrect and incomplete. It was sent back and had to wait an additional 15 minutes while everyone else's food got cold while we waited to dine TOGETHER. Once the food came out, no one even apologized or even said a word at all. It was placed on the table and the server walked away.
We had to ask for refills and even when we did the glasses remained empty until after we finished eating our food (which we had nothing to drink during the meal which especially eating pizza made it really uncomfortable and difficult to choke down). Drinks finally came at the end of the meal once everyone's plates were empty.
Majority of the staff looked miserable and unapproachable. Upon leaving (and likely never returning) the hostess fully ignored us, she turned to the side, did not say a word or make eye contact. No thank you, or have a good evening or even a smile could go a long way.
Completely off put from this place and would not recommend it to anyone.
Way to both ruin a celebration and make your customers feel welcomed.
I ordered the Zucca Ravioli, bruchetta with avocado and goat cheese and the cheesecake. All food items tasted great, however, it took a long time for them to prepare my ravioli. The restaurant wasn't packed and it was close to ten pm so it should have not taken that long to bring my food out. The waiter was nice, however, we often had to wave or look at him to get service. It took him some time to bring my change.
As always the service, food and ambience was excellent. Really enjoy eating here
Great atmosphere, but service was slow & it wasn’t that busy. Caprese salad hardly had any mozzarella or tomatoes. More arugula than anything. Not worth the money. My penne bloagnase was hearty for a small; however lacked spice & was mild in flavor for a meat and tomato based sauce.
Great service from Pavee, she was excellent. She was so attentive to our little grand-daughter and treated all of us fabulously.
Our reservation was for 7 people, of whom 2 were seniors and 1 a child. When we checked-in, they took us to a table with high stool-type chairs. Impossible. We all felt awkward walking back to the front desk to wait for appropriate seating.
The appetizers were great! However, we were a little disappointed with the main courses this time around. The pasta dishes were undersalted and overcooked.
Yes, we would go back, but we've learned a lot from this time around.
It was ok. I’ve had better service at the same location before. Sweet potato was missing on the pizza. That was the highlight of that particular item on the menu. It was fixed but
only after I commented that it was missing.
I enjoyed my meal here. The service and food was really good. I also thought the atmosphere was really nice. The only criticisms are the price is a bit high (but that seems to be all restaurants these days and this restaurant does provide coupons and deals) and the draft beer selection is limited.
The menu offered great vegetarian and meat options and all the food was delicious. The server was attentive and offered separate cheques. We would definitely go back when we are in the mood for a lively, casual atmosphere.
the meatballs and the snapper is a bit salty.
wish there's veal and rizzotto.
everything else taste good.
Prior to being seated; I requested to speak with someone regarding my dietary needs. Bianca was brought over to discuss the menu. She was an amazing help; she is very knowledgeable about their menu & ingredients and she went thoroughly through the menu with me in additions to giving recommendations.
Furthermore; she paid full attention to ensure my server Sonia & the kitchen made all efforts to met my needs which was demonstrated when we ordered our apps, she fly over to our table to let me know I couldn’t eat what was served and immediately ordered the app made appropriately for me.
Put a request to sing happy birthday which they did not even acknowledge. Had a gift card and wanted to leave tip on the gift card and waitress said no you can't. She wasn't very knowledgable.
Met with a couple of girlfriends for a casual dinner - the servers were good - just the right amount of attention ( as we do, there was lots of catching up and chatting - our server was there when we needed her but not hovering or impatient at all)
We had the mozarella cheese appetizer, and it was delish.( love it with the toast and jam and salt)
My fettuccine capri was awesome - so much seafood and perfectly cooked!
My one friend had the beet salad- also fantastic!
My other friend had the butternut squash ravioli - she was not a fan.
The menu is extensive and lots of good variety!
Service was excellent- felt prices were a little high for lunch. I had a simple spinach and beet salad without protein added for $15.
Food was great but the service was very slow and our server took a long time in between visits to check in. I usually have great service at Scaddabush so I was very disappointed.
Very pricy, because of the plate size. Food for trolls, who can eat such portions (main courses)?
Waiter could not wait us to finish food, take the plates with half still in it. Give us some time to eat and enjoy girl ! Altogether is a money oriented place, they don't care about customers, but aggressively make money at any cost.
Fake Italian atmosphere, nowhere close to European restaurants.
Probably wants to be a fancy place, however is a joke, I will not go back.
lets see. The polenta bites and calamari were not availabel to order at time of open. what resto does not have some pof the most popular items not able to order, strike number 1.
the manager did tell us but, then did not offer to replace them free of charge with what we had no choice but to order, we payed to bucco bites that we did not want but had no choice to take.
I order a blood orange soda, it took me three asks before the waitress finally brought it over, she looked like she did not want to be there.
As well, the server keep pushing the fresh homemade mozzarella, i've tasted it, its not fresh it tastes a day old and i would know, my dad makes it too. you guys could learn from him
We felt as if we were rushed. This is the last time I visit scaddabush
Food was mediocre at best. Service was just ok. Our coffee came out well after our desserts had been eaten and they were luke warm. I won't return.
The dinner was amazing, as always. Great value for such an exotic 4 course meal. The waiter, Justin was great. I really like the flexibility of this restaurant. Staff is always very friendly. Tristan and Krysten came over to say hello.
Enjoyed our meal thoroughly. Our serving staff was very attentive and made very good suggestions. The only complaint was that I ordered the prosciuto mozzarella appetizer and only rec'd 2 pieces of prosciuto although very long and delicious expected more for the price.
Our server LORI was very entertaining and very knowledgeable
We had a great time. She made fabulous dinner suggestions and we enjoyed every bite !! Thanks for a great evening.
The food was plentiful and delicious, the atmosphere was very nice and the service was exceptional. This was my first visit and i will definitely return .
This is the 3rd Scaddabush facility I have been to. Even with a reservation and a reconfirmation I had to wait for the table to be prepared. The food was great. Bar service was a disaster as was coffee service. Server was not up to standard. Too many delays with our orders.
Professionals and theur families get together... Totally awsome.. We want to do this again.
This was my third time at Scadddabush Vaughn, although the first for lunch. Lunch was delicious and the service was good. The place looked impeccable and the decor is very inviting. It's a very different feel at lunch time than dinner time. Very quiet and a much more relaxed vibe at lunch time. Dinner is much more upbeat. Both vibes are great, it just depends on what you're looking for at the time.
I would most definitely recommend this place to friends and family. I like the open kitchen and being able to see how some of the food is prepared.
The small portion of pasta was a nice serving size and the polenta tots appetizer is delicious!
Food was great as usual, but service was horrible. I made reservations for two, and got seated in the lounge/bar area (which is fine), but our waiter was behind also behind the bar and completely forgot about us. The food came in a timely manner, but when we were looking for some ground pepper it literally took them until we were halfway done our dish to come around with it.
I must say, I really enjoy scaddabush, but this is the 2nd time I’ve gotten bad service at this location (and there really is no excuse because the place was really quite empty). Maybe better luck next time.
Overall excellent dining experience
My only concern was I was not discounted for charity bread when ordered a pasta meal as indicated on menu when it was also ordered as appetizer.
The food and service was good.
The music was right volume without being too loud and enough to hear a conversation.
The food was fresh and very tasty! Our server was helpful and friendly and the overall experience there was great!
The food and atmosphere were great, service - not so much, disappointing.
Bar type environment. Waitress less than attentive. Food mediocre. Took a long time to get drink order. Big box type venue. Proud that white wine served in hot freshly cleaned glass. Hmmmm. Would not return.
A great dinner out at Scaddabush. Great food options. Dishes enjoyed by kids to senior age range in our party. Delicious food including specialty mozzarella apps, pizzas, and pastas. Nice atmosphere and very friendly staff.
Food was awful. I only went there for the fresh mozzarella and they were sold out. I had calamari which was standard barely finishing it i had the meatball which being Italian was awful and then my salad I had a goat cheese and beat salad which someone who didn't even know how to cook could had made better it was sultry drenched in vinegar. This place if basically an Italian pub except when comparing it to a jack actors or shirtless handlebar go there get the calamari pastas etc and actual enjoy the money you spend for restaurant food.
Great place and pretty decor. Food was great but a bit pricey. Good for a once in a while splurge for a date. Motsarella was to die for but not sure how I feel about them rubbing the cheese and moulding it with bare hands infront of everyone.
Great atmosphere, great staff and great food. Thanks for the experience!
This is my first time to the restaurant. Perhaps it was an off night (as the place was super busy) but my salad had very little flavour and chicken Parmesan was really tough on one side. I should have sent it back but I needed to be someplace following and was pressed for time. Had to remind waiter to bring water for the tea bag he brought to table, after waiting 15-20 min. My friends salad was disappointing too as she did not finish it. As I was leaving I was thinking why are all these people lined up to get in. So perhaps I had just ordered wrong thing on menu. Not sure I’d go back or recommend based on my experience.
