Scaddabush Italian Kitchen & Bar - Scarborough

We had a ladies night out here actually celebrated all our birthdays (3 of us). Food was good, so was the service and we had a great time.

Delicious food - it was enjoyed by all! Our server was attentive.

Given the current Covid-19 situation, we thought the hostess would spread the guests out evenly in the restaurant by seating them in every other booth/table. Instead she sat everyone in back-to-back booths. She agreed to let us skip a booth and then sat another party right behind us. Please consider using the large space that is available and distance guests.

Food is amazing!! Love the fresh mozzarella especially with fig jam.

Great experience

It was our wedding anniversary and we decided to visit one of our favorite places to eat. We weren’t disappointed.

Food was excellent but unfortunately it was over 30C outside and the umbrella didn't quite do the job. Thanks COVID. Looking forward to inside seating again soon.

Love the food and ambiance. It was very hot but enjoyed it. I feel for the servers as they had to wear masks even outside and with all the heat.. Thank you for ur service!

For a business that is solely run on the patio service at the moment, I was very disappointed to see almost as many as half the tables outfitted with NO shade or umbrellas. You just can’t enjoy anything with heat this bad and no shade.

Excellent customer service. Nice patio space. It did get a little bit warm and uncomfortable when we came. But over all it was really a good experience with Scaddabush.

The day we were in it was busy with larger tables. Our mozzarella platter was not really warm so it was a bit rubbery. Our meals were warm but we think they sat under the warming lights too long. We did the google review to get the free cappuccino.

I have been to Scaddabush two times before this and it was excellent. This time was only mediocre. Not good when you are introducing to new customers.

I would like to think that it was just an off night.

Appetizer of Mozzarella Ball was great. The pasta with the entree was only luke warm.

My wife and went there for our valentine dinner around 5:45pm which i had an reservation, the place was packed with people, everything was ok, except the tables was very close together as I couldn’t stretch my arm out as I will touch the person at the table next to me ,
Maybe they put out extra tables as it was was Valentine’s Day.

Pasta was fresh and tasted fantastic. The cream sauce on it was superb would recommend the chicken parm.

Overall, this is a great place to eat. It may have just been the night but the chicken I had on my gnocchi dish was burnt so difficult to chew. Service was great. I normally order the Butternut Squash Ravioli dish which is always amazing.

Lovely place to celebrate my birthday and date night with husband. Friday nights need more staff on hand as our server had far too many tables and constantly forgot our requests. The food is so delicious that we will always return!

Excellent pasta dishes (Al Dente!) Generous portions. Pizza is not thin enough. Friendly staff. Great value

Food and service were great, as usual! They were very busy given the holiday season but were able to accommodate my request to change tables since we were a small party. This continues to be my first choice for all occasions!

Service was poor and waited 20 minutes until a waitress took our order (rudely I mind you since she didn’t give us her name and just demanded for our order)

Scaddabush has changed menu items. We tried their new pasta with tomato sauce and it was lacking flavour. The sauce was runny and not cooked enough. It had no salt at all or any Italian herbs. They removed the mozzarella ball that used to be included in each plate. They now charge another $6 for mozzerella. The pasta costs around $18 and although it is freshly made many pieces were not cooked. Overall, very disappointed. It is highly overpriced for what is offered. We used to love coming here and now will not return unless they scrap this new pasta and tomato
sauce.

Best FRESH restaurant food shared in a long time. Service was a bit slow but worth every bite. Highly recommend this for business or any occasion. Don't t hesitate trying everything on the menu.

Natalia, our waiter was great. He took our orders and got them all as per our request. Food was delicious.

Very good service!

I like the upscale feel of the restaurant. Definitely a place I would entertain clients and friends. Having the connection to the Jack Astor’s sports bar through a discreet hallway is very nice. You can go from a quiet dinner to the sports bar in one location. I would like to see more vegetarian options on the menu, however the food is prepared well and tasted great. It’s on my list of places to visit again.

Went for parents anniversary and the restaurant sounded like a dance club. Music wasn’t appropriate for surroundings.

Our server ( Davis ?) came to our table apologizing that our female server was taking so long and said even though he was really busy hed get us water. We said we would like to wait for our original person. He came back saying he was our server and took our drink orders. The original server looked upset and that set off our evening. I'm not sure why they switched. We waiting long periods of time for our drinks and we just didnt like the way our server presented himself to us. He seemed to catch on and was super friendly near the end. Obviously as the tip was approaching. We mentioned we were there for a bday but nothing was offered in the way of dessert. We actually just wanted to leave at that point. Cant say we will be back.

Good food and service.

Great ambiance, and exceptional food. The staff is helpful and friendly. Can be busy during peak hours, so expect a bit of a wait with service -- the food will be worth the wait. Highly recommend the avocado bruschetta as a starter!

Service took very long, food was dry and not cooked properly. Very disappointed
