The waitress was amazing and we enjoyed the time spent at the restaurant. I had the Baked Penne Carbonara and my girlfriend had the Margherita pizza. The Penne Carbonara was just okay, it wasn't fabulous. I think, for the price paid, perhaps some sort of bread or small salad could have been incorporated into the offering.
The food was excellent. Two people shared a Tuscan salad and the Mario pizza. They brought the salad in 2 bowls, which we appreciated. The thin crust pizza was delicious. We then had 2 coffees and shared the cheesecake. The waiter was personable and very helpful. We will definitely return.
The menu has not changed that much since being Alice Fazoolis but this is okay as we had many favorites on the old menu. It is easy to mix and match by ordering a green salad and adding your choice of protein and this also keeps the cost in check. I had the Pesto Pollo Fetticini and really enjoyed it. A friend had the Bolognese and found it bland and a bit chewy.
Our server, Farah, was excellent and very attentive.
Given the price point of the menu, the food was average or below. Nothing truly awful, and the dessert was truly excellent (panatone bread pudding). However the pasta was underdone, which is a real achievement if they are using freshly made product. The sauces were ordinary; again, nothing bad but really quite plain with little inspiration.
Service staff were attentive yet not hovering around our table. Prompt and courteous, and they knew the food when asked about specific items. It was our server who said she enjoyed the dessert, which prompted the decision to try it in spite of the ho-hum main course.
Overall a fair experience and frankly a disappointment; will not be returning. We agreed that East Side Mario's provided better value for very similar fare.
My wife and i came for the Pasta/Spaghetti special last week,very dissapointed that only 2 of the 11 items on the pasta menu were part of the special.(Spaghetti Day).My Spaghetti and meatballs was ok but the portion sizes were all screwed up,i had to order a group size meal in order to get a large portion.The ambiance was fine and the service was good,but the 2/11 pasta items was a joke.Spaghetti and meatballs or a seafood spaghetti dish or nothing else,a little misleading since the meal was almost $60 with no alcohol.Overall very dissapointed.
I had the shrimp pasta. I was disappointed in the shrimp and the overall flavour. I would prefer to have just 5 or 6 jumbo shrimp rather than 7 or 8 small shrimp. Small shrimp have nothing special about them and always seem soggy. The sauce was also disappointing. It was supposed to be a cream lemon sauce. It had no lemon taste what so ever. I guess the picante over powers the lemon flavour.
Value has dipped. Portions are noticeably smaller, prices are up. I know this is the same across the board, but I'd rather spend that money somewhere a little better. One of their best attractions was the hand pulled burrata, but they no longer make it with cream. So basically what you're getting now is a small hunk of mozzarella, not burrata. Too bad, this was a promising chain. Service remains quick and helpful.
While our meal was fantastic when it came time to pay we were disappointed. We were wanting to pay our bill with a Visa gift card. At which point we were told that it won't work and we needed to pay another way. When I asked for an explanation as to why I was given a very vague and unsatisfactory answer. Basically this is how it is so accept it. It is not posted anywhere you don't accept this card! We LOVE Scaddabush and it is our go to place for special occasions. This left us with a rather sour taste in our mouths when we left.
We have come quite a few times to Scaddabush. Although the pizza is good, the service is definitely not, starting right with the hostess. The last 3 times we came, we waited a long time for our appetizers and then got our main course a few minutes after our appetizer came. It's not unusual to have to ask several times for things (i.e. silverware, more water, cheese). Although I like the pizza, the service makes it a very frustrating outing.
I tool my mother and my wife here for mu mothers birthday. She has worked in the restaurant business for 35 years so finding a place that meets her standards is difficult. She absolutely loved the food and environment so much she will definitely go back and will encourage my dad to try it too!
This is how I imagine all places should operate!
The host at the door was extremely friendly and welcoming. The waitress was knowledgeable, attentive and not overly intrusive. Service was quick and the food was AMAZING!!!! 4 people attended and we all LOVED our meals and tasting each others. The venue is beautiful. I highly recommend this restaurant to everyone!

Server did not tell about specials that we found upon leaving on a card on the table and forgot the T bag with the hot water.........Not a big deal, but would have liked to hear about the specials before choosing from the menu.
We had a great experience at Scaddabush overall. The only thing was that I had a reservation for a certain time, and they made us wait 10-15 minutes before they were able to sit us. Given that was a busy night, it was OK. Once they sat us at the table, everything was outstanding.
WELL OUR EXPERINCE WASNT AS I EXPECTED THE SERVICE LACKED ATTENTION TO DETAIL FORGOT THE WATER THE FOOD WAS COLD PASTA OVER COOKED COLD PORTION SIZE WAS NOT AS ADVERTISED ALTHOUGH THE FOOD SERVICE WAS QUICK BUT THE QUALITY WAS AWFUL MY WIFE WAS ILL AFTER THE MEAL
Very efficient staff. We were seated quickly, the waitress was very helpful. There was an issue with one of the meals. The manager came to tell us he was not happy with the quality and was having it remade and offered any starter while we waited and that the cost would be taken off our bill. Excellent customer service!
It was not a very pleasant experience. We were visiting this location for the first time. We ordered a desert ‘to go’. We paid the bill and were later informed that the desert wasn’t available. Though the waiter agreed to refund the cost of the desert, the result was a lot of confusion since the system wasn’t set up for partial refunds
Initially our server did a fantastic job but then once the appetizers came out she disappeared. She never came back to refill our drinks/check on our meals and by the time she did we were done. The server who brought our dinner over was asked to get us a refill on due ja but never did. So we never got another drink until our dinner was over and only after waiting until our server came
Back to check on us. It was disappointing! My daughter and I had he carbonara and it was very good but the pasta could have been cooked a little bit more to be considered al dente.
Disappointed.....our mozzarella was not as fresh as one would expect from being made on the spot, also the zucchini fritters were over done as was pasta, the server was friendly and attentive almost to the point of trying to compensate for the quality of the food.
