Established in March of 1976, Saz's State House Restaurant stands strong today as a must-visit establishment in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. We ate here on a Sunday night with 4 adults and 1 toddler. All the food we ordered was delicious. Our waiter was excellent. ( I’m so sorry I don’t remember his name. ). We enjoyed the entire time and will definitely return. Thank you!

The service and food was very good. We were greeted promptly and even though we were early for our reservation we were shown to a table right away. My mother in law had called ahead and ordered a bottle of champagne as a surprise for our celebration. She said they were a pleasure to deal with on the phone as well. Overall very well done!

The Philly sandwich contained sausage-like meat and would have preferred beef. The bun was dry and the fries were cold. Service was prompt and friendly. The shuttle to the Brewers game was wonderful and appreciated!

Took my father for lunch. Not too busy at 130pm. Server was fantastic! Food was delicious! We both tried the Festival burger, man that was so good! The pulled pork was awesome, cheese curds were just as awesome! Would definitely come back!

Love Saz's on State Street. Decor is dark wood, circular bar stained glass windows. French glass doors inside too. Several separate dining rooms so you have a bit of quiet privacy while eating. Menu, it is hard to decide what you eat since their Pork ribs are fantastic and their fish fry is delicious also. I love it here at Saz's it is a place that makes you feel alot of history on the exterior and inside. Go here you will love it. Food drinks and service and price are phenomenal. We will be back!

My husband and I came here for dinner after watching a fabulous musical. My husband had a burger, and I had the bbq pork. Both were delicious. We also ordered a Vanilla Blackberry Bourbon Old Fashioned - it was amazing! I just wanted to savor the flavors! We will definitely return!

Saz’s always has a great atmosphere, with sports on TV if your interested but on mute so you don’t have to watch. Good portions of their classics plus new dishes that add variety. Cocktails are interesting and delicious, and they have a good selection of beers.

We dined at Saz's on Friday and the restaurant was quite loud. There were 2 families with young kids seated next to us. Server was friendly and service was good. Food and alcohol prices have increased, but that is expected in this economy. The reason I am leaving less than a 4 or 5 star review is due to an extra charge on our bill. Our table of 3 enjoyed 2 fish fries and a pasta entree, along with a couple rounds of drinks. The fish fry prices at Saz's are slightly higher than other nearby restaurants. When our server brought out our food, I asked for an additional container of tartar sauce. When we received our bill, there was an extra $.75 charge for the small container! First, I wasn't told about the additional charge. Secondly, other area restaurants do not charge for extra tartar sauce or, if they do, they advise you of the charge in advance. We spent close to $100 on our meals and drinks, but feel we were nickeled and dimed due to the extra charge for tartar sauce.
