The skirt steak was delicious as always. And your waitress was extremely attentive.
The restaurant is very nicely decorated inside, and the food was very good.
Food was good. All of the tapas we ate were great, the dinner entree wasn't that great to be honest (stuffed chicken). The kitchen seemed to be backed up as it took some time to get out one of the appetizers (was cold) and the entree was delayed as well, likely because it was a Saturday night. Would go back and would recommend to others, I'd just mix together a bunch of tapas and eat as dinner!
Our family of 5 enjoyed a delicious and very large pitcher of white Sangria. The filet mignon was a large extremely tender cut, cooked to perfection wrapped in bacon with a mushroom sauce! The Red Snapper was large and well seasoned and delicious. We sat down at 6:30 on a Saturday night and left at 9:00. There was no rush and the waiters were attentive and very pleasant.
Friends we invited loved it. We travel 50mi to get there
Seafood was not fresh at all. Mussels smelled so bad and I had to spit it out.
Eight of us ordered something different and we were all very happy with the result. The wait staff is accommodating and attentive but never intrusive. We plan to return some evening for "Flamenco night." Should be fun.
Great tapas, sangria and service. Will be returning to try some of their main dishes.
Food was very good and reasonably priced. Service was attentive but rushed. This was unnecessary as our table was clearly not needed
Lacking ambience and too much lighting. Foods great, servers need to smile more, very dry service.
Consistent in quality and food. Excellent and attentive service every time we have been here. We have dined on tapas only and full meals and have never been disappointed.
Very yummy food. We had paella, escargot, skirt steak, surf and turf, porterhouse, calamari, chorizo, and pitchers of white sangria! everything was delicious and timed perfectly.
The food was salty. Service was good. Prices were high considering the salty food.
Sayola is amazing!! Gustavo, our waiter, was extremely attentive, knowledgeable, friendly & very helpful. The grilled octopus tapas & langostines were outstanding. Portions are very substantial & reasonable.
This restaurant was such a pleasant surprise as far as food, atmosphere and service goes. We were greeted at the door and immediately led to our table where we enjoyed some of the most delicious food I have had in years. The atmosphere was doubly inviting. I would highly recommend this restaurant to everyone. We will certainly come back again and again.
Birthday great everything
Service was great, very attentive. Food was delicious, from appetizers to dinner. The portions are huge, and the prices are very reasonable. A must try place
Friendly & efficient wait staff . Very accommodating on menu changes . Excellent food .. highly recommend
Dhrbio and cocktail was good
Coconut flan was good
Amazing, from the valet to the host; she greeted me & gave me a quick glance of the dinning area. She has a great personality, very welcoming. The cocktails/Sangria was yumo. The food was excellent & the live Flamenco show & dancer stole the show. Absolutely loved it.
Our group went there for lunch after tennis. Each one of us ordered the 19.95 lunch special which includes Soup or Salad and the Entree. We also ordered the Paella Valenciana to share.Food was good and service is excellent. And good ambiance. I will recommend the place to my friends.
This was the third time enjoying the food at Sayola. Each time I never got further than the tapas menu - it is fun to try a lot of different little things, and they have all been good. It is also a plus in the NJ suburbs to find a restaurant with a liquor license - and a nice wine selection and cocktail menu! This most recent visit we were seated near a particularly boisterous (read extremely loud and rude) table - the four of us in our party could not hear each other talk without screaming. Although there was a bit of hesitation they ultimately moved us to a back room where there was a private party. Much better - thanks for asking the party if they minded us taking the table in the corner, we would have left if we could not be moved.
Excelente cocina española y buen ambiente con tremendo servicio
The staff tries hard but the food is tasteless, the noise level way too high and the lighting awful. No reason to return.
We had a very enjoyable dinner starting with a Mojito or Margaritas before eating pork chop, skirt steak and shrimp in a group of 3. The food was generally good although not outstanding. Unfortunately, the pork chop was not very tasty and was a little tough and dry although the sauce and veggies with it and the shrimp and steak skirt were very good. The best was the spanish flan dessert which was excellent, perhaps the best we have had. We will definitely return.
The food was delicious, the service great and we will definitely take the ride back to Sayola soon!
Excellent all around. I'll be back and will tell my friends!
The paella was exquisite!
Our waiter was excellent and knew how to gage our appetite and suggested appetizers accordingly.
Would definitely come back soon
Very comfortable and authentic spanish restaurant. A little bit of real Spain in NJ, worthwhile to visit and highly recommended. The food was exquisite!
Food was excellent and the service was outstanding. Highly recommend.
Food was fantastic. Really liked the selection of tapas and combination of appetizers hot and cold alike. Beautiful setting and ambiance and polite servesz
It was an absolutely wonderful evening....food, service & ambiance, the best! Better than expected.
Nice atmosphere. Good food. Food portions could be larger.
My casino clams appetizer and salmon entree were delicious. The servers helped to make our 27th wedding anniversary memorable.
The food is average which is disappointing considering that other aspects of this restaurant are well done (ambiance, service).
Quiet but easily accessible restaurant off the Piermont and County Roads in Tenafly, with ample street parking. Service was very good and authentic Spanish food, excellent, if perhaps a little pricey. Extensive wine list.
Love the food here and value is good. This past visit, they were clearly short staffed and although the server was pleasant and capable, the service was extremely slow. Will not stop me from going back, however. Probably, just a one off, as I never experienced this previously.
The food was absolutely delicious!! Went for date night and had a lovely evening
Great food we will certainly be going back and recommending this place 100%
