   Dinner for 3. Everything was outstanding. We all split 2 Sayola salads. For entree we all fixated on the Snapper Vizcaina. I couldn’t bear ordering 3 of the same dish and selected the Fideua de Mariscos for my meal. I should have realized after splitting a paella last time, that portion sizing may be greater than one could reasonably handle. Suffice to say, we all took home enough for another full meal. Very tasty meals. I would describe my entree as paella marinara with pasta instead of rice. ‘Pastaella’??? Plenty of seafood in both dishes.

   I was visiting family members in the area and decided to try this spot. Great for family gatherings for brunch. It gives you a taste of Spain. The food is tasty, and the service was just marvelous. They had music playing from 12 to 3pm. I want to go back for flamenco night.

   Our paellas were good, service was excellent. We went during live music which was very loud at times. Prices were a little high. We took home desserts. Flan was delicious. We were disappointed in the size of the slice of chocolate mousse cake.

   Large appetizers and large main dishes. Food was very good and had excellent service. Check is reduced by 3% if you pay cash. Noise level was very low night we went. Two drinks, two appetizers, 1 salad, 4 main dishes, 1 extra side, 1 dessert and 2 cappuccinos and one decaf coffee; check was $245 for 4 diners before credit card tip. Would definitely go back for special occasions. Expect to spend at least $10 at public parking garage across the street. Nice touches warm bread to start and unasked for lightly salted potato chips.

   Since we live in Bergen County, we are frequent visitors to the Tenafly location. My daughter and I were attending a show at the Wellmont and thought this the perfect opportunity to catch a pre-show meal. This location did not disappoint! We had drinks, appetizers and dessert. We ordered hot and cold appetizers: the hot was a combination of skirt steak, chorizo and shrimp in a tomato-based sauce that was so velvety and smooth, my daughter was eating it like a soup and we almost ordered a third basket of bread!!! The other was an avocado and seafood salad: chunks of avocado, pulpo, calamari, bay scallops and shrimp. The octopus and calamari were so tender and the vinaigrette was perfect. A tres leches cake topped off the event and it was perfect. Like its sister, Sayola Montclair is a gem! We'll be back for sure!!

    We had a great meal with wonderful food excellent service and on Thursday nights there’s live music which was a tremendous surprise. Thank you so much. We really enjoyed our time and will be back.
