Saxon + Parole, conceived by the award-winning AvroKO Hospitality Group and Executive Chef Brad Farmerie, creators of NoLIta's PUBLIC, brings a global approach to traditional grill fare, within a warm and inviting space on the Bowery. The 112-seat restaurant – named after two prize-winning, New York-bred racehorses – features rich design elements and modernist details, paying homage to the numerous horse stables that once populated Lower Manhattan. The menu explores traditional grill fare, with a focus on domestic meat and seafood, as well as seasonal and sustainable produce. Diners can expect a global twist in the seasoning, cooking methods, and ingredients – highlighted in dishes such as 28-day dry-aged NY strip steak with bone-marrow béarnaise, Heritage farms USA roasted pork rack with purple-potato salad, and roasted Atlantic cod with a tomato-caper broth, Manila clams, braised fennel, white beans and Tuscan kale

Saxon + Parole Ratings and Reviews
We went to Saxon & Parole specifically for their vegan Impossible Burger option. It did not disappoint and was the most amazing vegan burger we had both ever had. I could not recommend it highly enough- even meat eaters would love it! I had the limoncello martini, boyfriend had a regular martini. We left full and happy and our server was wonderful, I wish I remembered her name. She told us Saxon & Parole strives to welcome vegetarians and vegans with their menu options.
Saxon + Parole’s food was perfect. The seafood tower and the meat + cheese + pickles starter were divine. The special 40 oz. dry age ribeye was fantastic. However, while the creative drinks were tasty especially the fig smash, the wine was at best pedestrian and not properly updated with the wines presently in the cellar. After requesting the well sought out 2010 Alta Rioja, the waitress stated that they were out of it. The waitress told me that they had run out of that wine. I then requested the 2010 Mocali Brunello, and a 2012 was brought to the table instead. Again I was told that they were out of the 2010 vintage. There’s plenty of room to improve this fantastic restaurant’s pedestrian wine list. Moreover, an accurate depiction on the menu of the current wines in the cellar, is not only necessary but really mandatory. If I go back, because the food was truly fantastic, I will expect for the wine to match the gastronomic experience. This past weekend it did not.

The cocktails were great, as were the helpful, attentive and friendly staff. Can't wait to return on our next visit to NY and try out the DIY Bloody Mary Bar..
Went for Thanksgiving, starters and drinks were good but every element of the main was flawed and Turkey was largely inedible due to poor flavor and texture. The pie bar was mostly blocked by people waiting at the bar for their tables and did not fare much better than the mains did.
Heard many great things from friends, will not be able to say the same about our visit.
Saxon & Parole is a cool, vibrant spot close to Soho & Noho. My vodka gimlet was excellent, as well as my Muscadet. The food was fabulous! It's a very neat space with a very fun vibe. Their music playlist was amazing!
Can't wait to dine here again. Thanks to Saxon & Parole for a wonderful New York dining experience! The pic is a selfie that our mixologists took, they were the best!
We had the duck and the salmon - both were amazing; perfectly cooked and flavorful! Our server was knowledgeable and quick to offer suggestions. The Baked Alaska was the icing on the cake! It was a little noisy only because of some guests enjoying their Halloween festivities but everything else made up for it. I would recommend this restaurant!
Our steak arrived over cooked and our server was not as attentive as she should have been. Perhaps this is because we were downstairs. It took a long time for the kitchen to replace the food and it should never have been delivered so well done when we asked for Medium rare. It was a problem as 4 people out of our 6 were sharing this ribeye
