   Asked for lemon that we never got, could have filled up water but all in all we loved it. Food was amazing.

   When we arrived we were greeted with warm smiles and ushered to a table by the window. It was perfect. Sunlight streamed in an we had the corner to ourselves making it feel cozy and private. The waitress was patient and attentive. There were six of us. The food was great. I had a southwest salad that was fresh and full of flavour. We had a memorable family Easter visit.

   The Sawmill is a great restaurant with friendly service and excellent menu choices- for the beer lover there is lots of choice! This is a repeat visit for us. Definitely recommend.

   Very happy we made a reservation as it was full. Our server was super friendly, the menu has so much to choose from, the fish tacos were delicious. Food came quickly and was wonderfully hot. We shared the Brownie dessert, yum. We would highly recommend the Sawmill Taphouse

   It was nice that we had a booth and restaurant was not too noisy. However there was a stain on the back of the booth seat, and a tear/hole on the material in the booth . One of the bar stools was well worn and looking like it was ready for the dump. The half wall beside our booth was dirty... water/liquid stains on the wall, along the bottom was dirty with what was probably mop water? Not enough attention to detail . My husband used the washroom and said it was not clean. Food was ok, but when you're paying $23 for a pizza you would expect it to be 5 star. The wood fired pizza was runny/mushy in the centre and the dough was not cooked through. The other order was placed wrong and had to wait for the correct order. I don't feel that we will eat there again.

   Good food, very good service, portions were good. Some of the menu items have changed.

   Really good servers. Took care of us and was attentive throughout. I like the ambience. I ordered the pulled pork mac and cheese and a Caesar. The Caesar was good. The pulled pork mac and cheese was underwhelming. It sounded good, but the ratio of pulled pork to mac and cheese was way off! There was hardly any pulled pork in the dish and the dish was a disappointment for this reason. I think it could be a winner if there was a good helping of pork to mix into the mac and cheese. I’d suggest 1/4 pulled pork to 3/4 mac and cheese. The two small onion rings are a nice garnish, but it wasn’t enough to save this dish. As its currently presented, I can’t recommend this dish to anyone planning to dine at the Sawmill in the future.

    Food and service are always good here - a great place to meet a friend for a 'chatty lunch' - never feel rushed.
