We strongly encourage you to make your Open Table reservations and we are happy to be able to take care of all of our valuable guests, again. We are Alberta's largest and most beautiful steak house. The Sawmill Prime Rib and Steakhouse stretches over 20,000 square feet with a seating capacity of over 700 dining room, lounge, banquet room, and patio combined.
This location has built its reputation on the Sawmill formula. Serving over half a dozen different cuts and sizes of Alberta beef one cannot go wrong ordering any one style. The Sawmill Prime Rib and Steakhouse has become known for many unique qualities and is open daily at 1130am except Sundays when we open at 3pm.

Private dining rooms, banquet rooms, 40-foot ceilings, outside patio bar and grill, Tom Goodchild's Moose Factory will have a place for you any day of the week. Come to experience the ambiance and enjoy the entertainment.

    As usual, we had a delicious meal, great service and enjoyed being able to carry on a conversation because the noise level was perfect. I also appreciate the ease of making reservations on-line!

    We were very disappointed. The prime rib was very tough and my husband had been looking forward to it as he had been told it was the best prime rib in town! Had not been to the Sawmill in years and don't think we'll be back. Our server was excellent and the ambiance was very nice. Too bad the food was such a disappointment.

    A bit noisy but that was probably based on the large group nearby that seemed to be celebrating. Food was exactly as ordered. Service was prompt and efficient. Staff attentive but not intrusive

    There were renovations happening in half the restaurant so the buffet was scaled down and situated in a different spot. For this reason, the desserts were hard for many people to find There was a screaming child near our table who had to be carried out a few times during her tantrums which was pleasant for a Sunday morning brunch with my family. There was only one meat at the carvery where there is usually 2 so to be charged full price for the buffet when the food was clearly scaled back was disappointing. We won't be back for a while.

    Went for Sunday Brunch..Service was excellent..Food very good..Great Variety from Roast Beef..Bacon ..sausage ..several different eggs ..waffles ..pancakes..small Swedish pancakes.. sweet n sour pork ..basa fish ..salads and another room full of fruit and dessert ..Deeeeelish ..!!! Great Value ..Room is tired but they are currently in renovations ..sealing off half the building ..🙌

    Our experience was par excellence. My adult children found the food and ambience very inviting and exceeding their expectations and tastes. The food was above board and the personnel outstanding. I would strongly urge to those wanting great food and a peaceful environment to give The Mill open table a visit and I know that the open table menu will be most pleasing to their pallet.

    So warm and welcoming, excellent food + service, the kids enjoyed their free refills and the colouring-in was extra good with all the additional activities. That sesame sauce was so delish and we were pleased with how happily they split our bills.

    Our last sawmill experience at a different location with our other daughters graduation they had a card waiting for her congratuating her, so I was expecting that at this location. ( I did inform them that this was for graduation) Our server was amazing and had a great sense of humour !

    When we entered the restaurant there was no hostess at the front desk to greet us. We had to go find a staff member after about 5 minutes and let them know we were there. The restaurant was empty minus one other table. The bathroom is very dated and not very clean. My sisters steak sandwich was lukewarm on arrival. Service was good.
