With beautiful décor and award winning food, this locally owned and operated Sawmill Prime Rib & Steak House is pleased to be serving the border City of Lloydminster & surrounding area. The Sawmill Prime Rib & Steak House proudly serves Certified Angus ® & Alberta “AAA” beef in addition to other well balanced and simplistic in-house prepared menu choices. Centre of the plate hand crafted steaks are the heart of our business complimented with alternative balanced menu items including local poultry, pork, bison and seafood. Our legendary Sunday Brunch Buffet features Omelets to order, hand carved Roast Beef, traditional breakfast favorites and our famous chocolate fountain.     Billing at the table was a mess. We ended up splitting everything because the server was complaining about “the system mixing things up”?? Server wasn’t very pleasant. Appeared to be distracted. Atmosphere was nice as always.

    Lobster tail not brought with meal. Had to ask for it. Was freezer burned and small. Steak was done nice but served cold. Server was kind enough to take the cost of the lobster off the bill. Usually great food and service. Very disappointed this time.

    Restaurant was virtually empty, left us thinking our service and food would be great. Meals were luke warm at best, one of the steaks were very tough, and corn on the cob was very soggy. The waitress was pleasant but could have been a bit more attentive and quick given wee were probably her only table.

    Very pleasant atmosphere and friendly, efficient staff. Quality of meal was generally good but the corn cob was soggy and I was given a different potato and side than ordered. I am not fussy so I ate what I was given.

    Very nice restaurant. We reserved and were given a location, near exit, bathroom, so some foot traffic. Seemed like we sat about 10 minutes before server showed. Probably 5plus Food was just okay for supposed upper type restaurant reputation and cost wise Bacon wrapped scallops were tasty, nice sauce, Prime rib was chewy. Not real warm as bit of wait for toppings. Will go back

    The waitress was new and mistakenly put the bowl of horseradish on our table. The server overlooking her shift notified her of the mistake right behind where my boyfriend and I were sitting, so we were able to hear the entire conversation. It took away from the mood and made it slightly awkward when a waitress took the bowl away before we had gotten a chance to take some and without asking if we needed it.
