The Sawmill Prime Rib and Steakhouse stretches over 20,000 square feet with a seating capacity of over 700 dining room, lounge, banquet room, and patio combined.

My lady and I came to the sawmill for brunch. Fabio and the other lady that was working were absolutely amazing. Couldn’t ask for better service. And kudos to the kitchen the food was to die for. Highly recommended coming to the sawmill for what ever occasion!! Thanks again Fabio and crew!!!

Amazing service. Such great workers at this location. The food was amazing , I over ate because I couldn't see such well cooked meal go to waste. Great portions. Bar tender made perfect drinks. It is going to be hard for a restaurant to wow me now. Definitely will be back and highly recommend this location for special occasions, date night and just to have nice quite , relaxing and delicious meal. Thanks for the amazing experience

We had a great time and an excellent meal at the Sawmill. The staff was friendly, welcoming and very attentive. We will definitely eat here again. My 75 year old father says it was the best prime rib he has ever had in his life.

This is a great local place to go for steak or prime rib. They have their own farms to source their beef. The wait staff and management were very friendly and made good suggestions. The big comfy chairs were an added bonus. Price is about right for a good steak dinner and I would come back next time I am in Edmonton.

May 22, 2023 at 6:00 pm 4 people dinner, 1 New York steak, 1 Filet Mignon, 2 Ribeye, 1 bottle of red wine. Filet Mignon is good. New York steak is acceptable, not exceptional. 2 Ribeye is terrible, meat so tough that it is hard to cut even with the steak knife. Vegetable are very ordinary. And about the service, we didn’t get our cold water refill until we ask for it. And we never did get ask do we want coffee / tea and dessert. Overall, we are disappointed.

The steaks were good but we asked her steak to be medium well and it was medium rare and my steak was supposed to be medium rare and was medium well other than that rest of the meal was good no restaurant seems to know how to cook your steak

The Mother's Day buffet was exceptional. There was an abundance of choices and the food was refilled frequently and always hot and fresh. There was also an amazing variety of desserts. Other places would have charged double for this variety and quality of food.

Service was friendly but slow. Drinks took forever. Food was slow and cold. Yorkshire was old and hard. Roast was ok but one of us ordered rare and got well done and the rest got med. the bar restroom was dirty. The amount you pay you definitely deserve better. We eat at the sawmill all the time this was the worst experience. Not a great Mother’s Day meal

Very slow service. Food arrived cold, asked for malt vinegar and the waitress didn’t know what it was. Came back ten minutes later and offered balsamic which we accepted and ten plus minutes finally brought a thimbleful after everyone had already finished. Not the high level quality and service we had previously experienced at this restaurant. Ambience was poor as well. For an example linen basket in plain sight of customers and multiple brown boxes. Very disappointed.

I had the centre cut sirloin and it was a wierd shape, tough and vlover cooked. The waiter never came to ask if the steak was right which I thought was a normal thing to do. In fact he never asked anyone at our table how the food came out. I was disappointed. The ambience was nice and I was thinking how nice a quiet restaurant was but the food disappointed. I might c9me back but I won't have steak.

it was advertised as a Mexican buffet. Even on the door only to get there and be told ohh it's been canceled. At least update your website with canceled on it. Like seriously if you continue to do this people will be like why bother this place is unreliable. Salad was fantastic but seriously no sour cream or salsa for a taco salad. Hopefully these other theme nights work out as its nice to have a change up. Unfortunately mothers day I don't celebrate as I don't have one.

Haven’t been to the Sawmill for years. We got a gift card so we decided to go for date night. Fantastic service, our waiter was incredible! Give that man a raise! We ate in the restaurant side and it definitely needs a renovation. Chairs were cracked, hallway to the bathroom was dirty, 1/2 bathroom stalls were working. Bar side looked much better. Food was good, veggies were undercooked and still crunchy, prime rib was a little overdone but everything else was good!

Took a couple out with us for a dinner at Sawmill. In the room we were placed it was very loud from a couple of other tables. Service was good, food taste good too, although I found the portions smaller and pricey. The meat was done to our likeing, the vegies were a bit hard. Mashed potatoes were very tasty. My martini tasted off.

Food took over 40min to arrive. Paid extra for the steak to come with potatoes and fruit, but the fruit was missing. The waffles for the chicken and waffles were grainy with watery syrup. The servers were very kind and friendly though.

The service was slow, we had to keep requesting for coffee, water (which never did come), the order was incorrect, the food was not cooked the way it was ordered. Overall, we were very disappointed with this visit to The Sawmill. You really do have to go back to your Buffet style. Other restaurants have gone back to buffets, I don’t understand why you can’t, it will be a long time before we think about returning to The Sawmill.

We went for Easter Brunch. Our server did his best but the food and noise level were awful. The breakfast (steak and eggs and eggs Benny lacked flavour and were undercooked. The room to the left was so loud that we couldn’t hear among our own table. Kids meals were missing fruit. Would not recommend.
