   The food was EXCELLENT!! If you are vegan or vegetarian there are some very good options. We had to wait 20 minutes bc OPEN TABLE lost our reservation. But the restaurant gifted us a round of drinks. So all good!! OPEN TABLE - do better!

   Glad we had a reservation and we were seated immediately. Staff was attentive. Drinks were small and pricey but delicious. 2 people in our party were vegan and there wasn't a lot of options for them but they enjoyed their choices however they said they wished the sticky fries were cooked longer so they had a little crunch cause they were soggy. The Mississippi chicken sandwich was amazing but again, a little pricey for what you get. Overall it was a great experience.

   Looks unimpressive but food was good, especially the crispy Brussels sprouts and pitiful puri shrimp. Korean cauliflower had too much sauce and looking at menu on line is a trend that I hope never catches on.

   We met old friends at Savoy Taproom and had a delightful dinner. Starting with the Brussels sprouts appetizer, salads, and butternut squash soup (delicious with toasted pumpkin seeds), we were all enjoying the flavors. Then most enjoyed the Chimichurri Steak while I had shrimp on the Harvest Salad, a wonderfully tasty winter salad. I was a bit sad there were no other seafood options besides shrimp on the menu this night. Our server, Sarah, was friendly and helpful throughout. She even gave the advice, "follow your heart" when I was choosing. Good advice! Thank you, Savoy Taproom!

   GF pasta was crunchy and be sure to ask for salad dressing on the side unless you enjoy your salad soaked in dressing. Staff was friendly.

    Savoy Taproom has become my go-to Albany restaurant! Took a good friend with me and once again enjoyed the delicious Piri Piri Shrimp appetizer ~ so good! I tried the Cauliflower and Chickpea Masala, which was nicely spicy. The basmati rice was perfect accompaniment, but not enough of it. Actually the dish was big and I ended up taking over half of it home. My friend ordered the Meatloaf and Mac and loved it. A compliment to the bartender - you make a tasty Cosmo! Many thanks!

    We began with drinks at the bar. Wonderful bartender helped me choose Pull Up The Roots, a mixed drink with roasted sweet potato bourbon, peach bitters, all spice, Amaro, simple syrup and toasted marshmallow. Absolutely fabulous. The bar was dressed for the holidays with loud patrons having a good time! We moved to the dining room for dinner...a lovely dark green room with Christmas decorations and a much calmer atmosphere. My husband and I ordered the crispy fried Brussel sprouts and fried cheese curds (with a deadly but delicious spicy aioli sauce). Both excellent. I asked our server for a wine suggestion and he candidly said he had no idea but he'd ask at the bar. He brought a Cotes du Rhone red that paired perfectly with the appetizers. My husband and I shared the meatloaf and 4 cheese Mac dinner. Again, the food was delicious. I had a piece of flourless chocolate cake for dessert and we left full and extremely satisfied with our eatery choice. It hit all the right notes of Christmas cheer...from the decor to the music to the amazing staff. We will be back!!

    First, the wait staff was amazing. Our principal waitress was very helpful and friendly. I had "Pull up the Roots" for a drink. I would have never chosen this on my own, but did so on the waitress's recommendation. It was fantastic! We had the shrimp and cauliflower appetizers, and shared the Mississippi chicken sandwich. The food was outstanding. Highly recommend!

    We found Savoy on OpenTable when we we're visiting Albany for my licensing exam. The food was incredible, I highly recommend the Brussel Sprout appetizer. The seasonal cocktail I ordered was also delicious. Great beer list!

    This is my second time here, loved it my first time and was the reason I came back. I’m not sure if they got a new chef but the menu has changed drastically and not for the better. The waiter was great tho!

    Had a wonderful time taking a first date to savoy taproom. Lively enough to be fun but still able to carry out a conversation. Drinks here never disappoint. Didn’t order food but I’ve never had a bad meal here. Service was exceptional and waitstaff friendly and engaging. Highly recommend!

    First we ordered two cocktails that were $13 and $15 and they came in a very small glass about 4 sips worth. We sat outside on patio and our dinner was served on paper plates! Food was nothing to write about and nothing special. We were disappointed and won’t be back.

    We arrived in Albany fairly late and were very hungry. The Savoy Taproom was open and the close to our hotel. It was a very good dinner and we will definitely return. The staff was very welcoming and attentive. A good experience overall.

    Our favorite restaurant in the Capital District since they first opened. Jason & his crew are the best of the best & the quality never slips. Much as we love the dining room, we’re looking forward to dinner on the patio again when the weather gets a bit cooler.

    Second time here, and food is prepared very well. Outside patio area needs some enhancements, as it is basically the parking lot with a large dining fly over the top. Much could be done to make this area more enjoyable. Food as always is very good, and signature drinks are prepared with care.

    Savoy is always wonderful, and the back patio is a special treat. It is so peaceful out there and the chairs and tables are very comfortable. The people who work there are so friendly and remember our favorites and offer helpful info and advice about items of interest and allergen questions. Many different types of selections,including gluten free and vegetarian. Good mix of reliably having your favorites and having new specials to try. Nice wine selection and reasonable prices. They do a great job, even when busy, of being available when you need something without making you feel rushed.

    Outstanding Experience! From Victoria our hostess, to our server Amanda everything was FANTASTIC. Food was excellently prepared and reasonably priced. Parking on Lark St. can be a bit of a challenge, but we were able to find a spot quickly nearby and walk the couple of blocks to the Savoy Taproom. Music choice was not our style, but we are from the older crowd and understand that they are attracting more of a younger vibe here. We definitely plan on eating here again.

    Our hostess Amanda and waiter Keith were so friendly and helpful! The potato leek soup and veggie burger were great. Lots of gluten free and vegetarian options. The back patio is a lovely space and the seats were comfortable.

    Amazing food. Cocktails hit and miss. Some really good, some undrinkable. But server tried to kindly adjust. Issue was staff member apparently “manager” who seats people, was the rudest person I’ve ever found in a restaurant setting. If you’re that unhappy maybe call in sick to avoid ruining other peoples day.

    Had a 6:30 reservation on a Sat and we were seated quickly. Our server was knowledgeable and provided great service. The drinks were pretty good, a little on the pricy side. The food was fantastic (ordered the Brussel sprout app, Peruvian chicken wings, salmon main dish and a ship pasta special). I would absolutely go there again for the food.
