Excellent service; Filet cooked exactly as requested; bouillabaisse with shrimp and scallops was delicious; nice wine list.
Anniversary... Sarah was the Greatest
Excelent food!! Every bite was a religious experience!! We were “mmmm ahhhhh wowwww!! Amazing”!!
Great food and service
Just an all-around great dinner! Wonderful service! A beautiful Pinot Noir! And an outstanding Filet Mignon!!
Savoy has consistently proven their quality time and time again and there is no better fine dining establishment that comes close!
Had the duck. It was smothered in the sour blueberry sauce and it ruined the duck. The veggies were great though.
Food was very nice, wish for more vegetarian options. Large groups noisy in dinning area. Wine list needs more options.
Asked for and we were seated in room with fire place and high vaulted ceiling. Tables are spread out making it quiet and comfortable.
Service was excellent as was the food
Cesar salad had too much dressing; salmon was slightly over done (dry); prime rib was a little tough
This was a late Valentines Day event. It was recommended by someone at work and we were not disappointed. The server said the chef wants the prime rib to be the best in the city. If it wasn't the best it would be very close.
Savoy is an excellent fine food restaurant. We been going for the last 9 years and the food, service, and atmosphere has been top notch every time!!! Awesome for special occasions or an fine evening out!
Food was great, always consistent. We did tell Savoy ahead it was for date night, they seated us in a quiet area. Perfect for us. Service was amazing. We asked for a slow evening and the server worked to give us the timing we wanted. Communicated very well. The chocolate martini was average. Given how great the food is, they could up the chocolate martini.
Made a reservation through Open Table. Easy, love this functionality. Celebrated my wife's birthday. I ordered off the fixed price menu: great food, great bargain. My wife ordered off the regular menu, and was very happy with her meal as well. Decent and competitively priced wine menu, and had some of my favorite local micros on tap as well. So...fixed price menu, salad, entree, cocktail, beer, and a bottle of wine...not counting tip...got out for about $125.
This was our first visit. We are new to Albuquerque and I wanted to find a special place for my wife's birthday. Someone recommended Savoy to us and we noticed it a few months ago when we ate at a nearby place. Food was great and service was outstanding. Natalie was our server and she was very pleasant, prompt, and really ensured our first visit was special. I would definitely ask for her again. Overall, great place for a special occasion.
The savoy always provides a very pleasant dining experience.
The food is quite good, the service on our visit was excellent and the ambiance was just right for conversation.
It was really great, called ahead to reserved room by the fire place and when we arrived, we were the first ones in that room. My wife really loved the fire place . Or waiter was great and very attentive on our drinks and informed us on the progress of our meal. The food was great and it really made the atmosphere more enjoyable.I would recommend it for any special occasion. We always let the manager know if the waiter was exceptional which w did. I know sometimes that scares the waiter staff but they should be recognized a well when they do there job correctly, instead of hearing they weren't attentive enough. Thank you Savoy for make or anniversary very special.
The caesar salad was very good. I ordered the salmon, which turned out to be slightly over cooked, after I asked for pink in the middle. My date had the bison short ribs with root veggies, which was tough and under cooked, or cooked too quickly. The veggies were inedible--very tough and also under cooked. The waitress was nice and attentive and offered a small prime rib as an alternative. It was fantastic, but the whole substitution thing ruined the evening, my birthday. The wine, from Michael David should have been decanted and it took half a glass to taste right. They comped some truffles for the boxes going home, but a good & expensive restaurant should be doing much better...
My husband have been enjoying Savoy every year for our Anniversary, we wouldn't think of celebrating it anywhere else. Never disappointed.
Enjoyable evening but two minor things. Kitchen was slow and my prime rib ordered medium to medium well came out mostly rare. Sent it back to be cooked more. Second whenever the "heat" cycled we were treated to a draft of cool air. Fortunately this didn't happen too often.
The prime rib was amazing. All the sides were, as well. Eager to go back!
Excellent birthday dinner in one of the cozy smaller rooms with a fire burning. Delicious fish stew and good recommendation for a tasty and moderately priced wine.
Dining experience In November 2017 Was excellent- 5 Star, so we had high expectations. Ordered same dishes (Jan 2018) and the food quality (prime rib and steak) were noticeably lower quality. Service was excellent. Overall (Jan 2018) 3 (out of 5) Stars.
We arrived early and were seated right away. They were very accommodating when we said we had tickets to Popejoy that evening. The service was excellent and the menu included a variety of dishes including vegetarian. The food was cooked to our liking and was excellent
This was our second time there and the manager remembered our being there several months previously. I would recommend this restaurant for any occasion.
We ate dinner in the "fireplace room", very cozy and beautiful. The service was excellent, wine was good, and food was outstanding. This is fine dining at its best in Albuquerque.
I love Savoy, had a great dinner and date there. I'll return and I'll recommend it. I don't want any more emails from you, I get too many already. Please take me off your email list. Thanks.
Tasty menu - love the prime rib for dinner and a wedge salad. Cocktails and wine are always spot on. Huge wine list - Savoy is a local Albuquerque gem for sure!
Service was 5-star, as was the food. We always have the best time and most amazing meal at Savoy! Best restaurant in Abq!
We went for a nice Christmas eve meal...It was wonderful. Food was great...ordered a bottle if wine for the 3 of us. Asked waiter for suggestions and ended up with a nice, respectable bottle. Ordered two appetizers: the goat cheese and calamari...very nice! I had the scallops, yummy. One daughter had the prime rib, tender. The other daughter ordered the filet, perfect. For dessert, we opted for the bee dessert. Very tasty and designed with whimsy. It was a wonderful finish. Our service was perfect. The server was helpful and available.
I will return.
The evening started badly because we were crammed against the wall in their little side room that is always freezing but they were able to move us so that turned out fine. Our server attentive manhattans very nice but then came the entree . We had the seafood special which was baked lobster tail shrimp and scallops with lemon butter sauce smashed redskins and bok choy. Seafood cooked perfectly but everything else tasted of water. There was some inedible sausage too hard to chew but the over all flavor was water. Smashed potatoes had no flavor not even salt pepper same again for bok choy. The lemon butter sauce was almost non existent except at edges of plate . Last year Christmas Eve dinner was exquisite but this year a bland watery disappointment . Cannot say what we will do next year
Pleasant restaurant. Our table had 2 prime rib, one pork chop and one special and all were excellent. Deserts and cocktails were also good. Can be a little noisy and service can be just a tiny bit slow. Will be going back.
The Savoy has become our neighborhood "fine dining" favorite. It compares favorably to the best in Nob Hill.
We had a group of 7 and enjoyed ourselves very much! The salmon and scallops was amazing. Cooked perfectly.
This was my first time coming here and absolutely loved it! This was the perfect place to celebrate our anniversary. The food was top notch, as well as the atmosphere. Can’t wait to come back again!
Excellent family Holiday dinner. Good service and food. Fairly quiet and excellent cocktails.
Food was good but the oddest thing. I ordered the wedge salad and the salmon. I got a wedge salad with a piece of salmon on the plate. My husband ordered the beet salad and the scallops. And he got a beet salad with a couple of scallops on the plate. That has never happened to us in 45+ years of dining out. They would have fixed it but the couple with us were served their entrees at the same time and that would have been awkward. Hence the 1 star on 9service.
Excellent food, service & ambience
Beautiful upscale ambience and great service, but food lacking and prices high
Four of us had dinner at SAVOY BAR & GRILL to celebrate a Bon Voyage occasion, and while the service was outstanding, the food was mediocre and the prices high. We started by sharing 2 appetizers: the crab cakes and the ahi tuna appetizer. The crab cakes were good although a bit dry, while the ahi tuna was outstanding! Then we took advantage of their discount “Sunset Prix Fixe Menu” (offered between 5:00 pm to 6:30pm), and enjoyed several good servings. Our first courses consisted of the Autumn Squash Bisque (really delicious), the Caesar Salad (surprisingly bland), the House Greens Salad (nothing special), and a new Apple-Brussels Sprout-Blue Cheese salad (super yummy). For entrees, we ordered the Cedar Plank Salmon (delicious), the Parmesan Crusted Chicken Carbonara (the pasta and sauce were good, but the chicken was tough and salty), the Prosciutto-Wrapped Scallops (Really Fantastic!), and the Prime Rib (unpleasantly half meat, half fatty gristle). For desserts, we had two of the Pistachio-Cherry Ice Cream Dacquoise (delicious), the Queen Bee (FANTASTIC!), and the Pumpkin-Maple Pecan Pie (served frozen solid, so we had to wait till it softened). On the other hand, service was outstanding! Our server Danial H. was super attentive and responded immediately to our requests, even anticipating refills for our wines. It was a “good” dinner, but the so-so quality of food was not worth the high prices. Ambience is upscale and beautiful – several companies were having their staff Christmas party dinners here tonight. Nice wine and cocktail selections. This place is great for making an impression, not for the food.
Wednesday evening turned out to be a good night for dinner at Savoy. Only three other tables occupied in the main dining room. This meant that the noise level was low. I've been to Savoy on busy evenings and conversation has been next to impossible. We ordered the halibut special, which was perfection. Our server was Carter; he was perfection too.
I would not recommend this restaurant at all. The food was terrible and the service was even worse. What a disappointment. The prices were too high.
