Starting with the fabulous flavors of the octopus with white beans and blistered cherry tomatoes and the creamy texture of the veal and ricotta meatballs dinner was nothing short of spectacular! We travel quite a distance for Savona’s signature dish, dover sole in a lemon butter cream sauce with pignolis, asparagus and artichoke hearts, and it never disappoints!

A wonderful dining experience. The service was excellent, personable and friendly, but not hovering. The cuisine was equally superior. We were seated on the patio, which was more quiet than the main dining room and had more natural light. For appetizers I had the shrimp cocktail, which consisted of six large Gulf shrimp. Perfect! The other party, had the meatballs, which were excellent - I was told. For the main course I had the rigatoni Bolognese, which was great. My other party had the special pasta, which was enjoyed very much. We were very satisfied so dessert wasn’t in the cards for us. Definitely worth a return visit!

We had an awesome waitress, Aunya, who provided great recommendations and excellent service. The appetizers, drinks and food were delicious. Favorites were eggplant parm and branzino. Great time overall.

Food and service is good. Hard to park but they have valet service. Surprised that they charge for a second soft drink to refill a small glass of Coke!

This was our first time at Savona. Even though it's an out-of-the-way place, it's been a noteworthy spot on the Main Line for decades. It just so happens we received a gift certificate, so we had a reason to go. We chose a Friday evening, around 6:30, and we were fortunate that the place was not crowded at the time. The hostess greeted us warmly and showed us to our seats right away. I had informed them in advance it was our anniversary, so the champagne was a very nice touch. We chose to be seated on the "porch" side of the restaurant, which was a great choice. The service was spot on and we didn't have to wait very long. Our server was lovely and took our order easily. We're not drinkers or big eaters so we had one appetizer along with our entres. I ordered the Branzini, and my wife ordered the salmon. My fish was cooked perfectly, but hers was a little dry. (overcooked). The taste was good, so she chose not to send it back. Overall, I would say the experience was very positive and we would go back again if we have the chance.
