Manager was fantastic .
Service was very friendly
Hoping they get heaters and permits soon love the tent
Savona under the tent is a delight. Menu is diverse with plenty of options for salads, pizza and entrees. Service is good with a “team” taking care of a table. Wine selection is excellent. Hope they get their heater permit soon!
A comfortable and attractive outdoor dining experience. The food is always excellent.
Great every time we go.
Love the outside area too.
It was my son 12th birthday and joy did he enjoyed . The manager and server was awesome
You need to get heat lamps. It was freezing which did damper our experience
We had the best time at Savona! My parents were in town visiting, and this is the restaurant that everyone has been talking about around town if you want to do outdoor dining. We were insanely impressed! The ambiance was so sweet with the billowing tents and twinkling lights. We started with the two meatball dishes, bread, and fish stew. We all had pasta dishes: spaghetti, crab and corn risotto, short rib pasta, and bolognese. All were delicious. Truly no complaints. Our waiter was excellent. I will be back for a date night with my fiancé!
The food was simply delicious however the wait for food and drinks took almost an hour
Doing a fabulous job with outdoor dining - been there 4 times.
The prices for the quality and service was just not there that night. Service was not bad, but token in attendance, no warmth or follow up. Wine prices were high; we're not experts but for wines we tried, we were not wow'd. That said, the the blue crab and corn risotto was excellent with a high amount of crab chunks. Peach and tomato salad barely had peaches.
We had a great waiter—Jeff.
And the menu is excellent.
The bartender is excellent with generous cocktails served cold!’
Food and service were outstanding! It’s one of the nicest outdoor dining tents in the area. The indoor dining is situated in a beautiful historic home. Cushioned chairs, excellent service. Valet parking.
A bit pricey, but considering that restaurants need to operate on reduced capacity, it was really good to get out and support.
Everyone was extremely friendly and it was a very special experience- perfect for a birthday. It’s booked up quickly on the weekends, so make your reservation well in advance.
Savona has GREAT clean food. Everything was delicious from the bread to the appetizer, & lastly the main course. The hangar steak was seasoned to perfection!!! The service was excellent as well!
Savona is expensive so any glitch is magnified . The outdoor set up is not at all upscale although the prices are . The place seems short staffed or perhaps they were overwhelmed. The hostess was angry when we asked for a different table . I sympathize with the conditions they are working under but when your north of 250 for 2 I’d expect better .
Prettiest outdoor setting of any restaurant. But poor service, high prices, and unacceptable food. Friend’s filet was so salty, it was inedible.
As the 2 of us sat, guests arrived in droves for 120- person private function across the parking lot under large tent. Steady stream of Unmasked diners kept walking past other outdoor porch where we sat; congregating and talking without masks as we are feet away. valet parkers hovering - wearing no mask in or out of cars; filthy seat cushions and tablecloths.
A birthday dinner during a monsoon. We asked for a better table in the middle of the restaurant’s outside tent and were told no. We had to move our table behind the hostess stand in from the edge so we wouldn’t get wet. The food was only OK. The waiter was fabulous.
Great service and great food. Dover sole is one of the best fish I have ever eaten.
Great atmosphere. We loved the outdoor seating under the tent it could not have been nicer. Comfortable and just super fun. Service was fabulous I’m sure it was delicious.
They never disappoint from service to food always top notch always professional
Started with beautifully made cocktails followed by delicious appetizers. My Faroe Island Salmon was outstanding, and my husband enjoyed his Garganelli pasta with short ribs. Olivia was an outstanding server.
It was our first time at Savona, and we will be back. Delicious food, and very helpful staff. Talia was the best.
Great Food & Service! Had a fish Special that was Amazing. $60! 🤔🤔🤔 Definitely should’ve mentioned the $$$
The food was delicious. The ambiance if the outdoor seating was delightful. Great overall experience.
Perfect in every way for eating outside during covid.
Everything was very good except that the wooden chairs where we sat to eat were very uncomfortable. Some sort of pads should be placed on them to make dining a more enjoyable experience.
Love Love Savona! They have really taken the time create a beautiful outdoor dining environment! These are tough times and needless to say they have rose to the occasion!
Ordered the steamed clams a few were unopened and was missing the grilled baguette that was on the menu . Mgmt comped a drink for the inconvenience. Broccoli rabe wasn't very good. Will give kudos to the pastry chef. Also, the restaurant hired a new valet service. They parked our car under trees that by the end of the evening our entire car was covered in sap. There was another car parked next to ours that was also covered.I called the restaurant that evening since the GM for the evening wasn't available and left a message with the hostess for the GM to return our call. Never happened. At least we received a phone call from the owner of the valet company to ask about the car.
Given the challenges of Covid-19, Team Savona are exceeding expectations on every count. The food was terrific, as always, and the service, gracious.
Service was very good.
The focaccia bread was delicious.
My husband liked his filet mignon, although it was overcooked, not the medium rare he ordered. My bronzino was not the best I have ever eaten, served with way too much tomato sauce that took over the taste of everything on the plate including the fresh fennel that would have been delicious if the sauce was a marechiaro and not so heavy.
I will give Savona another chance at a future date.
We loved brunch at Savona! And our server was superb! So happy to hear about music on Wednesday and Thursday evenings!
Got lucky & got a last minute reservation on a Saturday night! We were sat right away, service started out a bit slow only cause our server had a lot of tables, but then turned around throughout dinner! Risotto with crab was amazing and so were the scallops. Can’t wait to go back!
Wonderful outdoor location during pandemic. Great food and service
Enjoyed the ambience of outdoor dining....I started with salmon tartar which was accompanied by baby thin potato chips...this was a great way to enjoy this appetizer...my entree was the sweet corn and crab risotto, which is a must try...all in all an outstanding evening at a place that always seems to shine...
It was a little buggy where we were located. We needed the fan facing our direction.
Gorgeous set up. Great food.
Great food and service. Good to be out again and feel as comfortable as we did.
